Had the potato pancakes with hotcakes. Both were ok. Table service was good along with the waiter.

I also liked the mismatched mugs. They seemed seriously understaffed, and service was very slow. We ordered drinks, and waited long enough for someone to come back to take our food order that we were starting to wonder if they thought we were only getting drinks. There was another long wait for our food. When it arrived, it arrived in batches. One person ordered three tacos, but the order was entered wrong, so they only got one to start, and they had to wait quite a while for the other two. The food was good overall, but the portions were quite small. I did like the Bourbon Street French toast, particularly the caramel sauce. It could have used more bananas though. The fried pickles were good, as were the spicy mozzarella sticks. The steak omelet's sauce was odd. The nachos were good. The coffee and lattes were good. The regular orange juice had less juice than one poured for our toddler. Overall it was alright, but I don't know that I'd go back.

The Kevin Bacon LT was one of their many varieties of avocado toast which tasted very fresh and clean. Came in on a Sunday morning in August and the wait was 20 minutes, which is normally not an issue but the restaurant was only about 75% full. Service was a little slow but did not alter our positive experience. We will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu.

Ryan's is where you go when your crowd is too big for the your hole-in-the-wall hometown dive bar or when you're feeling fancy. It is a large space with bar and table seating. Depending on where you enter, you might have to go around the bar to find the host, just keep going. You'll find the seating. If you're in need of a banquet (up to maybe around 100 people?), they also have a well-appointed basement that you can rent, and they will cater your event. Back to the standard bar-restaurant area, they now have digital menus which work well, and they will teach you how to use them. There are specials on the landing page, and then sections for burgers, sandwiches, meals, etc. A wait person will still take your order and handle substitutions, requests, and recommendations. Service is solid, and the food is good. The menu is a bit too broad for it to be great food, but they do a wide variety of things surprisingly well, so you're safe ordering almost anything, though I would question the salad bar, not from Ryan's perspectives, but the guests. Cheers.

It would be nice if there weren't four pasta salads on the salad bar and a bit more variety but I have made a dinner out of just the salad bar and it was fine. We tried three different devices to place an online order and couldn't get to the cart to place the order and pay. Then we called the restaurant and they wouldn't take our order over the phone. Who does that and why?! Anyhow, we ended up sending someone to the restaurant to order. Which ended up being fine since he was going to pick it up our orders anyways. I ordered a chicken bowl loaded with rice, lettuce, banana peppers, street corn, cilantro and onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guac, green sauce, and pico de gallo. I wanted black beans too but either the restaurant forgot or the orderer missed them. Even so, this flavor combo was an amazing treat for my taste buds. I really think it was the street corn that made the dish! Lots of lime flavor. Although it was a lot of food, I devoured the whole bowl plus chips and salsa. The chips weren't the greatest, but it was still nice to have that crunch with my bowl. Since we did carry out, I can't comment on the ambiance. But this food would probably be good any where! Just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it again.
