The Bhoomi Burger far exceeded all expectations! Believe it or not, the only thing this nitpicker can find fault with is that the burger was a little messy to eat - but that's to be expected. More on that later. I find most fast-casual burger places make something decent, and some make hockey pucks. Meanwhile, this one is leaps and bounds above the rest. The lamb patty on its own was not only soft and well-seasoned, but also brimming with flavor. Then I took a bite of the whole thing and temporarily bounced up to food heaven. The herbaceous, savory, and earthy notes of their chimmichutney took the burger to another level. The veggies added some additional freshness, with the avocado and mayo contributing even more savory notes. Big bonus points for a fresh bun, too! On messiness: The container was small enough that I could barely slide my hands in to grab the burger. This, combined with the somewhat slippery chimmichutney, meant that keeping the burger together was a difficult and losing battle. No worries - less chimmichutney would mean less flavor, and I have no issues eating anything (burgers included) with a fork. Simply, I'd hope Bhoomi Modern Indian Grill considers larger containers for these... otherwise, don't upset the balance! Location is inside the food court. Very easy to follow menu. I got the basmati rice with chicken bowl with tikka masala sauce and a side of their signature sauce to try. The bowl comes with veggies and they went well with the dish. The were very generous with the tikka masala sauce and it had a kick to it. So their signature sauce helped tame the heat a bit. Very delicious. The Bowls are pretty big, so I only ate half and took the rest home. My friend got the salmon bowl and the side of the chimmichutney sauce. Bhoomi is located in Urban space in the loop which is home to a lot of local food vendors. I have picked up my lunches during weekdays a lot of times from Bhoomi and was never disappointed. I ordered a Quinoa bowl with Vegan kebabs sprinkled with Chimichutney and the Mirchchup this afternoon. The bowl was a good blend of colorful veggies and the kebabs were really juicy and flavorful! The sauces seemed very fresh and spicy enough for my palate. I have also ordered cauliflower bowl in the past that is pretty good too. My boyfriend absolutely loves their Quinoa Salad Bowl with steamed chicken. Bhoomi is a hot spot for lunch. Usually there is a huge queue so I'd recommend to place in your order in advance and pick up as they get pretty busy. This was inside of a food hall across from block 37 that I forgot even existed. I wanted to try something new so I went on Uber eats and saw this so I was like I'm a try it cause I love Indian food. so I order from off of Uber eats and then just went ahead picked up. I thought they would be way busier because it was lunchtime, but it was only one person ahead of me getting their food before I did. And since I ordered online, I didn't really have to wait. I passed by urban space the other day but never set foot inside. It reminds me of the Street in Waikiki's International Market place. I was pleased to find some Indian food. Pretty standard chose your base and topping type format. We tried the two Naan combo. One with charred Cali flower with bhoomi sauce and onevv by with beef kebab with chimichutney sauce. This combo is a great way to sample some flavors other than their kebab platter. We both though our naan's were great. They do not skimp on the meat - this is NOT a smash burger. Sautéed onions, chimichutney sauce and greens make this perfect. The lamb melts in your mouth and pairs with the herbal tangy spice of the chimichutney well. So good. Give Bhoomi a try. I love the modern approach they are taking to Indian/Mediterranean food. Still tastes very good though The phulka rotis, quinoa and rice bowls are all good and yes, they somehow even made vegetables like purple cabbage and bell pepper testy somehow. I ordered the build your own bowl with rice, steak, and bhoomi sauce. What I got was a bowl with rice and chicken and bhoomi sauce. What a disappointment! I ordered on an app to get a $5 discount and the app told me to pick up my order in 20 minutes. 20 minutes for a food court restaurant is too much already. But when I went up to the counter to pick up my order, they told me that they were out of steak and asked if I wanted another bowl that was already made (but completely different from what I ordered) but no one picked up. What?! So I waited another 5-10 minutes for them to prepare the actual bowl that I ordered (now with chicken instead of steak). I think all foodies will agree that chicken is not the same as steak so I was not happy about this substitute. By the time I got my food, it was difficult to enjoy it because how much can I say about food court food that took 30+ minutes to prepare and also didn't get what I ordered. After seeing glowing reviews of this place, we decided to check this place out for an early dinner. We got 2 Phulka rotis (chicken and beef) and the quinoa bowl (steak) and overall it was solid, just a bit too salty. Each order comes with a bunch of vegetables and a choice of sauce - so we were able to get 2 sauces in the roti and 1 sauce in the quinoa bowl, but requested it on the side so we got to try all 3 of them regardless of roti or quinoa bowl. Portions are on the smaller side for the price of fast casual, but you feel fairly satisfied after. I really love the beef, while the steak is very soft but a bit on the mushier side from the over seasoning. I wouldn't say this place is amazing, but it is still a good place. read more

Very solid and flavorful quick take out Indian spot in the Urban Space food hall in The Loop. I was working at this office this week and my friend and I decided to grab some lunch that was within a relatively short walking distance. I've had this place once before from a Yelp event, and figured I'd come back to support. I got the naan and roti with steak and shrimp respectfully. Both were delicious. To be honest, both of them filled me up comfortably, but I think I could have eaten just a little more to ride me over for dinner. For the price point plus tip, I wouldn't say it's necessarily the cheapest option for take out - at least not what I got with the extra hot sauce included (which they charge for). I am extremely disappointed that they have a mint cilantro sauce that can ruin everything with the sand . Thorough cleaning is very very important with any garnishes or greens even an amateur cook knows that . I request the ownership to look into this asap. And change it. I thought the actual naan was kind of small for the price but it did fill me up. All in all was very good and I'm excited to try their other items such as the bowls and burgers!
