YEAH! We finally have a dispensary in Hilo. What I have purchased thus far was the first indica they had in stock, Rift Alien. Excellent product. The inside of the shop is top notch-beautiful local wood display cases, spacious and professional. The sales staff I've dealt with so far is knowledgeable and friendly. The location is super easy to get to and has an excellent vegan restaurant in the same building...very handy. And there is plenty of parking. B.I.G. stock on hand is limited. This is through no fault of the owners...I think it's because of all the regulations they must adhere to for their distribution license. That said, even in the two weeks I've been in, they are stocking more varieties of bud and now have rosin. The sales crew has told me that cartridges will be coming... Be sure to sign up for advisory text messages to get the first information on new stains that are arriving daily. And to best all of this...you can order online. My medical purchase was an eighth of perfectly yummy Zkittlez (see picture). It has a strong citrus aroma. As a medical marijuana patient, I was very pleased with B.I.G. Hilo. I was able to ask questions about their products, & availability of products requested by those in the medical marijuana community, such as loose product for tea (glaucoma), ointments (arthritis, inflammation & muscle pain) & hard candy/lollipops (for advanced cancer), all of which they hope to offer in the future, upon legislative approval. Something else that was very important was that the staff pharmacist is willing to sit down with their patients & review their medications, to help educate about whether there would be any adverse effects with cannibis use. Have been coming here since opening and everything is getting better by the day selection and more specials. Everything that I have tried so far has been great to excellent Deathstar and tangie would be my favorite flavors. I am going to purchase a few of the distillate syringes today (buba Kush, and grape ape) and will review them on insta gram as #mynaextracts if anyone wants my honest opinion on these products.
