They installed the wrong size oil filter, which caused multiple dashboard warning lights to come on and noticeable shaking in the dashboard. When I raised the issue, the customer service was not very friendly. They also seem to have an issue with female customers. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend Cook's Automotive Enterprises to my worst enemy.

At Honest 1, I was able to get my car in without an appointment. They also offered to call a tow truck for my car if I needed. During the process, I spoke to the same person Start to finish. He was available for my questions and he charged about what I believe is typical for the industry. There was one drawback. The up-sale. They got me to buy some wiperblades, but when they offered to change out my exhaust- leaking catalytic converter for $800 to $900, lest carbon monoxide poisoning sneak into the car, I had to draw the line. But overall, as someone who would prefer a root canal to taking my car into the shop, I have to say that the service was good. And my car works. Until it spontaneously won't.
