A very nicely developed and popular park in Coppell - it's apparent that the city really invested in this park with several beautiful pavilions, multiple sculptures, playgrounds, footbridges, landscaping, restrooms, lakeside platforms/decks, and nature trails. This park also connects to a longer greenway trail. There is something for everyone to enjoy at this park. The Biggest Perk: The lighted trails are open until 10pm for late-night exercise.

AB...you have really stepped it up over the YEARS!! In honor of Earth Day it is time for an update. This is one park that I will always and forever be a fan of. Fast forward from my last review in 2014 to now, the city of Coppell has really made sure that its residents fully enjoy the beauty of this park. It spreads out for miles and miles so whether you are a hiker, biker, rollerblader or runner you will get in a SOLID workout here. There are water fountains spread out throughout as well as air conditioned restrooms. They have a pavilion if you want to picnic and this area is also home to Camp Gladiator as well as other outdoor bootcamps. So be resourceful and look it up online if you want to jump in on some fun. Pretty much any time of day at this park you will find something going on. And not to be missed are the sunrises and/or sunsets that will take your breath away. As you can see I could write a four page letter with my adoration for AB but I will stop right here. Cheers to spring time and getting out more in the sunshine!!

This is a great park for exercise, walking and running and it's also very kid friendly. I think this walking and jogging trail is excellent for beginners as there are lots of ways to loop through so someone could easily do half a mile or 5 just depending on the goals of the workout. Today the trails were a bit flooded but with all of the rain I don't see how it could be helped. There is lots of wildlife, a frisbee golf course, sand volleyball and so much more.

This playground is amazing. It's huge and it has everything you could ever want - swings, sandbox, climbing web, large small child area, walking trail around playground, and only one entrance in and out. I wish I lived closer - we'd be here ALL the time! Oh! And it's almost completely shaded! Best park ever.

Lots of paved trail to run on, great looking park, overall an amazing park to walk around, run, bike, or just chill. There are quite a few benches and a main pavilion, bridges, ponds, and it's located right next to the CORE. I sometimes run through Andy Brown in the morning and it's really nice. Bring your kids, your pets, your family and friends and enjoy a nice morning or afternoon at the park - weather permitting of course.

Great park fork kids. Huge walking trial. Pavilion and tables for lunch! Plenty of grassy grounds for sports activities!

We had a great time with the kids (ages 3 & 5) at Andy Brown Park (East). The playground looks like a giant castle and is very large. There are lots of great, unique climbing elements for the kids to explore. There are also several shaded picnic tables that were clean and a great spot for lunch.

This park is amazing super awesome playground. The trails look beautiful and well maintained. Great community center with water park in the summer huge work out room. Best park I have ever been to.

My dad helped install the original "Kid Kountry" playground at Andy Brown Park in '92. My brother was 2 and I was 4 at the time of installation. When the playground was completed, each family could bring their kids up and have their handprints imprinted on a brick. Today, I was able to take my 2 year old niece to the same park and show her her 2 year old dada's handprint. It was an extremely special memory for me and I was so happy to see they were still there. We took a cute picture of her putting her hand in her dada's hand and you can see so much of my brother in her in it. Thank you guys for rebuilding it to last another 50+ years and keeping the original builders kids handprints along the sidewalk.

This is an amazing park for Coppell residents. There is something to do for everyone. The east side of the park has three ponds with jogging trails and the west side has soccer fields.

I have been taking yoga classes on Monday and Wednesday morning which makes such a difference in my overall health and stress. The instructor is so wonderful and really makes the class enjoyable. The only thing I don't like is that some people come and go right in the middle of the class. I understand running a few minutes late (been there!) but when it's an hour class and you leave 30 minutes in that's weird. Plus if you are then have all your stuff outside in a locker so you don't disturb everyone. Sorry that's a side rant ;) My kid has been doing swimming lessons here for about six months and that has been great as well. Again, all of the instructors are so warm and welcoming. The pricing for the core is a little odd. It's $4 a day so you have to go quite a bit. We did the math and it's $500 for a family, which is 125 individual visits. For a family of 4 you'd have to each go 3 times a month for it to be worth it. Since I'm doing the classes twice a week it works for our family, but if you go only once a week it actually may be more cost effective to just pay for each class. I would recommend going for a couple months and then buy a membership if you make it a regular habit. All in all it's a great facility that's well managed and super clean. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. If you like this sort of thing, there are a variety of channels on simultaneously across several wall-mounted TVs and the tuned channels are labeled under the TV itself. Once you look at the prices for an annual membership here (which I think is currently $35) it seems crazy that anyone would pay for a gym membership anywhere else! In the last three months I've taken a couple of different classes. I started with the crazy sounding cycleates, which was half pilates and half spin class. Turns out, I'm more into the pilates half of that equation so I've been taking pilates classes ever since. The instructor plays great music, the people are super friendly, and they provide everything you need as far as mats, weights, etc. I'm a bit of a germophobe, so I bring my own mat. The great thing is that classes are so reasonably priced! You can try out any class if you just want to stop in - I think prices for a single class range from $2 to $8, but you can find out detailed info about drop in prices on the Grapevine website. They have been super flexible with me about trying different levels and figuring out which class works best for me without charging me any extra. I'm a total cheapskate about paying for exercise classes and this is finally an option that is in my budget and doesn't make me feel like I'm being robbed blind. Is it a community center? Yes. Does it have the fancy amenities you would find at one of the chain gyms? No. So if you like working out in luxe surroundings, you probably won't be thrilled. Which is a plus for me since I have two teenagers. The only thing I don't care for is when I am jogging in the indoor track parents allow their little ones to play ahead and not being watched.
