Bryan rescued us in Solvang. Our car was leaking oil badly and we needed to get back home to Pasadena. He drove 140 miles north to pick the car up and 140 back. All on a Saturday evening and for a much better rate than the other towing services we compared. I'd never heard of Big Brother Towing till reading the Yelp reviews, but I see why he gets a solid five stars. Really terrific service and conversation, the trip went fast and a stressful and potentially expensive situation was turned into a pleasant and manageable one. My Son, who lives in the Pasadena area called me (I live in Las Vegas) to inform me he had been in a fender bender and had front end damage to the truck. Of course being a student he had only liability insurance and did not know what to do. I quickly jumped onto yelp to find a tow truck company and found Big Brother Towing recommended. The tow truck driver, I think his name was Brian was there in 20 minutes and helped my son out. He called me to let me know the damage was cosmetic and secured the front bumper and pointed out the vehicle was drivable and there was no need to have it towed anywhere. I had a really odd request and Bryan did his best to help on very short notice. In fact, he was the only willing to try. It was a Sunday and I had a car shipping to Hawaii on a Monday morning from my elderly mother-in-law's place. In order to ship, the car had was supposed to have a 1/4 tank of gas or less. It was relatively full and would have taken long time to drive and use it up. He was willing to come out and siphon the gas out on a Sunday evening. Just great service. read more

I had flat tire at Pasadena almost midnight on Saturday night. I was just me and my daughter. So the restaurant manager called this company to help me. They were unable to change to my spare tire because I don't have the special key to unlock the rims so I felt very helpless. Luckily this people knows how to temporary patched the flat tire from a nail. They are vey honest and knew what they are doing. No extra charge for all of that... Great and affordable. Next to having AAA, this is the best option. I have AAA but for some reason they couldn't tow my car (which was totaled) from their tow yard to a private residence, and they told me to get a private company to do it. Apparently, should of had it towed directly to the residence from the accident. Whatever, I needed my car out of there by 5pm. Anyway, glad I did and found this place! read more
