I knew from past experiences that calling a plumber, I'd be charged a hefty visit fee. TJ Handyman was the first to reach out and agree to come to my house to evaluate the situation Monday PM. He arrived pretty late on Monday PM. He looked at our fixture and helped give me 2 options. Replace the fixture completely or go through process of replacing the inter cartridge. I opted for replacing cartridge and go from there. We agreed that he'll come back the next day. He sourced the correct part ~30 miles away, came back the next day and fixed our kitchen faucet. He even put a sealing around the fixture so water wont leak into cabinet below. He did all of this extra work always with a smile and willingness to respond to all of my dumb questions. The best part is that when it came to settling, he was willing to charge me less than what other competitors were quoting. I respected that he wanted to under charge me, but I was happy to pay him competitive rates for the service he provided to us. TJ Handyman is new to Yelp and I am happy to provide his 1st positive feedback. I would like to work with him more on projects around our house that require handyman services. Left town for a day I was expecting him to show up. Said he was in Tahoe. I don't care what ethic you are everyone home should be treated the same way. To top it off he spit in my toilet didn't flush. Food droppings on the floor I saw more cans of soda and McDonalds bags than any work being done. Red flags I ignored them because the person seem nice weeks later I'm finding different things that I now how to get fixed. I was beyond understanding with delays on completely too advantage of - Just be careful out there especially for larger job. Do your homework and allow yourself to investigate. I was only try to be diligent with money I received from insurance to get my home back together. I hope this helps someone. However it's your choice. I suffer with anxiety I been able to sleep or rest since December. I'm not sure if these contractor realize the damage they cause mentally. If you're not skilled just say so to avoid problems & to keep clients. Honestly is key. lien and sue after falsifying license#. After I shared with him what experience- he used that. He use my neighbor water and told her not tell me. He seem very nice & professional but that changed. Honestly if he could not do the entire job he should have said so. I didn't bother to check his license until the end after the job was over. You can believe him if you like. He was paid 2500 through Zelle to his personal name not business on the contract that same day. Then he said I was the reason he couldn't make his trip. Neither one of these contractor are licensed and are shady. All I'm saying do your homework and then make a decision. I was naive and vulnerable. I think I have learned my lesson. If they are not licensed they can only do 500 Jobs, so be sure to check license # on contract. Some will use others, be careful was under a previous name Gadway's Finest Finishes.

Today I had my fence re-built by another fencing contractor only 4 years after Sevilla's Fencing first installed it. The fence just fell apart and disintigrated. The problems are numerous, first off they used poor quality materials. The wood was green and it shrunk over time. Next they didn't use enough boards for the job. There were gaps between the boards and the boards were stapled end to end so over time as they shrunk they finall just fell out. Today the other contractor informed me that they also didn't secure the base board and they only used about a 1/3 of the nails/screws they should have, and to top it off, they used the WRONG (smaller) screws! The fence is also crooked, but that pales in comparison to the rest of the issues. My neighbor who I share this fence informed me that she actually contacted Sevilla's a year or so back to complain and see if they would stand behind their work , but she was told by them that this was normal wear and tear and they wouldn't fix it. I am writing this as a warning to anyone who may also be looking at Sevilla's that they may want to get a few more quotes.

Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were able to get their tile specialist, Tyler, scheduled quickly. Tyler was fantastic to work with--he really listened to what I wanted, was flexible with my requests, and delivered an outstanding result. Danny has been awesome to work with from start to finish, would definitely recommend his services. He was very responsive and transparent with his capabilities, timeline, pricing, etc. and then delivered exactly what I was asking for. I wanted a shelf and plant grow light installed above a mounted TV on the wall in my living room with enough space to allow my plants to grow. Having a background in both structural engineering and construction, I knew this would be a bit of a challenging fix. Unlike other vendors I reached out to for a quote where I sent photos and was provided an estimate without a site visit, D'Mitri and team were transparent and said they couldn't make a detailed assessment based on the photos so sent someone out to visit. Once on site, the technician evaluated the issue, took photos, and was upfront in acknowledging this was a complex issue that he wasn't able to handle, but would discuss with the team. They determined that this was out of their area of expertise. What I really valued was 1) prompt and clear communication - they left email, texts, and calls to make sure I was informed and 2) they knew their limits. I've had too many poor experiences of contractors who say they're able to do a job only to realize they're in over their heads once they start the project and are asking for additional funds because their estimates were way off. While I can't speak to the quality of work, they left a great impression on me and will be keeping them on the books in case I need another home repair.
