Awesome park, clean and lots to do for the kids! We will definitely be back! We loved the animals and playing in the creek the most!

Overpriced, rude staff. Came here on Halloween, won't do it again. The staff isn't very polite, definitely needs new management

The staff were extremely warm, welcoming, insightful, and kind. They have a little store with coffee, ice cream, pizza, some other fun beverages, and convenience things. As well as laundry. We went the weekend after Memorial Day so some of there goods were low in stock. But their lattes and breves were so tasty!! They did offer WiFi but you had to pay extra. It was 30 for 3 days for our party. (Included 8 people). The main bathroom/shower house at the store was extremely well kept. You could tell they worked hard to keep it clean. The bathrooms at the pool were pretty clean as well. They had a basketball hoop & sand volleyball. The pool was nice. It's small but heated/cooled so that was really nice. The chairs around the pool were really nice and clean. The pool was salt water which I really liked. They had a huge gazebo with picnic tables & a few little outdoor games and fans. They had a concession stand there that was unfortunately not open. We tent camped in one of the RV spots so we could have electric. It fit perfectly and the spots were so clean and well managed. The space between lots wasn't very big so keep that in mind. They have lights throughout the site so if you have to walk to the restroom it's not to dark but not so many that it was completely lite up and to bright. They also had trash cans every few spots that were keep clean. The one thing I was bummed about was there isn't creek or river access from the camp ground. However the river is very close and a short drive away. I wish I would have gotten more pictures but I'd say for a weekend getaway it's a 10/10 to take your family. Oh and they have a really nice playground. It's more for 5+ year olds but my 1 year old still enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back.

Then I remembered that we should sometimes take…read moreonline reviews with a grain of salt because some people are extremely sensitive about things I would never take notice of. So we stayed here anyway because the proximity to the hi-way was great! Other camps seemed far away and more like true camping. We just needed a solid place to stay overnight with a large RV and trailer setup. The place is beautiful, very convenient to get to and we had no trouble getting into a flat pull through with our 28 ft motor home, pulling our car on a full trailer. We had our cat with us which of course meant not having to deal with outdoor pet rules. My guess is that the many pet owners who don't clean up after their dogs has resulted in having some rules in the camp. It happens everywhere now because some people think the rest of society doesn't mind looking at dog poo. Well, anyway... there was an older couple there, who were friendly and professional. They probably find it hard to spend days cleaning up poo. We enjoyed our stay and the price can't be beat!

It was nice and quiet, though the roads are windy and sharp they guide you to your spot. However, we ARE pet parents and upon making reservation for a one night stay I did advise we have 2 aussies. The pet policy is insanly strict.... Don't let your dog pee on trees and bushes??? Really? There is a pet relief area in the very front of the park next to a busy road but wouldn't you know they park us in the very back of the park. NOT FOR PET LOVERS

I usually use my camper as more of a mobile hotel while traveling- it's a place to stay (usually…read morewith my dogs) while I am doing something during the day. So I booked a site here for a place to stay while I was diving Bonne Terre mine. Initially my reservation was for Friday and Saturday night, but after checking out the website, I thought I might end up staying until Monday morning. I liked that the directions, site number and bathroom code were texted to me and that I could just go straight to my site and someone would stop by afterwards for check-in. But it rained for most of the weekend, so other than walking the dogs around the area, I didn't get out of the camper much. Although it seemed like a nice enough place, based on the information on their website I was expecting a lot more property and outdoorsy things to do. It doesn't seem like the property is large enough to have any hiking trails, and there are two small ponds, but it didn't look like swimming or wading was encouraged. There were a couple small wooden platforms out over the water, maybe for fishing? Overall I was satisfied with the place because it met my basic needs. But when I got done diving at the mine on Sunday afternoon, I packed up and left because even if the weather improved it seemed like there was enough to do at Stone Park to make it worth of another night there.

There's no theme...they had beach stuff at one point, Fourth of July stuff near Santa, the Twelve Days of Christmas stuff... it was like lights just threw up all over the place. It was random and not appealing to my eyes. The road was not in good condition and it was very hard to see where I was supposed to drive because the path was poorly marked at parts of the drive. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Terrible display.

If you don't hold the bathroom door shut when using the toilet it doesn't really lock and workers do not knock, one walked in on my brother. Used to be a decent place that I recommended people to visit. I had the best reviews on google and yelp for it with photos of my daughter visiting each year but at time progressed I don't want to take her there. The place has gone down hill, inflated the prices and because they reclaimed ownership a couple months ago, couldn't have the pool functioning in time after we were told the pool would be open by Libby. Crystal(owners right hand man) said if we didn't come even though the kids wouldn't have a pool they'd charge us for cancelling. We asked for a discount from the inflated price bc we wouldn't have a pool which was the only reason we booked. She said no, owner said he doesn't do that. So we have done a lot of sitting around and much lost vacation time and money for my children to watch teenagers party on the playground equipment while listening to rap and getting drunk. Place is not suitable for children that haven't experienced bad language or intoxicated people. They also wouldn't place is by each other which I had set up . The kids have nothing to do, nobody worked on the pool once like they claimed they were working on so so very hard on the phone. I've been coming here since I had kids, and to the lake since I was a baby. I'm surprised they did this, I won't be back. Pretty sure they're trying to get every penny before losing or selling the property, I don't know why they'd treat regulars like that if not.

We had a great stay! Cabins are reasonably priced. Excellent service at the restaurant and store…read more Plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers and a playground area for kids.
