It's a counter service place and when we were here on a week day lunch hour, we saw a couple of people coming in to pick up their orders. Maybe more of a to-go place? But we dined in. I had Bon Mi Bowl $17.99. It is a bit on the pricey side but the bowl itself had a very generous portion and lots of vegetables with protein. It is too expensive for what it is. And mediocre at best. I bought a bagel for $20 and I would've preferred a $7 one from Starbucks.

My sister took us here while visiting her. It became our usual spot during our visit and we were able to try different coffees as well as their sandwiches. I really like the Korean offerings and the unique drinks. It's refreshing to see bagels with Korean flavors as well so I was glad to be able to try that. I went here while in town visiting friends. The employees were friendly and greeted us upon walking in. There are menus right by the door, along with one on the wall. It had mixed greens, rice, shredded pork (some fatty parts I tossed out), a yummy spicy orange sauce, and too many cucumbers. I would order it again. I ordered the bowl partly because I was quite hungry and thought the sandwiches wouldn't be enough food (at almost the same price). Big Bon Bodega in Pooler, yes! As a local I am familiar with the original downtown location. I love that there is a Big Bon closer to me now. This location is at the Blue Moon River Crossing. It is on the Publix side of the road. The restaurant is facing the road. There is parking. The service was excellent. The menu is available on paper and on the wall digitally. The staff is able to answer any questions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant is small but has tables for seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am more inclined to grab food/drinks to go personally. Big Bon Bodega bakes delicious, fresh bagels and scrumptious pizza. I am talking foodie quality. This is a new, secondary location in Pooler. Their original location is in Savannah and received national highlight when featured on Food Network by a Guy Fieri visit. They started in the bagel business. They have big selection of quality bagel flavors. More than just a bagel shop, they offer top notch bagel sandwich options, some with Korean Bulgogi influence from the Korean owner/baker. I have enjoyed this at original location. On this visit to this new location, I tried their infamous pizza for the first time. They brand their pizza as "Savannah Square Pizza" which pulls inspiration from the Savannah square parks. It is Detroit style square pizza with a thick risen crust, which I especially love as I grew up in Michigan. It's a personal 6in x 6in pizza so everyone can order their own pizza. I ordered the TELFAIR TRUFFLE PIZZA. It is topped with Potato String, Wild Mushroom, Cheese Blend, Parmesan, Scallion, White Sauce, Garlic-Truffle Aioli. The manager walking around said it was his favorite. All I know is this pizza was wicked good and I will be back! They have a separate coffee counter, so you can get a good cup of coffee with a bagel. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My wife's bowl (Beef Bulgogi Bowl) was delicious. Very flavorful and a large enough portion for the price. However, my Korean Mama was just fair. Flavor of the meat was good, but the Korean chili cream cheese (spicy pimento cheese) was overpowering, and on top of a bagel........just not good. Maybe it's me.....a bagel is a breakfast bread and shouldn't be a sandwich. Just too heavy and clunky to be good. I'll go with the bowl next time. Ordered the chicken sandwich received the smallest piece of chicken to make a sandwich. 4 bites of chicken. Anyone who puts that on a sandwich is not passionate about what they do or is clueless. i will update my review my prior claim the bagels are frozen incorrect although they do come from a bag and do taste like frozen bagels. in pooler the bagels are dropped off the night prior. these are not fresh bagels they are close to a day old. hard and tasteless and that's exactly how they taste. . you can dress it up by toasting it but they are not freshly made freshly served bagels. plus it will cost you 4.80 for a bagel with cream cheese. this cost is unheard of. i speak from experience rip. i am unsure why old tasteless bagels cooled the day prior placed in bags are served i just threw mine in the garbage what a waste of money read more
