    Catfish poboy monthly special
    Caylen H.

My grandma and I went here for a Friday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it! The service was great and fast! The food was great! I had the monthly special of a catfish poboy which was very good. Different than why you would get in Louisiana but I think of it as a more upscale version! My grandma had the cod sandwich with clam chowder and loved both! I love the idea of monthly specials, so I will have to come back to try more!

The Stillery is a place I would really like to love. I met my mom there recently as we're both big bourbon fans and it's a good meeting place for us, between cities. There's street parking all around the block where it's situated and a city lot. As you enter, you hit a reception podium and they offer seating in the bar area as well as in a dining section. This is a large open space with high and low top seating. We chose to eat near the bar at a high top table. Behind the bar is an impressive bottle selection. Sadly you can only see the liquor list via a QR code, which is slightly inconvenient and annoying, as my cell reception was not great in the building and the list loads sloooooowly. They explained that they would have to be constantly updating a printed list, which I understand, but then A) post a WIFI password/link on every table with the QR code and/or B) get a tablet or two that you can give tables so they can just see the electronic list in a bigger, faster format. We both had features cocktails from their menu. My Manhattan was very good. My mom enjoyed the bourbon smash more after she squeezed her lemon into it, as it was on the sweet side. Mom enjoyed her avocado steak salad and said it was quite good. I'm a little irked to see a $0.50 add-on for an extra side of dressing. That seems cheap in this day and age. I ordered an Impossible burger, with the toppings of their garlic mushroom Swiss burger. I'm not sure why everyone's version of a veggie burger is always the one with the most basic toppings on the menu. We might not eat beef, but vegetarians still like flavor. While the toppings were good, the burger itself was undercooked and only vaguely warm. I was offered a choice of 4 different fries - I chose sweet potato fries. Again, I'm irritated after the fact to see there was a $2 upcharge. They weren't that great and sweet potatoes are not that much more expensive that potatoes. So, yes, my lunch was disappointing across the board. Service was by the bartender, Brad, and a crew of others kept checking to see if we needed more drinks or anything. They definitely did well in the service arena. Of course, a manager or someone noted when I took the photo of the bar area and said she hoped I was leaving them a great review, so they might have paid extra attention. Too bad it wasn't to my food. We chose to come back and try some bourbons after our day's adventures. We sat directly at the bar, where there had been a staff shift. This bartender seemed pretty unknowledgeable about the selections on offer and even how to make the drinks. Ours were good, but under chilled. I'm not sure she understood what having a drink "up" meant. Which, you know, is weird at a cocktail bar. Again, the list was slow to load. I think we'll go back and we'll try other items. They have a couple veggie friendly menu items. We're impressed by their bourbon and whisky selection. They just need to up their game in a few areas.

First time here and it won't be the last. Great service, clean bar and grill with a huge menu and tons of options for everyone. I would like more draft beers choices but we still had a great experience. The food was flavorful and big serving sizes. We enjoyed the short rib tacos, steak salad and the bourbon glazed chicken sandwich all of which were amazing. Even had leftovers!

Love the atmosphere & location of this spot. Drink specials and drinks are really tasty! Our visit was subpar.. we waited at the booth to be seated for over 5 minutes at 2pm- there were very few people inside. Our waitress didn't come get our order for quite some time, which again- if it were busy I'd totally understand but there was one other table she was waiting on. My hamburger was amazing, my husband asked for medium rare and his steak was well done for his salad. Will give it another shot for the food!

The Stillery Grafton, Wisconsin is the perfect place to enjoy a Sunday evening meal. Being from out of town I was surprised at the eclectic crowd. There were TVs showing Brewers baseball as well as NFL football games. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. Being in Wisconsin I decided to order a beer. Others enjoyed a special house drink and a glass of wine. We explained that we needed a little extra time to peruse the large menu both for food and drinks. When the waitress returned we asked her for some suggestions and she was very helpful in steering us to a number of their specialties. We started with some Wisconsin spicy cheese curds. They had a nice batter that was light and had a good mouth feel. Dipping sauces were on the side. For mains we ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, Stillery Burger, and the Stillery Chicken Burger. The waitress was also nice enough to bring over a taste of the garlic shrimp. Everything was excellent. The burger and the chicken were cooked to perfection. The noise level was loud as we got to our table, but quickly reduced to a conversation level after about 15 minutes. Pride in the food and quality of service was noticed by our table. We had people both from the East Coast and the West Coast who were both impressed with the Stillery. Some parking is available on the street with a short walk, depending on the time of day. I look forward to coming back when in town and enjoying other items on their great menu.

The food and service are great. This place has one of the best burgers in Grafton and I'm picky! I like mine with just lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mustard. Yummy! The best part of this visit was the server accommodated my Service dog by placing me on the back wall. I didn't have to worry about his safety while I thoroughly enjoyed my burger! I think I was groaning with delight! The lunch crowd was busy but the tables were clean, bussed quickly, and full of happy diners! Great place for lunch or dinner -- alcohol served. You decide if you want to bring kids or not!

We stopped in here on a Sunday for some food and sat at the bar. There's a more than ample amount of TVs so if you're looking for a spot to watch any game this would be the perfect location. The bartenders were friendly and efficient and the selection of drinks and food is vast. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had the steak tacos. We both tried half of each others and both dishes were incredibly tasty!

Picked a random spot in Grafton. Was not disappointed. Food was beyond delicious! The Stillery fries were quite the pleasant shock. The club, amazing! Will definitely be back.

Atmosphere: I can't say that I "love" the vibe here - it's an interesting decor. I think "efficient" or "functional" use of space is a better description of the place. There are knick knacks here and there, but mostly, it's an open space with awesomely huge TVs spaced out evenly and all turned to the same channel. Great place to watch the Packers! More of a guy's place to hang out for a game rather than a girl's night out. It's too cold now to sit outside, but outdoor dining area looks cute for days with good weather. Service was slow. Our server was nice but our food took 30 minutes to come out and she never came to check on us or give us an update on the food in the meanwhile. No refill on drinks. Food: The Stillery Burger - The best part of this burger is the naked white cheddar cheese curd. AMAZING! It was very lightly battered and fried and absolutely delicious. I had to ask them whether they had this as an appetizer, but unfortunately their cheese curds plate is a more heavily battered, normal fare. They make these especially just for the burners. All burgers will be garnished with an onion ring and this cheese curd. The burger itself? Very tasty. I asked for extra lettuce as I always do (on keto), and gave half of it with the buns to hubby and ate the other half wrapped in lettuce. Very fresh lettuce and tomato/onions, and perfectly medium cooked and just right seasoned patty. Generous bacon portions. Nothing to complain about! 12 Wings This was more of a disappointment. They looked baked rather than fried, and overcooked on top of that with burnt ends here and there. We asked for sauce on the side (we always do this the first time we get wings at a new place to get the true taste). The stiller sauce was delish, and the mango habanero was good. The wings themselves were ok, as it really wasn't seasoned. Yes, with the sauce, maybe it doesn't matter... but of course it does. The basic wings needs basic seasoning so the meat inside is tasty too. Overall, I'd be happy to be back for burger and IPA to watch the game sometime!

I'm 50/50 on The Stillery in Grafton and here's why. I've eaten at this establishment twice and had 2 totally different experiences. The first time my family and I stopped to eat at The Stillery was a little after their grand opening when they were only opening in the evenings. The restaurant was jam packed but we were seated at a table after a very short wait (less than 10mins after the host took our name). Our waitress was incredibly friendly and accurate with our orders. Food was phenomenal. Appetizers were their haystack onion rings and a small order of boneless wings with their house sauce, and for dinner, we ordered the bourbon glazed chicken sandwich, the ultimate Wisconsin club sandwich, and a 12" pepperoni pizza. For dessert, we shared a deep fried ice cream. Our dinner at The Stillery that evening went so fantastic, we enthusiastically praised them to all our friends and family! The experience during our second visit to The Stillery was a complete 180 from the first. This was a more recent visit; my family and I stopped in for lunch on a random weekday. The restaurant wasn't busy but it wasn't empty either. We were greeted by the hostess upon walking in and since it was a beautiful day out, we asked if we could be seated on their outdoor patio (there was another party already eating outdoors when we asked). She said yes and told us to go right out and pick whichever table we wanted, so we did. We sat and waited looking over the menu, and not a single waitstaff acknowledged us. We watched as the previous party on the patio finished their meal and left, and shortly after, another party was led onto the patio and seated at a table next to ours. Still, no waitstaff approached us. Then, another party was led onto the patio and seated on the opposite end of the patio, and a waitress began taking the order of the table next to ours. By this time, 40 minutes had passed since we sat down and my husband, justifiably annoyed, asked the waitress who was taking the other party's order, whether someone was going to take our order, too, or if we should just get lunch elsewhere because we had been waiting nearly an hour at that point. The waitress was very apologetic and after putting in the other order, came back to our table and took our drink and food order (all we wanted to eat was a bbq chicken pizza). She again apologized and stated that the table we were seated at wasn't her table but that she would be happy to put our order in immediately. We eventually ate (bbq chix pizza was just OK, wouldn't order it again), and when it was time to pay, the waitress brought over our bill & said that she docked all of our drinks to help make amends for our long wait. We appreciated that gesture but have not returned since. While I still think The Grafton Stillery one of the more decent places to have casual meals and drinks in Ozaukee County, that second experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Maybe in the future I can give them another try.

Great recommendations by my server. Had a spotted cow and the grilled chicken sandwich. Loved their take on fries and the cheese curd and onion ring that topped my sandwich. Would definitely come back if ever in Grafton.

The other menu item I'm always to is the shake of the week. They always have a different one and they're always good. Oh, and I have to mention their salads. They both seem to be managers, but I'm not sure, though I wanted to recognize them. Both are older than the general staff and both are there various weekdays.

Using that 20%off made is reasonable to be able to order the subs. Upon looking at the receipt, I thought that the amount was more than I had calculated. The receipt only showed $10.00 for the 20% off. (My entire bill was $385.00) Which made the amount well above what I was expecting. Also noted that we could not obtain points because it was past the 4 days to enter. EVEN though we didn't pick up and pay for the order until the 19th. Upon asking the store manager about these questions he was polite and just stated that it was the corporate policy about the limit of $10 off. I did not note that on our phone conversation. And that yes, the 4 days had past. The manager gave us the corporate number to call. We did contact them and they just told us that it is the policy that the limit was $10.00. Even though we were not informed or that was noted on the coupon. All corporate would do is give an additional points. How would that help our past religious even or even a few subs credit. I have ordered from them before for this same event and had no issues. But the cost was also less which made it reasonable to use them. The subs were great and ready on time. My complaint is that the corporate offices are not in tune to keeping recurring customers. I will not be using Cousins again for any further functions. Will also try different Sub shops chains in the future.

This past weekend, they were at their usual Friday spot for the first time this season, so of course we stopped for some amazing food. My husband and his friend both ordered the brisket grilled cheese, my daughter had the fried chicken tenders and french fries, and I had the brisket Mac n cheese bowl with fried onions. Everything tasted as good as it sounds! I could seriously have that Mac n cheese bowl every single day and not get sick of it. Portions on all orders are huge! And their bbq sauces are honestly incredibly so darn good. I could not recommend this food truck enough. They make weekly stops in Slinger, Mequon, Grafton, Cedarburg and West Bend. Follow them on FB for their latest schedules and menu because you won't want to miss them this season!
