They not only assisted me in moving it to my basement at a very reasonable cost but also taught me how to perform regular maintenance. It's wonderful to have options such as an affordable store like Big 5. We come here often and they've helped us find the best inflatable paddle boards, life jackets, swim suits and rash guards, running shoes, a bike pump and a really nice basketball. The staff has always been helpful and nice. Someone tended to the athletic shoes dept who actually knew what they were talking about. Honestly, this is more than I expected from an affordable sports store. We are glad they are there and will continue to support them when we don't need the high end sports equipment.

THE SETUP Mom was convinced that her sister needed some new stuff in her wardrobe to make her a bit more hip, and give her clothes a much needed *updating*. Aunt Suzanne's tennis shoes (an old OLD pair of Keds) had become absolutely trashed and Big 5 Sporting Goods featured an inventory of great shoes in this area for us to check. Terrible honor system here. My kid got some cash from his grandma to pick out a toy & we go to…read moretarget he finds a lego toy he wanted. We go to checkout and the price doesn't reflect on what they were advertising it for so we call for assistance at self checkout with an older lady named Patty. Patty asks us what the item was priced at and we tell her $10. She then rolls her eyes and says "$10 ?" Like a 'yeah, okay' response. She says she'll need to verify the price but then says she can't leave the checkout and tells us her supervisor says the price it rang up as was correct. I go back & take a picture of the item and shelf because Patty basically just called me a liar & go to self checkout to see someone named Mia. Mia checks the item for us and sees that the price isn't matching up either and I show her the picture I took of the fully stocked shelf of the toy & price. Mia tells me that someone stocked the toy under the wrong tag and that the price is listed for an 'LOL' toy that isn't even there. She didn't honor her advertised price & I decide to take my business elsewhere after being treated poorly. I could've paid the difference for my child but I'd rather take my family & business elsewhere
