The menu is jam-packed with delicious options, and our group had a hard time narrowing down our selections! We started by sharing the traditional mild Buffalo wings, burnt ends, and armadillo eggs. The wings were huge, meaty, and packed with an amazing smoked flavor. The burnt ends were incredibly tender, falling apart and practically melting like butter in your mouth. Amazingly, I still had room for the turkey Reuben with waffle fries. It was an interesting twist and a slightly healthier alternative to a traditional Reuben. They also offered a great selection of local beers on tap. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sheboygan!

We don't mind waiting for a table at a busy restaurant-- but a fair degree of accuracy in the…read moreestimated wait time is a sign of an organized and well managed establishment. If you tell us the wait is 40 minutes and we are seated in 45 minutes, we won't complain. But if you say the wait is 10-15 minutes and we have to inquire about what's going 40 minutes later and it turns out you can seat us immediately, the front of the house management is not doing their job very well. (At least it was pleasant outside and we enjoyed strolling up and down the marina checking out all the boats while we were waiting.) Once we were finally seated, everything was fine. Our server greeted us promptly. Drinks were delivered shortly after we placed our order and the food came to the table not long after that. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. Compared to BBQ brisket I've had elsewhere I'd give it a six out of ten, not bad but far from the best (but I really didn't expect a place in Sheboygan to top places in Kansas City or Memphis for example). I sampled all their sauces (none of which wowed me) before settling on one that brought a touch of heat to the palate. The potato salad was a tad one-note -- it needed a touch of acid and a bit more texture, I.e. crunchy vegetables. All in all, Parker John's was okay -- but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

The burger was great and cooked just how I like it. The poutine appetizer substitutes cheese curds for chicken, which was an interesting, but welcome surprise! The staff is very friendly and attentive and the guests were cheery as well. I definitely want to try other items on the menu! The wings were just okay.

Way to big and it had skin on it and it was salty! Chicken strips were good size but salty. Pork chop good, vegetables very salty, airline chicken good, vegetables very salty. So overall extremely salty food. 3 of the 5 went home not feeling well. A shame. Reached out to them and they basically said: Thanks for you feedback, it was a new dish that was put out last night. The 4 that went out earlier in the night received great reviews. Salt is a very difficult thing in restaurants. Everyone tastes are different As far as your people not feeling well after eating our food, every food class and schooling explains it is impossible to feel sickness in that short period of time from ingestion. Typically what a person ate 12-24 hours before would make them sick. So my take away from that is too bad so sad. Needless to say we will not be going back!

Recently I had my new favorite, the Maple Glazed Salmon... highly recommend! My wife's meal however was a little lacking, it was a special that day, some type of shrimp risotto that was lukewarm and a little mushy, the side salad was also a wilted, not fresh. This was a let down, because I usually enjoy my meals at the Pig.... Especially the desserts! I'm going to say this was a one off, and will be back for the Honey Glazed Salmon, and of course, the desserts!

Have extended their seating to include outdoor seating. I love eating outside, would love to see them create a divider between the outdoor seating and road, otherwise very nice. Had the Bloody Mary with chaser, slightly spicy, was very good. We started with the tempura brussel sprouts, absolutely delicious. We kept changing our minds on what to eat and we decided on the brisket grilled cheese and we were not disappointed. The Gouda cheese, brisket, and mushrooms were a great flavor. Server was amazing and very accommodating. All in all a fantastic lunch. Highly recommend.
