Made inquiry on Yelp for carpet steam cleaning, and this company contacted us almost immediately and were able to schedule a cleaner within a day or two. Cleaner called an hour before arrival, reviewed the site and discussed the price. Initial steam cleaning for the living room/dining room and hallway was one price. Additional shampoo, sanitizing, deodorizing, etc treatment was an additional price. We agreed to have everything done. Cleaner brought up his equipment and finished the project in less than two hours. Happy with results of our clean, almost like new carpet. Two days after drying, we noticed stains we hadn't seen before or during the cleaning process. Called back, sent photos and they said rescheduled within the week for a return. First Service: Amazing service! I needed a rug cleaner for our newly purchased rugs which were combinations of wool, cotton and jute. We had 2 large ones and 2 smaller ones. The large ones consisted of wool and cotton and were very expensive so we wanted to make sure they were in good hands. (Total: ~$4,200) The smaller ones consisted of wool and jute and were equally expensive and we know that jute is a tricky material to work with. (Total: ~$800) We were also able to get our queen sized bed frame cleaned when they arrived and just had to pay the additional charge. Some places would charge you extra to get last minute additions when they arrive but NY Steamers did not! Meyer was quick to respond to all my questions and so flexible with arranging a time. He was so accommodating and all of his team members were so respectful, informative and friendly! The prices are super reasonable and so I decided to book him again to clean our couch. Second Service: I contacted Meyer to get a quote for our 2 seater and chaise and he responded right away with the price. It was a reasonable deep cleaning price and because I was so in love with the service the first time, we went ahead and scheduled a time for the cleaning. We had scheduled a late afternoon cleaning however the day of Meyer contacted and asked if we can have it earlier. It ended up working better in terms of my schedule! The guy quickly came and settled everything and less than 30 minutes later our couch had 99% of the stains removed! I couldn't be any happier. I did a lot of research, and I'm really happy I chose NY Steamers. I have a large sectional and recliner from Room and Board, which had a few tea and coffee stains on it I wanted removed. Jack came in, did a short evaluation and explanation. I chose a full deep clean versus a regular clean for both items since it had been awhile (cleaning front, back, all cushions, all sides, etc). He did a great, efficient job cleaning and did both items in about 30-40 minutes, which was great. Apart from a few stains, I didn't even think my couch was that dirty (no pets, no smoking, etc in my home) but you can see from the dirty water just how much NY Steamers got out (Jack said it's likely a lot of dust). No more stains, and it looks brand new. This is a small thing, but I also liked that Jack wore shoe covers in my apartment while cleaning, and was careful with our wooden floors. I also appreciated that I could schedule via email or phone. I talked to Meyer on the phone, where we got a date on the calendar and rough window (8am-12pm). The day before my appointment, he called to confirm and narrow the window (830 -1030am), which was helpful. On the day of, I got a call 15m before arrival (9:00am). The team was also able to get me their COI within a day or so for my doorman building, which was great too. I paid in cash but you can also pay by card or Venmo. These guys just saved the day. We had the misfortune of trusting the google reviews of another company who came to clean our sofa. In doing so, they actually stained our sofa in another spot and much worse! They refused to accept responsibility and demanded payment (and threatened us), so we paid them and got them out of our apt .
