The most lackluster ice cream I've ever tasted. The store is cute and cozy and clean and the service was great. Also, the serving size is huge! I gave stars for that. I tried 3 different samples, not really liking them and decided to get a pup up of chocolate, thinking you can't ruin chocolate. Well, friends, this was the most underwhelming chocolate I've ever tasted. For me, the flavors here are on their way, but don't reach their full potential.

Small, clean place and very cute with forest hills decor. The worker was so nice and attentive and very sweet to my child. There are so many options with cookies and ice cream. We got pistachio, rainbow cookie and vanilla with lucky charms and it was delicious. Will try cookies next time but it was great and will definitely be coming back !

We got the ginger milk pudding. Do think it's a bit pricey ($10) since it's an easy dessert to make but I guess it's all the theatrics. They pour the dessert in front of you and put a sand glass on top. Once sand glass is done, so is the dessert and you can even rest a spoon on top. The dessert is very smooth, barely a solid, and its ginger taste is very strong- which I like. Strong ginger but pairs well with the milk and good amount of sugar. It is a bit spicy but I like it this way. They do have a lot of other desserts as well as savory items on the menu. Intrigued by their savory menu and will definitely come back to try them next time.

Let the countdown begin. I deducted a star after a server placed a porcelain spoon on the pudding right as I was taking my photo. OMGOSH, the Ginger Milk Pudding was absolutely delicious. One word: Scrumptious Snack: Octopus Ball (Takoyaki) Mmm, these bite-sized takoyaki were savory and super tasty. I paid my bill in cash to take advantage of a 2% discount. Bookmark this spot to try!

Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

The layers were flaky. The cream, exceptional. Such a wonderful Pistachio flavor. Sweet enough to curb any sweet tooth. Service was easy. We ordered at the pastry display and they brought our desserts to the counter where we also ordered a Lavender lemonade. It was so good. Starbucks Lavender has nothing on theirs. The ambiance was nice. Some camped on their laptops. Others running in for a quick bite. Beautiful dining area. Very comfortable, as well. The booth couches are a nice touch. I ordered the strawberry tart, lemon tart and pistachio Mille fille. I really appreciated the packaging and the takeout bag, which made it seem very high end. The pastries were all pretty good and were HUGE. The tarts are very similar and the pistachio Mille fille has a subtle taste. It was reasonably priced. My only complaint is the checkout process. It was slightly disorganized but I think it was mostly due to the amount of customers they had that day.

This is actually cheesecake rather than the lighter Japanese version, with a strong black sesame flavor. Hojicha creme brulee: this came as part of a promotion, and the taste is strong. They do brulee the top on the spot and my sugar top got a little too burnt. Oolong tea cheesecake: still good, would get this again still. Lighter flavor but the floral flavor does come out at the end of a bite. Coconut milk jelly: the lightest of the flavor but still sweet and flavorful enough to come through. There's a dusting of graham crackers and strawberry jelly to complement. We also got a hot matcha jasmine latte but it was actually cold. It seems like it normally comes iced and perhaps they have no way of warming up the jasmine part. There's a points program and tons of promotions that rotate. There have also been different desserts that rotate so I'll have to keep coming back to try more. They have a lunch special too where you can get a drink or dessert for less cost.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating. We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! So if you want to skip the bar, I'd recommend checking out this tea spot for a nice hang out.

The second location in New York is 27-51 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101. My first NaiSnow experience was at the Long Island City location. I walked in and ordered the Matcha Latte Boba, Caramel Egg Tart, Matcha Tiramisu Tart, Coffee Tiramisu Tart at the counter. It didn't take long for the order to be ready and it was all packed in an insulated bag. Inside, there are a few tables and countertop seats. The caramel egg tart is filled with custard core and a caramel aroma, the coffee tiramisu tart has a sponge cake soaked in coffee and layered with cream on a crisp and buttery tart, and the matcha tiramisu tart is made with premium Jingshan matcha powder fully infused into the cake base and layered with smooth cream cheese filling. We walked into a clean and cozy space with the pastries displayed up front, making it feel like a nice casual stop for a dessert or afternoon drink. The layout is inviting and functional, with enough seating to enjoy your food and drinks instead of just grabbing everything to go, and the overall atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to take a break, especially if you are looking for a dessert spot in the neighborhood. The egg tarts are definitely the standout item here. We tried a few and found the crust has a nice flaky texture while the filling is smooth, creamy, and rich. The matcha egg tart had a good balance between the matcha flavor and the classic custard base, and the matcha wasn't just a color or light topping, it actually came through in the flavor. The classic egg tart is also a solid choice if you prefer something more traditional. Their other pastries, like the cream horns and seasonal options, add some variety beyond the usual bakery selection and give you reasons to explore beyond the egg tarts. The drink menu is another strong part of NaiSnow. They have a mix of matcha drinks, teas, and fruit-based options, so there are plenty of choices depending on what you are in the mood for. The matcha drinks pair especially well with the pastries since they keep the overall experience from feeling too heavy or overly sweet. The service was friendly and the staff were helpful when ordering, guiding us through the options without pressure. The shop has a comfortable energy, and even when it gets busier during peak times, the seating area stays manageable and the pace of the visit feels relaxed. The combination of pastries, drinks, and a cozy setup makes it a well-rounded stop for a quick dessert or casual café visit. NaiSnow Tea and Bakery is a solid place for egg tarts, pastries, and tea drinks, offering a dependable stop that feels both thoughtful and satisfying without overcomplicating what it sets out to do.
