Disclaimer: I am writing this as a German Döner-Kebab fiend, not as a banh mi expert! Until a week ago I didn't even know that "Vietnamese Sandwiches" were a thing. Now I am a fan. It's the perfect Vietnamese-Czech alternative to Turkish-German Döner Kebap. It's a quick and dirty meal, but still nutritious, has got a touch of healthy green stuff in it and is overall just very, very tasty. We had the Bun Bo Nam Bo (100czk), a classic Vietnamese dish with rice noodles and beef and said Banh Mi sandwich (60czk): The first one on the menu. Both dishes were great. I haven't ever had an especially bad Bun Bo anywhere, but with this one even the quality of the meat was superb. Nicely done! The sandwich was a surprise, though. Just because it penetrated my taste buds in a way that normally only a Döner Kebab can. Awesome. The prices are excellent, I think, and I also saw people eating french fries. They looked amazing but since they weren't on the menu I forgot to ask what that side order is all about. Next time. Because there will be a next time, definitely! By the way: There are vegetarian options, too! Update: After a lot of very good experiences with the Banh Mi Special especially, I was going for the meatball sandwich today. Big mistake. Everything about the sandwich was superb, as usual - apart from the meatballs. Almost every one of the meatballs in my sandwich had something in it that was way too chewy and icky to be contained in a meatball. Sorry, have to deduct one star for the time being...

Excellent shrimp salad here with lots of tempting items on the menu. Really delicious food for a good price and the service was great!

[OVERALL] I have to say, I'm thoroughly surprised by how good this place is. The inside is pretty small and has room for about 10 people to eat. They only have tables to stand at, no seats. I think they only accept cash. The woman who took my order couldn't really speak English, but I managed to communicate my order after a little bit of awkward back and forth. This place is SUPER cheap too; I got a really filling sandwich for only around 110 CZK. [FOOD] Hoisin Beef Banh Mi: The menu works as kind of a "make-your-own", so you pick if you want rice or sandwich, you pick your meat, and you pick additional sauce/topping if you want. I got the hoisin beef, which was really really good - super flavorful and juicy. The meat came in the form of two patties. I'm usually not a fan of cilantro, but for some reason it tasted really good in the sandwich. If you like spice, I recommend getting the banh mi with chili, which adds a nice small kick. I also asked for kimchi in the sandwich, and the pickled taste really adds a nice flavor. Altogether, the banh mi was very flavorful, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion size was also pretty generous.

Pretty damn tasty. Fresh, flavorful, cheap, and filling. I've been here a few times. I wouldn't say it's "the best" banh mi I've had, nor is it your typical "traditional" bahm mi. But it certainly hits the spot. Atmosphere: Small interior, about 4 or 5 tables. It's really much more of a takeaway place but if you're like me and can't wait til you get home then there is plenty of seating available. They've recently redecorated with some new paintings on the wall, but personally I think they should deal with all the crumbs on the empty tables and strewn chairs first before adding decor. Despite the messy tables, it still seemed clean and hygienic. The two guys working there were very friendly and spoke English. Food: They no longer only serve sandwiches! They've added a whole bunch of other items like soups, salads, noodles, and rice. They even have a phorrito (pho ingredients all wrapped up burrito style). They strongly advertise their combo menu option which is any sandwich plus fries for 129kc. I love their original bahn mi (99kc) and their tohm kha soup (50kc). The bahn mi was delicious. Perfect temperature and marriage of flavors. Bread was nice and toasty. Really big and filling. Served in a little basket that while looked nice, was a bit difficult since the food paper didn't fit and kept popping out. The tohm kha soup was pretty good. Actually it's the best I've had in Prague. Other Thai places I've tried seem to focus more on the coconut flavor and tend to be a bit plain tasting. This one got the broth just right! Great balance of lemongrass, coconut, and spice. The ingredients though could be improved, in my opinion. It was very tasty. However the finely shredded chicken was a strange texture for me in the soup, I prefer slices. Also the mushrooms were too thin so you couldn't really get a delightful chewy bite. But the overall flavor was excellent- I am just extremely picky about my tohm kha. So if you're craving Vietnamese flavors- come to this little joint right off of Namesti Miru! Don't expect traditional bahn mis though, be open minded and enjoy the creative twists. This place also uses the delivery service Dame Jidlo.

AWSOME LITTLE GEM. Who knew that a Vietnamese restaurant in Prague would be so good. Was staying in the area in an Airbnb and I needed a quick lunch before heading to the airport. This popped up on my Yelp and it had truly five star reviews. I had to check it out. The food is great the prices are great there is limited seating so you may have to take away. Try it if you can this place is awesome.

Not the greatest Banh Mi ever, but very much enjoyed the two tofu Banh Mi's I ordered. Will definitely go again soon.

We walked past Nostress and after seeeing the crowd here, we knew this was the place to sit for a bit. The shear amount of the different pastries, open face sandwiches, breads and anything else you can think of is staggering with new additions coming out regularly. I am not sure what the items we ate were called but they certainly looked great and that alone was a reason to order them. I sharred one item with a cheese and almonds. It was amazing. My wife had some amazing-looking cookies. The coffee was delicious and hot. My only issue abroad is that the amount of coffee served is much smaller than back home. We are so used to getting large portions of everything. Another reviewer said that it had the look and feel of a French Bakery which was perfect. There is no question that if I am back in prague, Nostress is on the must-visit list.

How can you not try a place with a name like that? Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.
