Swagg Biscottino real swag Actually pretty swag flavors, mad choices I'd like to try more flavors

Beautiful and delicious gelato flavors, conveniently located not far from Ditmars station in Astoria (and near a ton of restaurants and bars). Came with a group on a weeknight after dinner and drinks nearby and we were able to grab a table outside. A little pricey and they sometimes run out of flavors by evening (I was craving pistachio but it was done!) but I've only had really nice and helpful and patient staff tend to me here. Can sample before you decide and they have vegan and gluten free options.

I truly hope this is what heaven looks like! The shop was clean and all the workers were friendly, especially when I was indecisive. Not only does the display and presentation of the gelato look amazing but the gelato taste and texture is excellent. My boyfriend got the Oreo one and I got a chocolate one. The chocolate was so rich. You will definitely need to take a walk after stopping here.

On one of the night walks I went here to stop by for dessert. The gelato was DELICIOUS and what I liked the most about this place was their ambiance!! It just felt so calm and cozy and yet had a very city-feel to it. I don't know what it was but it felt like what I wish nyc was more like. The ONLY thing was I wish the price went down a little bit BUT they tasted really good and for the quality of it it was worth it. I wish I could give 4.5 stars.

Super cute decor, marbles, seating and loveee their selection of gelato flavors!!! Went for the small, with scoops of Almond Coconut & Amarena Stracciatella, so good! Friendly service also!

After dinner nearby, our friends raved about a local gelato spot. Initially, I'd thought I'd share a gelato with my partner - ohhh I was sooo wrong. Once inside, greeted by a friendly, smiling face behind the counter ready to help, and about 20 tantalizing flavors of artistically displayed artisan gelato, our mouths were watering. Several samples later, the four of us made our choices and devoured every bite. The small fits 1 flavor. For $1 more, the medium fits 2 flavors, and for $1 more, the large fits 3. I got the medium, and for flavors tried the halva pistachio and the espresso stracciatella flavors. Stracciatella has little strands of hard chocolate throughout. Both were truly delightful. My partner and our friends got a mix of chocolate brownie, an almond variation, tiramisu, Belgian chocolate, and kinder bueno. They also have a selection of sorbets, as well as waffle cones and an affogato (absolutely love a good affogato). It's a really cute spot on Ditmars in Astoria with plenty of seating inside - but keep in mind all their tables are for two's. It also appears they have another location in Englewood NJ!

Such a unique flavor selection. I got a small cup and they gave me two large scoops of two different flavors. I got Italian rainbow cookie on the bottom and Amalfi lemon crunch on the top. I love how they give you the little waffle wafer and the rainbow cookie when you get that flavor. This was definitely the best gelato I've ever had. The lemon was flavorful and creamy without being sour and the crunch added such an amazing element that elevated it. The Italian rainbow cookie was so good and satisfying. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Hope to come again next time I'm in Astoria! The flavor selection just looked too good.

I was not particularly fond of their gelato, especially the strawberry mango-flavored sorbet, as it didn't have the texture or sweetness I was looking for in a sorbet. Their full menu includes ice cream, sorbets, gelato shakes, and coffee, which we found to be rather on the expensive side. As for the service and restaurant, we found the customer service to be a little slow and disorganized, and the tables did not appear to be regularly cleaned! Overall, a miss for us. Not worth a second visit.

Finally made my way to Bianca Nero after drooling over their insta for months. This is definitely one of the better gelatos in town and they have super unique flavors and give you a decent size scoop. The service was quick and there's indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your treat!

OMG.... bianco nero is fantastic!! My partner and I couldn't decide on flavors, but luckily we were allowed to try a bunch to help us narrow down. I got the Dubai chocolate while he enjoyed the cookie butter. Both super flavorful and creamy. On the pricey side, but worth it for a sweet treat.

Beautiful, modern gelato shop on Ditmars with a great selection of flavors. Friendly employees and samples are available and they offer a very unique assortment. Flavorful without being too sweet. There's outdoor and indoor seating as well as options for your dog too!

Such delicious gelato! Such a great sweet treat on such a hot day. The gelato is so creamy and sweet and you really can't go wrong with any flavor. You are also able to sample flavors before you buy. They even have vegan flavors and sorbets.

The newest gelato spot on the block. Popped in after drinks on a warm Thursday night, line to the door at 9pm, moves quick. Staff was very friendly & patient. Outdoor seating. My group of 5 sampled a few flavors, unfortunately the pistachio & Dubai chocolate were sold out (I went there for the pistachio). Our group got a variety of flavors, all were good, the small $8 is the perfect sized portion. They even offer a mini cone for $4 which is super tiny but a good option if you just want a small treat, I tried the chocolate brownie which was very rich and chocolatey, delicious! Now I have to come back to try the pistachio.

Concept: cold gelato sandwiched between a hot sweet bun, with your choice of sweet sauces. Not instagrammable whatsoever. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture they have up. Looks more like a squished McDonald's hamburger where you can't see what is inside. All you see is bun. This concept doesn't work with a hot bun. Flavor profile of sandwich. Bun was sweet and clashed with the already sweet gelato. Didn't particularly like texture of bun. Even though I ate it right away, a warm bun with melting ice cream in between, just starts dripping all over my hands and arm, creating a sticky mess. Napkins alone couldn't clean off the stickiness. Had to find a bathroom to clean up. Pistachio flavor gelato was gritty in texture. This is a small outdoor window stall. No indoor or outdoor seating. Final note: Very disappointed that their advertised picture looks nothing like what you actually get. The idea of a hot bun with gelato in between doesn't work. People don't like eating drippy melted gelato. A plain scoop of sorbetto is pretty good. I'd recommend ordering that.

Unfortunately, unlike the other reviews, the staff was not as friendly and she seems to took awhile to get the order right (she had to re do it for mixing the flavors wrongly) but perhaps it's late afternoon on a hot summer day so she is having a difficult day. Remember to bring cash as there is a surcharge if you use credit card. I got in a cup so cannot comment on the cone or sandwich version. Great addition to flushing especially during the hot summer days!

Fantastic gelato near Times Square broadway district. Perfect for after a show!…read more We sampled a lot of the flavors and they were all very good but the three best for us were strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio. They taste like they use real flavoring and not artificial flavors. Some of the white chocolate flavors are a bit overly sweet for me but that's how real white chocolate is to me as well so all the flavors are pretty spot on.

This review is for the Anita Gelato located in the Theater District (there is more than one)…read more There are many flavors to pick from. The way the containers are sold is what they call a regular, medium and large. We did see cones as well, but we were offered prices for the contaibners, so we went with that. You can have one or two flavors in the regular, up to three flavors in the medium and up to four flavors in the large container. Or, you can have just one flavor - up to you. Note to keep in mind: Gelato melts fairly quickly, so if you select flavors like chocolate, mango, and strawberry mascarpone and ricotta in the same container, you are going to have a gastro-nightmare in your mouth! Therefore, I recommend you select flavors that have similar ingredients or are complimentary in some way. As an example, we got the dark chocolate, the hazelnut mousse and chocolate crunch, and the stracciatella. Our favorite was the dark chocolate (plain). The hazelnut mousse was too grainy and sweet for our liking. The stracciatella was nice, but lacked depth of flavor to the gelato overall. Staff will let you try samples on a small spoon if you are undecided. The line can be long (out onto the side walk) to get in, and there are very few tables. So, when you make your order unless you are there on a "down time" be prepared to walk and eat your gelato (another reason to keep in mind the flavors in case of drips on your clothes)! The scoop is served standing up in the container. After the adjacent theaters let out, the line is long. We got a regular size container and with the tax and tip it was just a little over $11. The regular size container is suited to one person. The medium can potentially serve two people if you share "nicely" with each other! They also sell yogurt and coffee drinks. We were in town just for a few days, so we only tried three flavors, but if we were back in the area again, we would try some of the fruit-flavors they sell. Enjoy!
