The interior is really my only complaint because aside from that, we had a great experience! Not pictured here but their stuffed pepper soup was delicious. Also loved the grilled cheese and chicken salad. Will definitely go back but hope they're able to clean the inside a bit soon! I really think that'd help bring in more customers.

Like other reviews, the interior needs help! Badly! But the amazing friendliness from the server and the manager, the great large portions and yummy foods can almost make you overlook it. They are very accommodating. I'm a type one diabetic and eat keto, and they gladly took the bread off of my corned beef sandwich and put it on a bed of lettuce instead. The corn beef can definitely give Cleveland Slymans a run for their money. My husband raved about their fries that were perfectly cooked, seasoned and crispy. For two people with tip it it was almost $60. But the portions were so huge. I've never had such a large serving of coleslaw. It was amazing because I love, Love,Love love, coleslaw, and up here in Cleveland we get tiny little 2 ounce plastic things that are just an embarrassment. Our meal was lunch and dinner rolled into one and we weren't even hungry later in the day at all!

The place was smaller than I expected because I assumed it was a market due to the website haha but after learning more about how they get their meat from a local farm, I understood better. Was very pretty and modern inside with a twist of old fashioned decorative items like mason jar/wooden wheel chandeliers. Drinks came out fast, I got the banana old fashioned which was good. Not much banana flavor though but there was a subtle banana hint, so if you like an old fashioned on the sweeter side, I'd say you'd enjoy this cocktail. The food was good, we started with the soup of the day with was a DELICIOUS bacon Mac n cheese soup served with two pieces of naan (the naan was meh but overall good pairing with the soup). My partner had a chicken sandwich which he enjoyed even though he said it was pretty salty. I was very pleased with my T.F.R smash burger. But my favorite part of everything we ate were the fries! The FRIES! They were fried to crispy perfection and the batter was so fluffy and delish. They were very nicely seasoned and surprisingly had bits of garlic pieces throughout that you can eat or set aside.

Wifey chose Penn Station. Walking in, we were greeted by the staff and we stared at the menu for a few minutes. I requested a hot Italian large sub and wifey requested a small turkey club. They began making our sammiches immediately. When we approached the register, a staffer distracted the cashier and others by asking them questions about a spill on the floor and then mopping it up. As such, the cashier did not ring us up immediately. But she handed us drink cups anyway and we got our drinks from the fountain. After that, they delivered our sandwiches to our table. Then more customers arrived, which distracted the staff even further. After we finished our meals, we were wondering if they were going to let us pay. After about 15 minutes, the cashier asked my wife to come over and my wife paid for our meals. My hot Italian sub was pretty good, but pretty much every Italian sub I've ever had was better. So I don't really recommend that sammich. Our fries were cold. I should have asked for fresh fries, but I assumed everything was made to order. Nope! My wife didn't comment on her sammich, which means it was just average. Well, I guess I've seen what I needed to see. Jersey Mike's, DiBella's, and Jimmy Johns do this sub thing better.

The exterior of the building is not much to look at, but inside they have really made it charming. The entrées we chose were the classic eggs, Benedict and the quiche. Parking is very crowded, but you can usually park at nearby businesses. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given the option of waiting about 20 minutes for indoor seating or sitting outside with heaters. We chose outside. Even though it was raining, the heaters kept it comfortable and it was still a nice experience. The biggest issue was the wait for the food. It took about an hour for our meals to arrive. The staff was very apologetic and explained they were having issues, which we appreciated, but an hour is still a long wait. This was especially noticeable because the restaurant's website mentions that, due to limited space, guests are asked to limit their stay to about 75 minutes. The inside of the restaurant also felt very congested because of the front entrance layout and the constant flow of people coming in. One suggestion would be to add the bakery items directly to the menu so guests can easily order them with their meals instead of having to ask separately. Our server was very nice, and the food itself was good. I ordered the hash with scrambled eggs and a coffee, while my wife had a pot of tea and the Croque Madame. They also had specials available, but we decided to keep it simple. Sorry, no pictures -- we forgot to take them. Overall, the prices were slightly higher than normal for similar places we've visited.
