The waiting room is welcoming and the private treatment rooms are quiet and calming. Each room has it's own tone, that is set fourth by the therapist. This place is without a doubt top notch. They are a full service healing center that offers quite an impressive menu of holistic treatments that are 100% client focused. It is clear that the therapists and all staff in general are there because they want to be. Therapists are knowledgeable and incredibly able to contour every treatment to the client's needs or requests. I have been in with Stanley for a 70 minute deep tissue massage. Stanley is incredibly talented and focused on your body and body responses. He is professional and thorough. The deep tissue experience is just wonderful - especially for those that are on their feet for their profession - Nurse, etc.. I have scheduled another massage with Stanley and cannot wait to go back. It really helps to detoxify the body, loosen the muscles and clear the mind. I recently went in for a 70 minute hot stone full body Swedish massage with Kayla. Kayla is a very skilled and masterly in her craft. Again, she contours the massage to the client and is very interested in any specific areas / body stress you may be having. The music in her room is outrageously calming and appropriate. Her massages literally take you to another place. I was so calm and relaxed when I left I had to sit in my car for a minute before I started driving! She spares not one second of your session for anything other than making you feel absolutely wonderful. I plan on being a regular of Kayla's as well. This place is a 10. It is such a step above your "chain" massage centers. If you are looking to take your healing needs to the next level, look no further. They offer amazing incentives for first-timers and students. They always have a special of some kind running to help members maximize their experience without maximizing the cost. The value goes far beyond what you would expect. Absolutely fabulous!

The facial starts out well. Cleansing, exfoliating, microderm, all fine. Then she asks if I want extractions for an extra $10. I have literally never gotten a facial costing over $40 where extractions weren't included... But I go for it since I'm on a Groupon. She gets the tip of my nose and that's it. Seriously? I KNOW my skin isn't so perfect that it doesn't need extractions. It had been months since my last facial! Moving on. She puts the mask on. She's mixed in tea tree oil which starts to sting my face, so I let her know. She is very nice and takes it right off and applies some aloe instead. Here's the problem: she was just bragging to me about how cheap aloe is, $1.49 at the store. Then she goes and puts it on my face as my mask, and never puts another one on after the tea tree one. So the $1.49 aloe is my mask. Sorry, but I could have done this at home. Then the facial is over. It lasted 50 minutes. No massage. No head rub. No real mask, hardly any extractions. Total "value": $143 not including tip. I mean... So then I email them my grievances and explain why I didn't like my experience. No one answers. Instead I start getting mass promo emails. I even respond to one of them reminding them that I had messaged them with some feedback. Again no answer. Bye bye Dharma! Had trouble with many of the CNA's not speaking English very well, but they usually respond to the call light quickly except for two different times when there was a long delay... there was a lady across the hall who was out of it and she would scream all night multiple days per week... they did not seem to have any solution for that. So Sleep was a problem. I guess the physical therapy and occupational therapy I experienced there was somewhere near adequate. Staff is generally very friendly, did not meet anybody i did not want to have caring for me. They accommodated me having some food brought to me from my house or the grocery store and let me store some in their refrigerator .. saw the doctor one time, and the Social worker and case manager didn't seem to have much interest in what I needed. Staff nurses seemed to be overwhelmed by Patient demands most days, often rushing if they appeared at all if I asked to see a nurse... I would say that the vibes were mostly good, but they could use more staff to handle the patient demands. I'd say seven of 10 were competent, and pretty much everybody was friendly. I give them a four star rating because they are much better than some other places I've been but there's obviously room for improvement, what's needed are mostly more staff and better food, and better case management/social worker availability and care.

It's not super clean. It's a house and when I was there it was just one 77yr old man running it. So think of going to your grandmas house and that's the level of clean. 2. Because it's not clean, you need to bring your own sanitizing wipes, towels, and flip flops that you plan on throwing away after. Oh and never put your cloths on the floor. DO NOT use their towels there was poop stuck on them when I went. You could tell it was put through the wash but regardless still washed poop stuck to it. The part that gets inserted into the colon is brand new out of the package every time. I saw poop on the floor, kind of under the machine so it would be a bit difficult to reach with a mop, but still poop on the floor. So if you wipe down the part you sit on and the other toilet yourself and then use your own towels, & flip flops that you never take off you should be good. 3. DO NOT go here for your first time as he has very little patience and doesn't answer any questions and if anything goes wrong he yells at you like it's your fault instead of kindly helping you with the problem. I read from different reviews that other people work there? When I went it was just him so make sure you ask if you want someone else. 4. I think he might live there? I think your literally walking into this guys house. Because it is a house. So think about going over someone else's grandfathers house and that's what it is. Like it's not just "homey" I'm pretty sure it's his house. For example the vibration plate is in the middle of the living room with a ladder in front so you can hold onto something. The lights& sound meditation is in a different living room so you have people walking by while your eyes are closed. 5. He has no problem touching you or your towel. Granted it was all appropriate touches in appropriate places but there's no warning or request to touch. It was especially jarring when he did it while my eyes were closed on the meditation part. & when he touched my towel while I was on the hydro colon cleanse table. So I can't speak as to what it would be like for a long-term resident to live there. My experience was dominated by lack of information provided by staff. Did not see a doctor while I was there, and the different nurses I saw had no consistency about the meds they gave me, I saw no administrator or social worker until the day before discharge, and that was only after I made a strong phone call to the front desk demanding more information about my situation. That being said, I did receive PT/OT, and successfully improved enough for discharge during the week I was there and the CNA's and Nurses on shift treated me well. Decent response to call signal and genuine inquiry into how I was doing and what did I need was much appreciated. my main complaint was that the food is terrible... Meager portions of extremely unappetising and not very nutritious food. At least the room was clean, and I did not hear anyone screaming about any problem with their care, and all the folks who passed by my door seem to be getting along just fine with their situation. So I was happy to see what looked like a functional facility.

They got me in 14 days from barely being able to negotiate the 5 feet from the bed to the chair to walking the equivalent of a city block. They are committed to Covid control so 14 days of residency are required to enter the gorgeous gym. Their Covid control record is excellent per the State Health Dept. List. Why not 5 stars? The walls desperately need a paint job, the furniture looks 3rd hand, and the food was pretty awful. Bottom Line: If you need a facility that does not resemble a tacky motel, stay away from Bannister. If your serious about rehabilitation, come here.
