Fat Al, I mean big Dave, or fat Dave, whatever their fraudulent business name is, deserve no stars, in fact every star they have ever received is highly inflated &/or mislead, & should be revoked. They are thieves. Don't get your car towed, especially if it's because you were unable to stand up for yourself & your right because you were being detained, which are the specific group of people especially targeted by fat Al. Your car will be towed, your personal possessions stolen, then big Dave & his group of thugs, I mean hired criminal accomplices, I mean staff, work together to deceive & delay all of the legal rights of the property owner to legally retrieve their vehicle, until rates & fees are so high you can no longer afford it. All this to stall & delay enough time so that they then can file for an abandoned vehicle tittle, dismissing the repeated attempts by the owner to retrieve their vehicle as if this person never existed or made any real contact with them. Tu-che, fat Al is now $4000-$5000 richer, after illigaly taken possession & claimed ownership of a Chevy Tahoe, using only statements & false claims with no other show of documented proof of rights to hold this vehicle hostage. Not to mention if you so happen to have another $5000 worth of tools in your car, that's just a fat Dave bonus. They are not a business, they are a group of people working together to commit crimes, aka a gang, or a group of organized crime members. The business should be immediately shut down, everyone arrested, & charged under the coca act. I suggest they also be audited & all profit which was accumulated under this illegal yet somehow made legal act of theft tabulated. How much money exactly does fat Man make on a yearly basis from stolen cars? Cars which were not abandoned, cars which were legal property of an individual left powerless & voiceless to go against fat Dave. I don't understand how I was not being heard, nor given the chance to be heard, & all my claims ignored & dismissed, & bluntly turned aside. How did fat Dave manage to illigaly hold my car so that he was then able to file an abandoned vehicle title, claiming it as his, then sell it for a profit, while never once submitting a single shred of evidence to support fat Dave's claims giving him rights to hold my vehicle? A tittle which he filed for the very next day after I finally managed & was able to convince a highway patrolman to please conduct a vin inspection on my vehicle in hopes that this would then finally release my car from fat Al. The same vin inspection which I was twice denied & rejected without valid reasons supporting my denial, which gave fat Al several more days needed to be able to file for & falsely claim his rights to my non-abandoned vehicle. My car was stolen from right under me & there was nothing I could do about it, in spite of countless hours devoted to reading & learning as much as I could to try to figure out how to legally, truthfully, & honestly get my car out. I was even advised by the records staff & the sheriffs staff to go read & learn "the Wyoming codes of statutes" & discover supporting evidence showing how it was that I felt that I was being wronged, as well as to extrapolate how a POA, weather from CO or WY are not valid documents. I received minimal help by government staff, but instead was met with hard walls which I was constantly trying to overcome. This was a group effort of obstacles & barriers imposed by Big Al, police department, sheriff's department, & staff to steal one car. How many $4000 to $5000 cars a month do they steal? How many does that amount to in one year? Honestly this blows my mind. I don't know what is going on. I cannot explain what happened to allow this to take place. What are the failures here? There is no lack of documented paperwork, audio, & detailed record keeping of the absurdity that exists as to how exactly this was allowed to come to fruition in spite of their very obvious misconduct. Paperwork which should have been at least looked at, verified, & investigated to it's legitimacy & validity, but were not. Audio, which clearly proves fat Bastard & his criminals are absolute liars & thieves were not heard. Then to top it all off, cooperation given by law enforcement, police & the sheriffs office, including office staff, to make this whole enterprise flow smoothly. Having said this, here is a suggestion for Google, please allow uploads of voice files. How did this happen? This might be one of the many causes behind why today's society is on a downward free fall toward becoming this monstrous beast devoid of ethics, morality, empathy, & compassion. In the last month I had two incidents where I required road side service. Both times I had the opportunity of working with Big Al's Towing. On the first incident, I need a tire changed at my residence. I couldn't get the spare tire down so I called for road side assistance. After I placed my call with the insurance company, I received a call from Big Al's within two minutes. They asked the problems so they could insure that they sent the proper service driver with the appropriate tools. They informed me that someone would be there in 25 minutes (I live 20 miles outside of town) and they were. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the speed of the driver. The problem was immediately identified and my tire was changed within 15 minutes of arrival. I was even able to make it for the appointment I was headed to when I realized I had a flat tire. On the next incident, my husband and I were traveling back to Cheyenne from Colorado. About 35 miles outside of Cheyenne our truck broke down. I called my insurance company and again received a call within 2 minutes from Big Al's. We let them know the issues and within 10 minutes had a driver there to pick us up. We were amazed. This driver was also very professional and efficient. We had our vehicle towed to the shop and were home by dinner. Also, while visiting with the tow driver, he was very positive about the ownership of the company and expressed his love for working for such an amazing place. I absolutely will never call another company for my towing needs/roadside needs. This company's organization and efficiency give it an A+ in my book. We were traveling to Colorado from Montana and got a nail in my tire. I called and was greeted by a professional dispatcher who told me approximately how much it would cost for someone to come out and get my tire changed for me (I was unable to get 2 lug nuts loosened). She also assisted me sharing my location with her so she could dispatch someone quickly to my location. I got a call a few minutes later from the driver asking if my children and I were safe and not in a precarious situation on the interstate. I told him I was able to get safely off the interstate. I was approximately 25 miles out and he got there very quickly and got my tire changed very quickly and got air in my spare tire and gave me instructions on where I could check the tire pressure down the road to ensure there were no issues with the spare tire (as the spare tire was low when he put it on). overall it was a great experience. read more

*1/5 stars - OUTRAGEOUS OVERCHARGING!* I recently had the misfortune of using Big Al's Towing and Recovery and was appalled by their blatant price gouging. During the evening, I had my truck towed a mere 4.6 miles, and the cost was a staggering $200! This is nothing short of ridiculous. The lack of transparency and fairness in their pricing is unacceptable. It's clear they're taking advantage of people's vulnerability when they need emergency services. I demand better from the companies I do business with. *Avoid Big Al's Towing and Recovery at all costs!* Their greed and disregard for customer well-being are not worth the convenience they provide. Look elsewhere for towing services, and don't get taken for a ride like I did. *UPDATE:* If you're in a bind and need towing, research local options and get quotes before making a decision. Our RV gave out on us on our way up toward Curt Gowdy and needed to be towed out. We were recommended to them by the auto shop and I made sure my roadside service got them. I am thankful for them. Our driver was the best, I apologize as I just remember it started with a D. He was so kind and thoughtful. As two females he made sure we were comfortable the whole time. He checked in us to make sure we were ok as he hooked the RV up and when we were in his truck he opened our doors and made sure we comfortable as we waited until he got us unhooked at the shop. I enjoyed talking to him on the way to the shop and he educated me about the weather and common issues he runs into like wind and steep grades going toward Laramie to be careful of. All was appreciated as this is the first time traveling through WY. Overall a great experience and it easier a lot of our worries. read more

We were stranded on the side of I-80 for three and half hours with a flat tire and no spare (a rental car). We couldn't find anyone to help us on a Sunday except for Big Al's. We were an hour and a half from Cheyenne but they came to help us an hour and a half later. They were efficient, kind, and fair. Scott was our first driver - the long haul driver and made the trip pleasant and easy for two stressed out people! Monday morning our car needed to be towed to a tire center. Chase was our second driver and again we had the very best service we could ask for. Chase stayed with us until everything was settled with the tire and the fees for the insurance company. Absolutely amazing service from the beginning to the end. Alex was awesome and so helpful, I used my roadside service and Big Al's is who my insurance sent out to pick up my daughter's car for me. I could not have asked for a better company. I will use them every time and tell everyone about them and If your looking for a tow or other services that they offer look no further. These are the people you need to call FORSURE. The whole process was quick, William the driver was a wonderful guy explained everything and gave me options on if I wanted it taken to their shop to fix it or to my home. Our car broke down Saturday evening about 14 miles south of Cheyenne on our way to Billings, Mt and it took more time to call roadside assistance through Chrysler than it did once they dispatched Big Al's to come get us. The driver was so kind and patient and helpful. My daughter and I were very upset and he helped us get our car to the dodge dealership so it would get looked at and repaired when they opened. He took us to our hotel to unload our things from the car and gave us suggestions on how to get a rental car, taxi for dinner that night and just really took the time to see that we were going to be ok. Very comforting in a very scary situation traveling cross-country. Would HIGHLY recommend this tow service to anyone! read more

Couldn't be happier. Scott arrived really quickly and got my car loaded without issue. He explained all my options and even tried to help us troubleshoot the issue to see what kind of service we might be looking at. Offered to make the tow cheaper by letting us drive it to the mechanic ourselves when it miraculously started, but we let him take it and complete the job as planned since it was covered by insurance and the car has a reputation for dying mid drive. Very Friendly and very helpful - wouldn't hesitate to come back here next time my problem child of a car needs help! We found Big Al's through AAA. AAA couldn't find anyone to take the tow call nearby (took AAA 3 hrs to find Big Al's. Once Big Al's took the call they were great about communicating with us and took us 40 miles from Laramie, WY to Colorado at 4 in the morning when no one else would. After 5 hrs in a very cold car we were very thankful for the tow and Dave was great. He had already been working a long time when he picked us up and was getting back on the road for the rest of the day. I have had a similar issue before with tow companies when they can't find drivers so I feel like Dave is one of those guys that accepts calls when others might not. I have never had to call a tow company before, and thank GOD I made the right pick on calling Big Al's towing. My husband and I work 4 jobs between us and only have the one vehicle. When I got up to leave for work this morning and it wouldn't start I almost started crying. Luckily, there are still people out there who know what they are doing in their jobs and actually do it. AAA of Colorado and their towing dispatch do not have the professionalism to assist their customers. We were stranded in Lakewood, Colorado for a day and a half because of their lack of professionalism. We finally insisted on being serviced by AAA-Wyoming and Big Al's Towing and recovery. Once our claim was submitted we had a call back from Big Al's within 20 minutes. They provided us service on Mother's Day and we are forever grateful. The tow drive Will helped put us at ease. Oh, in the process of waiting on AAA - Colorado someone tried to steal our truck so we have additional damage to deal with now. read more

Upon driving over a large piece of metal on I 25 on 09/04/2026, both rear tires blew out. I was stranded between Casper WY and CO Springs CO. Big Al's came to the rescue. Will C. was sent out, the between him and Ali, who was back in the office, they got me and my car where I needed to be. Things were a bit rough at first due to my not having any service on my phone, but Will cheerfully helped me out with that.
