Bunch of tweekers that don't know how to run a car lot. Cars are dirty and barely run.

So when we moved to Oregon we really didn't know if we could have such an effortless and ideal experience. I found Oregon Roads online and read all the reviews. We decided to call them to get a feel of what their service would provide. Joy Rose was exactly what we were looking for. She was professional and understood what what we wanted. Leasing from her went smoothly. We traded in our older vehicle and we got the exact car we wanted in the color we preferred and at the price that matched our budget. Flawless and terrific customer service. We highly recommend this company.

Every experience has been so much better than any of the other places around town. While they don't have the service department or the huge lot of vehicles, the process with them is pressure-free and friendly. Also, you don't spend a whole day at the dealership if you buy from them, they know what they're doing and don't waste time going back and forth between buyer and manager or whatever it is the larger places do to drag things along. They also won't push you to buy something you don't need. Every time we've been there, they've waited awhile before approaching us, letting us look at vehicles without feeling like you're going to be accosted by a stereotypical salesperson as soon as you park on the lot. Also, if you're looking for something really specific, they do offer to do the searching for you and will get you the car you're looking for, if you can't find it here right away. I recommend Oregon Roads all the time!

I was trying to purchase the truck from Hawaii sight unseen, and Miguel helped me every step of the way and sent me every detailed picture and all the information I requested. I can't say enough about how helpful he was. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if the opportunity arises to purchase a vehicle. If you get the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from these guys I know you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Autorama Eugene for a wonderful experience. Aloha! Kyle

Used Car Dealers were always in the same category as dentists and personal injury lawyers for me…read moreuntil my youngest son bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma from Joe Baudichon at Autorama in Eugene. From the very first, Joe had our trust and never let us down. The truck was exactly as described, and it was the first time in 35 years we had ever even considered buying a vehicle without a test drive because of that trust. He made our long-distance purchase from the duty station in Seattle work with text, calls, Venmo for the deposit, and lightning fast response time, even with our three week delay that held the truck for picking up when military scheduling allowed. Joe followed through with every detail and made our son's first vehicle purchase a wholly positive one. Extraordinary and impeccable pride and professionalism in an industry where we thought it was impossible to find anything of the kind! We were so impressed, and recommend Autorama and especially Joe Baudichon without reservation.

Plus they charged me $200.00 to disable it when fixing it the correct why would have cost $350.00. It still needs to be fixed the correct way. When I called to ask what the heck. The head guy at the service counter told me it was what ford said to do. I looked that up on the ford's website. It clearly states that it is a temporary fix. I did not ask for a temporary fix. They are refusing to fix it the the proper way. How I asked for it to be fixed. They simply state that is ford's recommended fix. Funny I did not know that ford owned my f150. I was a licensed auto dealer in Oregon and California for over 25 years. I've been involved with,…read moreat many levels, lots of dealers, new cars, used cars and wholesale, in both states and even written a book (years ago) on how to survive this industry and if at all possible, avoid it altogether. The practices used my so many dealers, both new-car and used, is not an enviable one and the well-deserved reputation brought upon this profession is an unfortunate and difficult thing to deal with for the few decent individuals and companies that do exist. And now the good news! Florence, Oregon is honored to have one of the very best of these few decent companies that I've ever come across. I've only been lucky enough to have lived here since 2017, but have done business with Johnston Motor Company a few times now regarding my trusty 2004 Ranger. And then last week, I found the exact used car I've been looking for now for a few months, and every one of the folks I talked to in the process of "making the deal" have been just amazing. My well-tuned built-in BS Sensor still works very well, and the needle didn't even wiggle the whole time! These folks are my friends and neighbors here and I was treated as one of them. On this particular car, a like-new 2016 Ford Edge, my out the door cost was nearly identical to the figure I had in mind would be my offer, so no haggling was involved. The whole transaction was a pleasant interchange. The staff (that I met there, about five of them) all live here on the beautiful Oregon Coast, some all their lives, they seem to know everybody in town, and when I left there with my new ride I felt more like I'd just shared a get-together with neighbors than having survived a car purchase. I've received the same level of performance from the service department, plus having my Ranger repaired there was the same kind of experience. So any of you folks, neighbors or visitors, Johnston Motor Company has my recommendation - in case I haven't made that clear yet! Skip Thomsen Florence

I researched all the types of vans on the market and came to the conclusion the Chevrolet Express was the best for my investment. I checked with Kendal and they had a new van but it was too short and I needed the larger model. I saw Guaranty had a Chevy Express van and went to check it out. I spoke to a man who let me test drive the van. He seemed friendly at first. During the test drive, he suddenly got quiet and stopped talking. They were asking $31,000. I told him I have exceptional credit and am retired military. I made an offer on the van for $25,000 dollars. He laughed and said NO really loud, and then told me he likes to be honest. He never stated he would be willing to sit down and negotiate. On the way back to the dealership he bragged that he's been with the dealership for 30 years and he knows the owner really well. Well, you seem to be so established, and you think my offer is a joke or you think I'm a joke? Fine, I will TAKE my absolute amazing credit and my down payment and my integrity somewhere else! And you can keep your 30 years and sense of humor. I bought a new van at Lithia in Medford! And I got a better deal from them than I could EVER have received from Guaranty! I wrote another review on Guaranty's RV parts. After this whole sad sales persons failure to sell me that van, I decided to give Guaranty the benefit of the doubt and purchase my van conversion parts from them. That ended up being a real waste of time! And NO ONE ever contacted me after the incident. The owner posted on my review I was contacted. I was NOT contacted, and contacting me on Google or Yelp reviews does not count! If you or one of your staff had actually contacted me to rectify the matter and clear it up I would NOT have written a poor review of your RV parts store. I've spent over $8,000.00 on my build and none of it was spent at Guaranty! My money is spent at other local retailers or online. Good day to you sir!

It had some of what I thought were minor issues and mentioned them to the salesman who said they were normal for the mileage and not to worry as they wouldn't be an issue and I believed him. Since it was what I was looking for at the price I was wanting to pay I went forward with the purchase and decided to just buy the extended warranty to play it safe in case I was being mislead. Within a year all those minor "not to worry about issues" were actually huge issues. I was completely saved by the extended warranty. We have had to claim well over $15,000 worth of repairs to this vehicle that was claimed to be in excellent condition. It was sold to us almost totaled out in needed repairs. The engine rebuild and GM bulletin update, suspension and differential repairs alone were over $10,000 and the remaining $5,000 plus were odds and ends that failed. Moral of the story...used car salesmen and companies are bad no matter how reputable you think the company is. Don't go in thinking these guys are better than anyone else in town. They are out there to rip you off to make a dollar just like anyone else. I'm still happy with our purchase as I have more than gotten what I paid for in repairs and now after all the work that has been done the vehicle is actually in excellent condition. It was a painful process though.
