We saw frogs, fireflies, and even a small otter splashing around in front of our campsite! Almost every night, we took a quick 12-minute walk over to the delicious and beautiful Waller's Supper Club for dinner and old fashioneds, where we enjoyed the complimentary pontoon rides around the adjacent lake. We selected a deluxe campsite right on the water, and family members booked the spot next to ours. We have two pugs, and our family has one small dog. The reviews had us a bit nervous that our dogs would bark and we would get in trouble, because all dogs occasionally bark. We need not have worried. The park is quiet in a pleasant way, not in an oppressive or excessively supervised way at all. We have to assume that people writing negative reviews about this had large, very loud dogs. In the evenings after dinner, we quietly enjoyed cocktails and soft music under the stars around the campfire without any issues, and saw others throughout the park doing the same. Again, we have to assume that those complaining about being told to quiet down must have been really tearing it up lol! The negative reviews we read prior to arrival made us needlessly apprehensive, and didn't reflect our experience with this wonderful campground at all. We absolutely loved it, and will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This is a beautiful land preserve located just outside of Fredonia Wi. The Ozaukee Washington land…read moretrust oversees this preserve. Parking is limited with just two spots right off of clover valley road next to the trail head sign but you can park along the side of the road. The trail to the top of the hill leads you to a old house remains. Just the foundation remains but it is a really interesting find. There is also the remains of a larger building, possibly a barn at one time. The structure does have some graffiti And we seem to find beer bottles there every time we visit. A hot spot for the local teenagers I'm sure. The trail leads you along a huge grassland area where you can easily spot turkey vultures, Hawks and other large birds hunting for small game. Once you reach the end of the grassland area the trail splits and you can either go up to your left or down to your right. If you choose the upward trail you will hike up and down a trail that winds down from the hilltop into the forest, finishing at the plank walk and looping back to the opposite trail. There is a bench area along this trail. If you choose the downward trail it will take you directly to a plank walk down to Huiras lake. There is a small Pier that goes out onto the lake so you can observe the otters that swim there, or watch the ducks. I am unsure how the fishing is at this lake. There is no boat access from the land preserve. This is a nice place to walk your dog, or to take your family on a nature walk. I have brought my cub scouts here to do bird counts, it's not well traveled and because it isn't you can really enjoy the solitude while there.

Every experience has always been great! They are super friendly, always knowledgeable, and super kind. Even today I ran my boat up there to ask a few simple questions. I don't write reviews often, but I feel families considering this dealership deserve to know what…read morewe went through. We had been in discussions with this dealership to trade in our used bass boat (motor and trailer included, fully operable). After going back and forth remotely on trade-in value -- sharing photos they raised no questions or concerns about -- we agreed on a price. We then visited the dealership twice in person to make sure the boat and the deal were the right fit for our family. On what was supposed to be our final visit to close the deal, we signed an agreement based on the value we'd settled on and filled out a credit application to finance the remaining balance. The dealership ran a hard credit pull that same evening. Only afterward did we find out the deal wouldn't actually close that day -- we'd need to make the long drive back out a second time, despite the dealership knowing how far we'd already traveled to get this done. The next morning, we learned our boat's value had been cut by more than half. Their inspection nitpicked ordinary wear on a 20-year-old boat to justify gutting the trade-in price -- after they'd already seen the photos, already had our signatures, and already pulled our credit. To be clear about the order of events: they ran our credit after we signed based on one agreed number, then tried to push us into financing significantly more after the fact. That's not a legitimate inspection process -- that's a bait-and-switch. When we raised concerns, the sales manager was dismissive, with the kind of sleazy, high-pressure sales attitude that confirmed we'd made the right call walking away. The GM tried to get ahold of the situation but you could tell he didn't want to deal with this headache on a Friday. Lessons learned: get every valuation in writing, don't sign anything until the trade-in number is truly final, and don't let anyone pull your credit until you're sure the deal is real. We won't be buying our next boat here, and I'd encourage other families to think carefully before doing business with this dealership.
