I scheduled an appointment in February for March 13 at 9am. I turned my car in before 9. Yesterday's 100+mph winds damaged a lot of cars. I waited several hours for a 30-2hr appointment to be over and done with. We called the office and the sales department told us they are super busy working on cars from the wind yesterday. When we got sent over to service department no one answered and we calles about 5 times. Makes me so mad that my appointment was not top priority. The people that had their cars damaged yesterday should have waited their turn. It was a simple recall fix that wasn't a long repair. I went down to check on my car and they said that they were backed up from yesterdays mess and they haven't even started on my car. They said it would be ready Monday. In other words they were going to keep my car until Monday and they were not going to call me. Won't be coming back again.​​ Made an appointment for Fort Collins and they heard the story and got us in. read more

Literately the worst of the worst service center and customer service you can get. I realize it's 2022 and customer service isn't top tier anywhere, anymore, but when I tell you to stay far, far away from this place, do yourself a service and just drive to the Fort Collins Kia. Marty is absolutely terrible to work with. He gives a constant run around, never returns calls when he says he will, and you can never get anything accomplished unless you consistently stay on them or go to a hire up and make a complaint. I've bought a few cars from there and have had a positive experience every time. I did have an issue once with the service department trying to make me spend a couple hundred dollars on a test for my car when I clearly knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I told the service guy that as well but he still tried to scam me. The car had had the same issue before so it should not have been hard diagnosing it. The manager got wind of what happened and the guy that tried to scam me had to call me and apologize. As a result, they not only fixed my car at no cost to me, the dealership also detailed it and filled my car up with gas to make it up to me what the guy tried to do. And, yes I was right about what was wrong with the car. I've not had any problems since. It mattered to me that they owned what happened, corrected it and made it up to me. We came to Kia of Cheyenne to get a wheel and tire replaced after getting blown off for over three weeks by Peak Kia North. The service seemed promising at first, but when we showed up for our appointment, the parts/service employee told me, "Your wife told me the wrong tire size, so we ordered the wrong tires. You'll have to reschedule and come back." My wife afterwards told me that she walked out to our car and read the tire size off the tire to this specific employee, so this really seems like an excuse to not take responsibility for her mistake. Mistakes happen and are forgiveable. Pushing the blame to another person is not. She told me we'd get a call back when the tires arrived, and we'd set another appointment. I got a call, set up an appointment, then had to reschedule. When I called the next day to reschedule, I was told by a different employee that my appointment was not on their calender, but to just bring the car in in the after my wife got off school and they'd take care of us. When my wife went in for our second appointment, she was told that the appointment was never made, they didn't have time to get us in, and that our account was closed. This was very frustrating as we had been driving on a spare tire (thankfully not a donut) for over a month due to Kia dealerships repeatedly dropping the ball and forgetting about us. My wife was told by a male service writer that she'd get a call later in the week about when to come back and finally get the work done. We never received a call! She submitted another service request online explaining her frustration with the situation. She got a call from the service manager, who was very apologetic and helpful and got us scheduled to finally come in. I brought the car in, and the work got done on 7/14. Our initial appointment was on 6/23. Three weeks to order a wheel and tire, set an appointment, and do the work. I don't know where or why the communication breakdown occurred, but it made for a very frustrating experience with another Kia service department. We are definitely finding a different mechanic for future services. read more

My cruise control and other menus buttons weren't working. I had taken it in originally and they said they could not figure out what was wrong with it. I came in and Marty took it upon himself to order parts within a day and make sure I was able to leave in my trip with cruise control fixed. He communicated with me as things came up and was very generous with not making me pay for the fix because of a small mistakes on their end. I just bought a k5 from Kia of Cheyenne and I am so happy. They gave me a great value for the trade-in on my current vehicle, they were not pushy, rude, or cheesy like most car dealers are. I had to order this vehicle, because of the current shortage on vehicles. They let me know as soon as it came in, it was quick and painless getting all the paperwork filled out, and everyone there was very nice to me. I even left my mom's key and my garage door opener in my vehicle, and they offered to mail it to me since I don't live in Wyoming. Overall, I highly recommend this dealership, they don't mark up the MSRP like all these other dealerships are doing, and they are very fair. I will send anyone I know looking for a car to this dealership. Totally worth the 90 minute drive from Colorado honestly. read more

Kia of Cheyenne was worth the drive all the way from Sheridan. For my part, I knew exactly what car and price I wanted (well under MSRP), as well as exactly what I wanted for my trade-in. They made all of it happen for me. I drove down on a Wednesday and was in and out with my new vehicle in less than an hour. It would have been much sooner but my bank was moving slowly. I worked with Ed Peterson over the phone and he was great but wasn't available the day that I actually came down from Sheridan (last minute on my part, not his fault) so Ed Jones stepped in and took care of everything. I wouldn't call this a budget operation at all but there's nothing pretentious or flashy here. Just regular guys selling great cars. Cat won't even go 60 from our trip to sterling. aksed about loaner vehicles for over a week and they keep saying they should have another one in within a week.first off why are there only THREE loaner vehicles. KIA is garbage for that fr. and only having only TWO service members ?? thats ridiculous idk how you expect two people to get all their work done day in and day out. also i was on hold for a total of 35 minutes from the multiple times i had to call to ask about a loaner vehicle they apparently don't have. read more

I loved my car buying experience with Kia of Cheyenne. I went in to get a VIN inspection. While I was waiting, I wanted to look at and test drive a car. I spoke with Jay and discussed potential selling my old car and buying a Sportage SX. There was no pressure and great communication and conversations. Considering my car was paid for and all the unsure covid-19 thoughts, I needed time to think.Two days later I came back and Jay helped me with getting the whole team to help me get in this wonderful car. I say this because I came from a Lexus but this not only met my criteria but exceeded the quality I was used to. Jay was there to help me after my purchase to give me a training on all the new functions my Sportage has to make sure I was comfortable using it. The service department at kia is horrible. Dropped off a 15 Sorento for an 8 A.M. appointment on 4/08/2022. Dropped it of before noon on 4/07/2022 and my wife was told it would be prepped and ready for repair the next morning. By 11 A.M on 04/08/2022 the car had not been touched. We live 80 miles away, round trip (gas is 3.94 per gallon). After several phone calls to Kia of Cheyenne and corporate Kia, both Will and Marty LIED to their boss and corporate about the time the Kia was dropped off. If you want to buy one, check Fort Collins or Greeley reviews for your warranty work before buying. We have been fighting this A.C. problem since mid 2021. Either parts not available from Kia (really a 6 year old car, no A.C. hose) or "we" ordered the wrong part. Told twice it would be done by the end of the day. No phone calls, we had to call them. They close at 6 p.m., we live 40 minutes away. Can't wait for a phone call at 5:30 P.M. on a Friday when the service department is closed on the weekends. Unfortunately this is my first one star rating of a business. This dealership will get you a Kia but if you plan on working with them after you get your car don't hold your breath. Their customer service after the buy is horrible. The tire on my wife's Kia keeps going low and she has brought it in to get it checked out just to be told there's nothing wrong with it even though she told him that we have to fill it up every few days. He had the nerve to say that there's products to help stop the leak (fix a flat) which is not a permanent solution. Then yesterday someone crashed into my wife and ran and she wanted to get the car towed to Kia to get it checked out for damage internally. They said they didn't want it towed there and were no help at all. To wrap things up if you're looking to get a Kia take the extra 30 mins to go to Colorado and check them out. read more

Service/maintenance department: Our Kia was running fine with no indication of problems. We received a recall notice and took the car in for those repairs. We are now on our 5th trip there for the same issues! The first time was for the original recall issues. The second time was because there were issues with all of the parts that were on recall. We were given a time to bring the car in. After having the car all day, we were told they didn't have time to get to it and to bring it back. Then, we were told we would need to pay for those repairs. We said no, since all issues are related to the recalls. They then had to order parts and we had to return. We went in 2 more times for those repairs. On the 5th visit, at 4pm they said it would be done in an hour. We went in the next day at noon, and were told it would now be several more hours, and, we would have to come back again for a part that had to be re-ordered! When I complained about all of this to the supervisor, he did give us a loaner car and kept our car for 2 more days. But, he proceeded to tell us how many great reviews they have received in the past and showed me a cake they just received for excellent service. Maybe others received great service, but 5 visits in 4 weeks, being told we would have to pay for things that were part of a recall, on top of constant lip service, doesn't prove great service to me. read more

Went to Kia of Cheynne and was looking to but a new car, i wanted the new sportage or sorento the man i spoke her called himself "Cowboy" something and promised to get me what i wanted. The one i was looking at was 25,000. WIth a credit score of a high 700 he said i should try to get into a newer model. Told him to see what he could do. A week went by and no call back, no response when i called. Two weeks later i started to recieve denial letters for loans listed at 30,000-35,000 dollars. Just checked my credit score, it was ran 32 times to many different banks! Horrible customer service... and cost me years and years of re building my credit. Overall, i now have a high 500. Very dissapointed and i will be contacting KIA OF CHEYENNE AGAIN.. as well as the local banks, news stations and possibly an attorney. Beware of these shady people. read more

I had made an appointment to get my oil changed about 3 weeks ago. At first they wouldn't let me make the appointment because the car wasn't under my name or something?? Yes my grandpa bought me the car but I drive the car therefor I am responsible for taking care of the car. I didn't make the first appointment so I didn't write it down in my planner and I forgot all about it. I then called about last week and made and appointment and I complained and said that yes my grandfather bought it but I take care of it there for I am the one bringing it to get the oil changed. So now let's fast forward to today shall we? At around 10:15 I dropped off my car at the dealership 45 minutes before my appointment which was at 11:00. I was with my grandma and my great grandma so we left to go get food and go shopping. We then go back to the dealership at 1:00pm and I come to find out that my car wasn't even touched since I dropped it off. I left my car there for 3 hours and they couldn't change my oil. I dropped it off earlier because they usually take like 2 HOURS TO CHANGE MY DAMN OIL! But like come on now? You're seriously going to do that to me? I called and made AN APPOINTMENT! A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. And they couldnt even TOUCH MY CAR. It just drives me absolutely crazy! Like why couldn't you have told me when I called to make the appointment, that you guys were going to take 3 hours to let my car sit in your dealership. I'm sorry but that is absolutely the WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! It only takes 30-45 minutes to change the oil on a car. We ended up going to Grease Monkey down the street and they were wonderful! Got me in and out with in 20-30 MINUTES! THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL BUISNESS! read more

Had a repair done there that was a KIA defect. They did not give me a comparable rental (SUV) they gave me a compact car which was difficult with two kids and adults to carry around. I had a part replaced there and it caused another problem, but the issue would only happen now and then. They insisted on seeing the issue, which I could never get it to happen at the dealership. They finally agreed to do the repair but only if I paid for it. Come to find out my warranty had ended. I have a feeling they waited for my warranty to end in order not to fix it. I've had my oil changed there and my car had been sounding worse each time I take it. They also would put the sticker for the oil change with a wrong date for the next oil change. read more
