Nice little yoga studio. Very caring instructors. Reasonable class price of $12. A great place to do yoga in Big Bear.

Lisa Ann created a welcoming environment, even with the intimidation of the swinging harnesses.

The instructors are knowledgeable, attentive, and great at meeting you wherever you are in your practice, whether you're brand new or have been doing yoga for years. The classes strike the perfect balance between strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, and the mountain setting adds an extra layer of peace you don't get anywhere else. I always leave feeling more centered, energized, and grateful I showed up. If you're a local or just visiting Big Bear, this studio is absolutely worth making time for. It's become a highlight of my routine up here.

The instructors are each wonderful and unique, bringing a variety of yogi backgrounds making each class a bit different for us students and ultimately an exciting and fun challenge. I personally love mixing up my week alternating Vinyasa 1-2 with Gentle Flow or Restorative. Candlelight Flow is another favorite! Pilates and Beginner Yoga are also offered each week, and amazing Soundbath classes. Another brilliant 'plus' about MYC is the option to take classes virtually (Zoom). Almost every class in-studio is also offered online! Super convenient on work & travel days. Whether you reside in Big Bear or are just visiting town, I think you will love your visit to this charming studio!

I really love this studio and feel extremely lucky to have found it! I love the challenging classes…read moreand the very precise instruction (including detailed guidance on form and suggestions for trying out more advanced poses and thoughtfully/carefully adjusting one's body to more effectively get into various poses). I also love how the challenging nature of the classes is balanced with a calm, warm, and comfortable studio environment. I've been doing yoga for almost 15 years now and this is tied (with my first hot yoga studio in Albuquerque, NM) for my favorite studio of all time. You rock, Tula! Other stuff: - I love the classes from Angelique and Frank the most but I've truly never had a bad instructor. Laurel and Kyra are excellent too. - This studio offers a ton of different classes at different times. (I first started coming here because it was the only studio in the Redlands/Riverside area that offered evening hot yoga classes that worked with my work schedule.)

Since then, they've moved to a terrible location with 5 parking spots. I drove by there after PAYING for my class and there was NO parking and I took one look at the place and opted out anyways. It's in a very dangerous area- I'm not parking a half mile away to walk on a busy street at night as a small woman. This is really frustrating. Move to an unsafe location, have no parking, can't get your money back for a drop in class, the website NEVER works- and their prices haven't gone down so what exactly are we paying for? The owners Tesla in the private parking lot they have (behind a big black gate) because they know it's in an unsafe location. It's giving scam. Disappointing. I won't be back.

It's located in the historic Apple Valley Inn business park, on the left side by the big main restaurant building. The studio exterior is painted light blue, so it's easy to spot. They require very instructor to have a 200 hour certification, and wow, can you tell and feel the difference that level of training makes. Their cueing was precise and easy to follow without looking. Both instructors at the classes I took were kind, gentle but challenging, and encouraging in the more challenging poses. They explained each pose so clearly, with a constant reminder to breathe, that a beginner could easily follow along and feel great about it. I didn't think I'd be able to do some of the longer holds, but she gave authentic encouragement and I did!! The studio itself is serene, smells heavenly, and feels calm and refreshing. You can feel the intention to be true to the tenants of yoga and it's incredible physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits. The yoga room is airy and bright, with floor to ceiling picture windows with drapes to darken the room when needed. Plenty of space around you to breathe, move, and you won't get sweat on by your neighbor. Complimentary hot tea available. The yoga room is tech/phone/distraction free... You'll find no gym-feel here. No competitiveness, no mirrors, no selfies, no one trying to outdo the other. They've made the intention and tone obvious. For YOU to meet YOURself on YOUR mat... get quiet and in touch with what's going on inside, move it through and make space for more juicy goodness. The highly trained instructors guide you not only the physical poses, but continually offer the mindset of yoga as well. It's a huge difference. I'm already in love with this studio. I think you will be too.

The owner, Beth, is very warm and personable! She made sure that she had memorized my name before my first class was over. Yoga tends to be one of the most kind and helpful things that I feel I can do for my body. The deep stretching gives me plenty of endorphins and certain poses strengthen my entire body. I appreciate that I don't need to mess with any weights or machines! I get to challenge myself to breathe past the pose holding and find myself looking and feeling much better! Including my forever aching hips! Even just showing up once a week! My only reservation is that the studio was a bit chilly (which is often nice when my body is warmed up and I'm sweating though!) I can not recommend it enough!
