With no positive results from AAA who came 3 times to tow my Lexus RX 330 out of the garage, I sought an independent towing company that would make a minimum of effort for a slightly more complicated than average problem. Based on reviews, I picked Big Brother. The ignition lock of my car had suddenly failed and the wheels were turned away, not easy for towing. The hood of the car was situated under an overhang in the garage with little room above it. After explaining to the owner, Bryan, my experience with AAA, he agreed to come out and evaluate the situation. He was on time and even before starting the work, Bryan thought thru the entire situation--how to pull the car out on dollies in limited space and how to angle my car thru a narrow parking area to the street without damaging the car or the surrounding area. Once on the street, he picked a downhill route to the destination (the dealership), which was the safest, although not the most direct. I paid Big Brother $140 for at least 2 1/2 hours of time, truck and gas. I rode in the cab of the truck to my destination and found Bryan to be reasonable and easy to work with. Because I care how my car is handled, I would definitely use Big Brother again. read more

Don't waste your time with this guy! This isn't a company; it's a guy! I called this guy because my car wouldn't start and I wanted it towed to the dealer. Instead of taking my address over the phone, as any normal company would do, he asked me to text him my address. I sent him three text: one with the address, one stating where the car was, and one asking him to confirm receipt of the text. He called my back about 5-minutes later stating he didn't get the text. That should have been my first indication to not bother with this guy. Then, he tells me he gets the third one while we're speaking. I tell him I'll resend the other two. We hang up and he then sends me a text stating he got my other texts. So, I wait and wait for this guy. He sends me a text asking if I got my car started because he didn't see the car on the street. Long story short, he wasn't even at the right address because my car was is parked on the street as plain as day. Now, I have to call another company and wait all over again. What a waste of time this guy has been, a complete loser! read more

Great service!! Called on a Sunday afternoon from Eagle Rock... truck arrived 25 minutes later. There was a parade near my house that day. Driver was patient, friendly and very helpful. The price was right on too, reasonable and fair with no post-service surprises. He disclosed the cost in my initial call and that's where it stayed. From start to finish, my dealing with them was easy and without stress. Not a snag where as usually there is some issue in dealing with this type of service. After he was paid, the driver, on his own, parked his truck, which I can't imagine was easy to do with the parade traffic. The reason he wrestled with parking, again without being asked, was so he could help us push the car, up hill, into the driveway. That was so cool of him... he went above and beyond for sure. All in all, the service was top-notch and done with a smile. With confidence, I recommend Big Brother towing hands down. read more
