My sons doctor recommended using Clar X as his prescription was known to be expensive. The prescription was first sent to our local grocery pharmacy that we typically use by error and when I went to pick it up it was $700 without insurance it would've taken several days to figure out what insurance would cover. At that time I contacted Claire X big country dermatology pharmacy that the doctor had initially recommended and without insurance the prescription was only $65. Big country was also going to submit to our insurance but I went ahead and filled the prescription since it was a reasonable cost & the future refills will fall u set our insurance, hopefully for even less than $65. I cannot believe the difference in cost from big country to our local pharmacy. The person who answered the phone at big country was very helpful and knowledgeable and our prescription came in less than 48 hours to our door. My insurance was not going to cover my medication and my bill was going to be $288.00. When I called back to the doctor's office they recommended claRx Big Country Dermatology Pharmacy. Within 1 day they called and said they were able to compound a similar prescription and it would be $55.00. They are convinient when shipping and easy to reorder from. The only thing if the fed ex delivery leaves the prescription in the heat and my medication needs to be refrigerated. The pharmacy packs the medication great with ice packs and an insulated bag but by the time I get it (sent 9/7/21 delivered 9/9/21) it is hot. I have concerns about this. read more

My dermatologist recommended this pharmacy and I will say that I am very happy with them. They are very courteous on the phone when I have questions or need refills. We even played phone tag for days because when I finally was able to get back to calling them it was way after hours so....that didn't help me at all.
