We walked from Old Town Prague to Bibimbop Korea. Didn't expect the walk to be so far but we were VERY pleased to have found the place and even happier when the busy restaurant was able to find a table for the 4 of us. This restaurant was busy and booked full with reservations. After having dined here, I understand why. The food is amazingly delicious, service is prompt and attentive, the staff there are polite and welcoming. The food was served quickly and it was savored by all of us in our group. Wonderfully seasoned, all the foods were the perfect temperature and plenty of drinks to go around. The host was friendly and checked in on us during dinner a couple of times to be sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful service! This place is the best Korean food in Prague. Definitely worth the walk or if you're hungry, take a taxi but definitely don't miss out! This place is the place to go and be sure to make a reservation.

One of the best Korean meals of my life. Not sure if this is the norm there, but there were no banchan served (at least only kimchi). But the food was so good it didn't matter. Everything was authentic with beautiful and intense flavors. Pancake was crisp and the dipping sauce A+. Dolsot bibimbap was fresh and the gochujang had depth. Everyone has their own favorite dish and I can't speak to all of them, but I can tell you I was jealous of every other dish I saw on neighboring tables. Other pluses- very nice atmosphere, not in the tourist center of things.

My husband and I found this place while strolling the neighborhood we were staying at. We are always down for Korean so we actually noted this place and came back for lunch on a Monday afternoon. We got there about noon and only a few tables were seated. In the hour and a half we were there, the places filled up pretty well. The menu has mostly Bibimbap but a few other noodle and rice dishes too. My husband ordered a kimchee soup (came with rice and three sides) and me the buckwheat noodle soup to start along with the noodles and vegetables for my main. The food, unfortunately took a bit of time but after we got our food it was so satisfying and delicious! The wait staff was nice and the restaurant tidy. I would definitely return if staying in Prague longer. If you're in the neighborhood, go have a taste!!

Finding decent Korean food outside of Korea has always been a challenge for me for whatever reason. Thus, I didn't expect Prague to be the exception. Bibimbap Korea was decent but not extraordinary. I had a spicy bulgogi Bibimbap. I was a little surprised about the sauce used to induce said spiciness. Typically the bulgogi is already tinged with spice, but this came with a hefty layer of red sauce around it. Mix it up, and you have a volcanic amalgamation of hot lava that comes out the next morning in a less preferable way. Jokes aside, maybe it's personal preference, but the sauce kind of killed it for me. Had I ordered a non-spicy dish, the meal probably would've been better, as the veggies and beef themselves were great. Fair prices and a reasonable place to go with friends, family, or that special someone.

In a land of European, Eastern European sausages, potatoes, cabbage, dumplings etc. it is nice to find an 'authentic' Korean bibimbap restaurant. Spending a lot of time in S. Korea and KoreaTown LA where the very best Korean cuisine can be found, it was wonderful to find this little respite from the local flavors of Prague. Bibimbap Korea Praha is a simple nicely decor place with a perfectly sized menu cooking and preparing only what they do best. Authentic and traditional Korean food! Nothing more, nothing less. The service is also authentic warm Korean hospitality. While during my visit there was one Czech girl server, the other three were Korean. ALL were pleasant, helpful and available when I needed something. I started by asking my (Korean deleted)(pronounced yeodongsaeng) which means younger sister if they served OB Beer which she didn't understand at first, but saw the smile when she realized I was referring to the original Korean beer made back in the early 20th century by Oriental Brewery known as OB when you ordered a beer in South Korean now...like everything else beer is owned by AB InBev. :) I ordered Japche-Bap wheat noodle soup with crispy pork rind. Which I eat first while still a little crispy before they get soaked and soggy. The Bibimbap! was good enough to be homemade from my very own Korean mother...uhh...if I were Korean...and had a Korean mother, which I do not. It lacked for nothing, and they even served me my raw egg that I've become accustomed to on my bibimbap. Which is best to put on top and mix into while everything is still hot from the kitchen so the protein and yolk blends perfectly to give it such a wonderful taste. I would have added a little Kikkoman soya sauce if had thought of it at the time. But I didn't seem to miss it at the time. A very good sign. All in all, it was a great meal surrounded by several tables of Korean girls and women (which there are a great many things much worse in life than that) See you again! Enjoy your meal! Had it as our last dinner in Prague and it was fantastic!! We stayed in Žižkov for our 3-4 day trip in Prague and wanted to have a couple meals out of Old Town (aka out of tourist trap zone). This place consistently came up during our restaurant search, so as much as we tried to resist (initially thought it was weird eating Korean in a Czech city), we caved and wanted to see what the hype was all about. Also we were craving something Asian after a few days :P Walked in at 8:30pm on a Monday night and it was packed (wk night full house? Yesss). We got seated a quick 5 min later. It's the trippiest experience to see Korean dishes in a Czech menu (which also came w English translation). We ordered: -Bibimpap -Kimchi Jjigae -Dubu Kimchi (stir fried kimchi w pork and tofu) -Beer (they also serve soju, sake and makkoli which is Korean rice wine) Everything was thumbs up delicious. The bibimpap came in a colorful display and w/ a side of soup. Unlike Korean restaurants in the States, where the small complimentary dishes (banchan) come out before ordered entrees, here it's served at the same time (which I was told by my Korean friends is the way they do it in Korea). Bibimpap is served w the sauce added already and on the spicier side, which we liked. The kimchi jjigae was much appreciated by myself as it was a chilly rainy night and it simply hit the spot for me. Nice fermented flavor w chunks of tofu and pork...I was in a happy place. We def did not need the dubu kimchi, but per usual we over-ordered, and it was another tasty dish. The place also takes credit card which is an added bonus. There were at least 3 large tables of Korean patrons sitting near us and they seemed to be very pleased w/ their food which is another validation of the quality here. The waiting staff and the owners were very personable as well. I'm really glad we came here, next time I have Korean food stateside I'll be thinking of you!

AMAZING KOREAN FOOD AND AMAZING STAFF. We came here twice during our stay in Praha. For some reason, this restaurant was the only one open till late AND accepted credit card. It was pretty crowded both time we came, but we never had to wait for a table. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was excellent! Best kimchi fried rice I've ever had. The portion was perfect and the flavors were satisfactory. My friends thought their dishes were amazing as well. Everything was fresh. The food here is nicely priced, full with flavor, and decently portioned. We heard other American couples around us say it was the best Korean food they have ever had. If I'm ever in Praha again, I'd definitely come back.

This place is ran by a Korean couple so we had high hopes that the food will be authenic. We weren't let down! The kimchi jjigae was so tasty and especially comforting in the cold winter. The kimchi jjigae meal comes with rice and 3 other side dishes - beancurd, vegetables, kimchi. However, only their beef bibimbap is the traditional kind. Their pork bibimbap come was salad kind of vegetables. Their kimbap was just ok. But overall, a really satisfying meal!

What an exquisite experience. I come from California where good Asian food is everywhere, and I've really been craving some authentic Asian food. A friend of mine who had studied abroad in Korea told me about this place and that it was legit, so I came to check it out and wasn't disappointed! It's a very cute mom and pop shop. I ordered the ramen since I wasn't feeling too hungry today, and although it was extremely spicy, it was also authentic and delicious. Perfectly cooked noodles in a spicy beef flavored broth that was clearly much more authentic then your typical Shin ramen. The two owners are adorable and so nice as well. I'm definitely going back and trying their bibimbap soon!

As a Korean food lover, I loved Bibimbap Korea! The first good sign was that the restaurant is actually run by Korean people. I went with my boyfriend, and all the seats were taken around 12:30pm on a Tuesday. We only waited about 5-10 mins until we were seated and the workers were extremely polite. We ordered one bibimbap, a ramen and kimbap combo, and two makkolis (Korean rice wine). Everything was just so good! The bibimbap came with soup and a side of kimchi. The kimbap was yummy and came with soysauce and wasabi, although that isn't really traditional. The only thing was the fact that the ramen noodles were made from a cheap instant ramen pack, but that is to be expected because of the cheap price! Everything in total for both of us came out to be 400czk which is about $16-17 USD. Another plus is that still water is served for free. My boyfriend loved it so much that he went for a second time by himself the next day after I flew out of Prague. Definitely recommend this place!

Having lived in Korea for over two years, and being with a Korean, we were excited (but a bit skeptical) to find some Korean food next to our place. The first thing we noticed was that the waitstaff were not Korean, though the chefs were. After looking at the fairly extensive menu, we decided on the Bibimbap, Pajeon, and bulgogi kimbap. The restaurant's signature dish was delicious - on par with what you'd find in Korea! Flavorful, authentic, and chocked-full of various fresh veggies. We also appreciated that it wasn't served too hot. Our pajeon was solid; nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside with delicious bits of green onion and squid. The kimbap, a staple of my diet when I lived in Seoul, was a bit of a letdown. A tad bland and dry; you can see why they didn't name the place "Kimbap." The meal wasn't cheap, but not prohibitively expensive either, though I'm used to paying less for similar dishes. The biggest negative of the meal was the lack of side dishes, as well as bland kimchi that seemed 'washed' in attempt to downplay its natural spiciness for the European market. I'd recommend Bibimbap Korea, but stick to the bibimbap!

I always crave Asian food whenever I take these long European vacations. As my husband and I have been traveling for a little over 2 weeks now, I was at a point where I would kill for some good Asian food. Then in comes Bibimbap Korea. Their soondubu (tofu soup) tastes legit! I mean, I cook that at home quite often so I know what it should taste like, and here it was. I left happy and satisfied.

Pretty decent food. For its good prices we were happy. I think my appetizer the duckling soup was better than the main.

Food: I ordered the Bami Goreng, which is an Indonesian noodle dish, similar to pad thai. I have to say, it was actually quite good, as the noodles were cooked well and I have no complaints about the chicken and veggies in the bowl. The portion size was decent, although it was definitely a bit overpriced, at 499 CZK (~22 USD). Environment: It is very clear that this place is catered toward tourists. The decor is sort of a lavish yet tacky / stereotypically Asian style. For example, there is a gold Buddha statue, bamboo, fish tanks, and more along those lines. That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.
