If you're deciding between wine tasting in Paso Robles or Edna Valley, make sure Biddle Ranch in Edna Valley is on your list. The atmosphere is beautiful, the wine is outstanding, and the overall experience feels relaxed, authentic, and unpretentious. We visited with a group of 11, and Paige did an incredible job taking care of us. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made each tasting engaging by sharing interesting background and tasting notes for every wine. Her attentiveness and professionalism helped make the experience memorable for everyone in our group. A huge thank you to Paige and the Biddle Ranch team. We had an amazing time and will absolutely be back!

My husband and I went to a wedding here. The grounds were beautiful and the wines we tasted were very flavorful. Very nice place for a wedding.

Super cute tasting room. The olive trees are a pleasant touch. Open outdoor eating with plenty of space to mingle. Unfortunately we walked in and were not even acknowledged. I know it was right before closing (15 mins), but any sort of acknowledgement and communication would've been appreciated. To me, this was a display of the way they treat their patrons; hence, the reason why I would never return.

We had a lovely wine tasting experience here. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to make one pretty last minute on a weekend in July. $25 a flight, waived with 2 bottle purchase. I enjoyed the whole flight. I loved the outdoor area. There's so many wineries to choose from in this area, but I did think this one stood out with all the beautiful olive trees providing shade. It felt comfortable even on a hot day. (they don't have heat lamps for colder weather though). They do have indoor tasting area, but it is standing only. They are dog and kid friendly. They offer a charcuterie board as well which we didn't get to try. Sometimes they run out I had read, but they do allow outside food which is also a plus I also appreciated that they were fast to respond on Yelp with my messages/questions

Perfect little winery in town and easy to get to from SLO. We tried some beautiful Pinot Grigio's, chardonnays and a Pinot noir. Service was super friendly and they brought our 4 wines to taste in about a 45 minute time span. They were out of their charcuterie board so i cannot tell you about the food. A very beautiful winery in an amazingly gorgeous setting with solid wine.

Very nice ambiance! Outdoor seating venue was beautiful and well kept. Full of comfortable and plush seats this tasting experience is definitely luxurious and a tranquil time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The landscape is full of olive trees and of course vineyards absolutely breathtaking. Our party of 4 made reservations for a saturday afternoon roughly a week in advance. Since we had a friend from out of town join us we ran a bit late but the staff was able to accommodated us, and start out tasting a bit later. The website told us outside foods/snacks were allowed which is always nice. Of course our party came well prepared with a whole line up of pretty snacks and treats! Definitely worth the trip to trader joes and making a beautiful spread. The tasting experience itself came with 5 wines, 2 whites and 3 reds with the Chardonnay coming from the grapes grown on site. Our tasting came i at $25 which I believe is becoming the new norm for tastings in SLO. Another fun aspect was the Pinot Grigio served at Biddle Ranch is in collaboration with a local non profit in SLO, talk about supporting the right businesses! For each wine our server came to introduce the history and flavor profile and gave us a pour. I really enjoyed this presentation over having the whole tasting menu set up upon being seated. Very well paced and informative. Overall, I had a great time, each tasting was unique and quite tasty. Very light and fruity flavors. Would highly recommend this spot if you're considering a wine tasting in Edna Valley.

We made reservations to go to this winery as we haven't been there previously. Ian was our server, and he was excellent very friendly and informative. We tasted five wines and my husband switched out one of the Whites for Syrah, which we ended up liking the best. The $25 tasting is waived if you buy two bottles which we did. I also like their Pinot Grigio and even their Chardonnay and I'm usually not a Chardonnay person. Definitely will go back.

No food bought Brought our own charcuterie plate to enjoy the wine. The young lady who poured our wine was fun and provided useful information about the varietals being poured. The venue was perfect for a family outing. Thank you for a nice Saturday lunch experience.

I came to Biddle for a wine tasting and had an amazing time! Making a reservation is easy and everyone working here is beyond nice. They are also knowledgeable about the wine & property. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area for our tasting. The couch/chairs and very comfy and well spaced out for privacy. The flight was perfect with a variation of wines, all delicious. Ended up buying 3 bottles and can't wait to come back again. Biddle waives your tasting fee if you purchase 2 bottles. The snack box was also extremely appetizing. This winery is dog friendly and was great bringing our pup along.

If you're looking for a laid back wine tasting experience where you can relax in the shade of trees with views of vineyards and mountains/hills of SLO, Biddle Ranch is the place. My favorite wine is the Pinot Noir, but you can't go wrong. The staff has always been very kind. Be sure to make a reservation to ensure you get a seat!

The grounds are amazing and the best part was seeing a ton of peacocks roaming around. Unfortunately, on my visit none of them were fanning their feathers. Hopefully next time! They also have an Air BnB on site that you can stay at. It looked really nice! There's plenty of seating in the courtyard area and you're allowed to bring your own food. We just came for a flight tasting, which is only $20 here. The nice part about the flight is that you also have the option to try ciders. They give you casino like chips here to use for each tasting. Great way to keep track! The reason for the three star rating is the lack of customer service. When I go to a winery, I expect the person pouring the wine to explain each one that I'm tasting. There was no explanation at all. Maybe I should of asked, but it was odd for a winery not to do that. The gentleman that poured didn't look too happy to be there either. I cringed each time I had to walk up to get my next pour. He barely said two words to me and I just got the feeling he was mad or upset about something. I wish I would have gotten his name! The girl that helped in the beginning was kind, but she also never explained each pour. Just a weird interaction overall. Would I return here? Yes! I loved the grounds and the peacocks. The wine was decent and I would like to try the ciders next time, but I'll probably go inside the store where they were also pouring wines. Hopefully they know what they're doing! Overall, a great spot to check out and next time I will make it a point to ask for a description of each pour even though I shouldn't have to.
