I contacted Big Apple Mold Service Last month on a Sunday at 10PM when there was a heavy rain and they answered me right away! At first I started to panic because I didn't know if I can get help but the office reassured me that I will have a crew in my house within 30 minutes ready to tackle! Sure enough Big Apple Mold Service is arrived at 10:30 and started to contain the entire affected area and go in with thermal imaging to see how extent the damage caused from the rain. These guys were really friendly and informative. I noticed this morning that we had mold growing on our windowsills and freaked out, I didn't know how extensive the problem was but decided to see what these guys would say. They came around the same day free of charge for a consultation. They provided me with information on the state of my place, (which has significantly calmed my nerves) and what steps we would need to take to remedy it. They then offered to do a toxicity test for $250 so we could know what type of mold we are dealing with. Until that test is done they are unable to confirm the type of mold we have. They didn't push this or put the pressure on me to go through with spending any money. The inspector was efficient but thorough, courteous and professional but comfortable and approachable, answering all my questions. After swab and air tests were taken apple mold provided a complete report on the lab test results that contained an understandable narrative explaining the more technical portions of the report. And of course the report included assessment of not only the air and swab tests, but of the visual and actual inspection where photos were taken with special cameras that could identify moisture in a wall or ceiling.
