Was in the mood for some breakfast omelette. I ordered a Veggie Omelette and hash browns. The order came pretty quickly but it really wasn't an omelette it was more like a veggie scramble. It was bland and was not really cheese. The hash browns were ok but nit that great. The place was not really busy as school was out. There was a couple next to us and their server came back a few times with the wrong food and the server apologized a few times. Our server didn't make mistakes but really never came back to check on us. Overall, I was disappointed in my with my breakfast. I wish I would have just said something but I was too hungry to ask for them to make it. I've had better experiences in the past but not this day. read more

Its a good Coney Island, diner environment. It is always VERY busy in the mornings, especially on the weekends, I have always had to wait for at least half an hour (but I've only ever gone during busy times in the morning on weekends). Nice staff, when I have gone they usually seem stressed and spread thin, they still provided great service under the circumstances. Great breakfast food, and large portion sizes. read more

A perfect little place for a quick meal. It has a dinner feel, but I didn't feel like it was dirty or that the food was anything less than delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient. The cheeseburger was very greasy, but that is kind of what I expected at a place like this. Don't recommend the fries though, extremely bland. Leo's Coney Dogs ROCKS! !!!! Hands down THE best coney dog I have ever had! I have tried the coneys at Nathan' Famous on the east coast and Pink's on the west coast. They ate both good, but can't hold a candle to Leo's. Leo's buns are steamed, the onions are a tight dice and the dogs are the highest quality. The skin of the dog "pop" when you bite into it. The chili is a rich redish brown, but does not drown out the taste of the dog. Thr service is second to none. Quick, friendly and attentive. I wish I could leave zero stars. The service here is horrible. The food is less than mediocre and the place is filthy. Today, I asked how long the wait was for a "to go" order. I was told 20 minutes. I order and wait AN HOUR to get my food. I get my food and drive away only to discover that half of my order was MISSING. I call back to ask for my food to be made, and the same guy say, "oh we're really busy, it might take a while." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I explained that I already waited an hour for my order and that my missing order should be moved to the front of the stack. This is my second experience like this at this place. Definitely not the best Coney Island you'll ever go to, but I love that one opened in East Lansing as another cheap option for breakfast food and late-night eats. The restaurant itself is an L-shape, attached to the Marriott. There was a guy "acting" as a hostess by the door on a busy post-football game night. I say acting because he looked like he may have just rolled out of bed. He also didn't lead us to our seats but pointed to the booth and told us to go there. We waited 30 minted for our opa appetizer and were only given 2 slices of pita for 5 people. Our food eventually came 30-40 minutes later. I had asked for my toast on the side because I have a gluten allergy and it came on top of my food. My omelet was not cooked either, it was extremely runny/watery. The fries were cold.
