My children wanted to play at "the dragon park" today, so why not! There was no one here, sporadically another family would drop by but nothing like summer. They said it was so nice to run around and play without having to wait for the slides or zip line! Restrooms are still open and soap dispensers have soap, good news. Sometimes you wonder if things will be operable during fall. Good to know they keep the park in great shape. Fun visit! read more

We've spent many hours here watching our grandsons' baseball games. Depending on the time of day, parking can be a but if a challenge, but we go around the back side near fields one and two and can usually grab a decent spot. Concessions are usually available and the popcorn is pretty good! Always a lot of activity and fun way to spend an afternoon. read more

Really awesome park! My favorite feature about this park is that the entire area is gated, so it's very easy to keep an eye on your kiddos. Plenty of areas around that keep kids of all ages entertained, even full grown adults like me (I see you zip-lines! Lol). Park is clean and well maintained. I was her for my nephew's birthday party and we rented out one of the pavilions for half a day-a great choice and easy cleanup. Kids had a blast! Will definitely be back. read more

12/21/22: overall 3.5 stars. This park has a few pretty picture spots, but is mostly baseball fields. It's near the tiny strip mall where Club Pilates is. There's no running trails, just sidewalks. Bear Creek Park is way better. But there's a playground there for the littles. There's free parking, and it's pretty clean and so are their bathrooms, which is why they get rounded up to 4 stars. read more

This is such a great park with so many things to do for kids ages 1-12. The best part of it is the ziplining! The splash pad and water area around the dragon is off for the season so we'll be sure to make it during the summer next year. This is one of the best parks in the area, and worth the drive for anyone in the surrounding areas (Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine, Bedford, etc.). There is SO MUCH to do - slides, swings, rock climbing, zip line, sand box, merry go round - pretty much everything you can think of. It has all the aspects of a traditional playground (think: monkey bars) but also a lot of more modern playground features (like spider nets and zip lines). There is ample shade from the trees for sitting parents, but as with most Texas parks, not enough shade over the play areas themselves. Too bad. Come early and bring water! The park boasts multiple very neat water features, but as of 5/19/2020, they are closed due to coronavirus. What additional threat the splashing of chlorinated water creates is a bit of a mystery, but we all know these COVID restrictions are sometimes quite arbitrary and often irrational. I'm thankful that the playground itself is open (as of 5/18) and crossing my fingers they turn on the water soon. The playground is ENTIRELY fenced in, which is a huge plus for those of us with littles. With so much to do, it can be easy to lose track for a second or two, and I find the enclosure extremely comforting. An older child can, of course, open the gate and get out, but it's a nice feature for parents of toddlers. The bathroom is located outside of the enclosure and there are plenty of stalls. I do have to mention that this morning when we went, multiple toilets were full to the top of poop (SO GROSS) and there was throw up at the bottom of one of the slides. I think these cleaning oversights must have to do with the park being closed until yesterday though. I've been here many times before and the bathrooms and play area was always very, very clean. Great place to take your kid to just run around and be crazy! The sprayground is a kids paradise of a constant water fountain of splash splash excitement. Lots of swings and slides everywhere. This place even has not just one but two zip lines! There are also three pavilions that can be rented out for kids birthdays. My only negative comment is that the slides can be almost molten lava hot, due to it being well, plastic. Other than that this place is great to take your kid too! read more

OK park. It's more of a sports park, with sports fields (baseball, volleyball, tennis, in-line hockey. I prefer parks with trees and scenic walking paths (with trees), but still, this is a nice park for what it offers. It is also close, walkable close, to several food options. Rita's Italian Ice, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Sushi Sam, Jersey Mike's, Nekter Juice Bar, and Arezzo Italian Street Food to name a few. There's also a Starbucks close, if you need some caffeine. And a Tom Thumb for picnic supplies. Apparent;y big improvements are in the works. Large sand pit, splash pad, smaller splash pool (dragon that "breaths water" from it's nose), zip line, music area, cave sitting areas, playground, infant swings, regular swings, and handicap swings, two rope play structures and Three pavilions that you can rent for parties. The whole place is enclosed. The Restrooms are nearby but not inside the gated area (about 30 steps from the gates). This park is awesome and have quite a lot for the younger kids. read more

Great playground that is fenced in with only one entrance/exit. There are areas for younger kids as well as older ones. The splash pad and the Dragon river were huge hits with mini-pirate - and everyone else there on a 90+ degree day. Pro tip: there are fire ants under the double slide on the southwest side of the playground. The bastards got my foot. The zip lines are a lot of fun but the younger kids will need assistance with them, and the huge rope jungle gym was pretty impressive. The older kids seem to enjoy it. What to bring: plenty of water, a snack, a change of clothes, and a bag for wet clothes. read more

The City of Southlake has finally remodeled and added new attractions to this park. My favorite part was the fenced in park area. There are so many unique features including zip lines, a jungle gym, a huge robe structure kids can climb, an artificial rock wall, swings and more. Aside from the enclosed play area mentioned above, there are countless tennis courts and baseball fields. Check it out! You won't be disappointed. read more

Great park. I love that it has both dry and water features. It's got plenty of room to run around and explore. My only star subtraction was that it felt like there really wasn't enough for kids under 5 to do. Most of the park was geared towards big kids. Our first visit with the little one was great. It so much playground to play and I'm sure we'll be back visiting this park more frequently. We decided to go here after grabbing snowballs on Easter Sunday and I must admit I had just as much fun as my daughter. When she gets a little bigger she definitely have way more fun. But I love how it's set for all ages. There were little babies and college kids so it's really just a family scene and super cute! read more

Since I've officially reached the ever so reluctant stage in my life where I may be able to more accurately review a local playground than a local dive bar. Whatever. On that note, this is the BEST playground. The fence is high enough to contain even the most unruly of toddlers, there are just enough water features to make even the Texas heat bearable, the sand box is clean, there are plenty of shaded areas for parents, and a clean bathroom. My son was AMAZED by the dragon splash pad. I mean who wouldn't want to splash around in several inches of water around a potentially fire breathing dragon?! For real though this is a great place to take the kids and wear them out before the parents take a well deserved shopping trip to the SouthLake town center. And if an adult beverage is needed afterwards, go ahead, you've earned it mom ;) read more

Love this park!! Huge gated play area and splash pad! Great for toddlers that are more afraid of spraying water. The dragon sprays water from its nose (about ankle height) and it trickles down a little river that is "safe" for little splashers. :) There is also a second splash pad for older kids. The park is kept very clean as well as the large restroom facilities that are close to the playground. read more

This park is very fun! It's completely fenced in so it's safe for the kids to run and do their thing without having to worry too much. There are two awesome zip lines (yes I tried it out! haha) and I love the design of the place and how they build it into the land- they left trees and landscaped and it's just a beautiful place to hang out! We will definitely be back. I don't know that I will want to come when the water feature is turned on because those are not my favorite, but otherwise, it's awesome! read more

This is literally the coolest park I have ever been to. It has EVERYTHING!! It was a warm day when I went, so my kids spent a ton of time at the splash pad. Part of the splash pad is a dragon that mists water out of its nose. My son LOVED this. Some of the perks of this park are that it is completely gated (safe), it includes a sandbox, splash pad, swings (handicap accessible), zip line, play ground, covered picnic area, caves and a music area. I was literally so amazed by how cool it was, I ended up spending over two hours there with my kids. Seriously guys, this park is the best. If you are debating going, it is worth the drive, just go. This park is pretty awesome. Lots of shade trees and a splash pad. Took kids here and it was nearly 100 degrees. When ever we got hot we would run through splash pad to cool off they'd continue to play and I'd sit back in the shade. (Plenty of drinking water breaks as well so worry). They have onsite drinking fountains but I recommend bringing in your own water as we did. Dragon themed like everything else in southlake but they did a good job. read more

We have two youngsters so a good park is a must. Bicentennial does not disappoint. After relocating from California, our realtor recommended checking out the new playground. Well we packed everyone up and drove over and the kids started ohhhing and ahhhhing from the back seat and we weren't even out of the car. As soon as we walked in the fenced in playground I was the crazy mom running around after my kids took off in two different directions. There are so few parks that are anything more than play areas for 3-4 year old kids. Most park have awful plastic slides that kids can't enjoy past the age of 3. This park really tries to incorporate a little bit of everything.. You have the ultra safe for the younger kids and you have a few items like the rope structure that kids that are 8, 9, or 10 can enjoy. And yeah, the zipline is far superior to what you'll find at most parks as well. read more

This park would get 5 stars if it had a liiiiiittle more shade at the playground. I have never taken my daughter on the weekends, so I can't vouche for those days. Based on the baseball fields though, I'm guessing it's packed. We go during the week... I try to go before lunch time to avoid the housewife crowd, even though I, myself, am a housewife. These ladies are just... different. And this is coming from a girl who grew up on Orange County CA. Good luck starting conversations with any of them. Especially if you haven't done your hair, makeup, spray tan and arent wearing lululemon. If I talk to anyone it's usually Nannies. Haha. But the park is rad! read more
