After reading reviews I thought we would try La Bellas, and I'm so glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were created by a very friendly lady at the front counter. We sat ourselves, ordered drinks and got them very quickly. We were there around 1:30 so it wasn't super busy. Our waitress so joking with us and super friendly. Ordered breadsticks, wings, and a 24 inch pizza. The breadsticks weren't anything special but not bad, wings were very delicious, sweet bbq wings with ranch, the pizza was the highlight, chicken, alfredo sauce, and pineapple, absolutely delicious! We got an Oreo pizza to celebrate a birthday which was too sweet for me but a hit with the kids. If I'm ever back in Amarillo I will definitely visit again! I have been a frequent customer of La Bella's Pizza since moving to Amarillo. They have even catered a graduation party for us, which they also managed to mess up (an order totaling close to $200). La Bella's pizza has been steadily and rapidly declining. The employees lack even the most basic forms of costumer service and professionalism, which is unfortunate because they do (*used to) make a pretty good pizza. Every dining, delivery, or take out experience I have had here over the past several months has been overshadowed by poor quality of food and service. It's absolutely sad to see my favorite pizza joint in town deteriorate to the point where I refuse to do any further business with their establishment. And whatever you do.... never ask for extra sauce or cheese on your pizza. Apparently, there is a 5 year old loose in the kitchen that thinks making a noodle-less lasagna slop and throwing it into a box qualifies as edible pizza. read more

I got a calzone and some chicken wings from here. Calzone was way bigger than i thought it was going to be. Very good dough and fillings. The wings were perfect. I had the mild wings. Not too hot at all if you are wanting some heat but not to ruin your meal. The beers are good. I had the pumpkin ale and the crackberry cider. The pumpkin ale was a very dark beer. It had a very good taste to it. The crackberry cider was very good. Not too aggressive like a cider can be. read more

We loved this pizza spot so much last year on a road trip that we literally made sure to stop in Amarillo SOLEY for this pizza. The cheese is salty and chewy and delicious and the pepperoni isn't gross and greasy. We order the 24" pizza and eat the entire thing just the two of us. I placed an order over the phone at 4:48pm and they said it should be ready in 20min. Okay 20min later I get there and they have employees meeting you outside, I tell the short glasses lady I have a pick up she goes to "check on it" and I sit in the bar area expecting it to be faster. Never see her again, I wait another 20min and nothing. If the employee with bright red hair had not stopped me in my truck I would have left. I tell her I had been waiting and says let me see. At 5:38pm gives me a pizza that felt hot so I didn't question it, I paid and left. I get home to eat a lukewarm pizza that should have been piping hot supposedly. Very disappointed and sad as my foreman was singing that locations praises today and that's what took me there. I do not plan on ordering pizza from them again. read more

I've always loved La Bellas but I don't know what the deal is lately with their pizzas. We order from them a lot and I would say maybe 1 in 10 pizzas ever has any sauce on it. This last time we actually even asked for them to go heavier on the sauce and it came empty again. Just cheese, toppings and crust with no flavor. At this rate I'm actually preferring their cheesy bread- at least it comes with marinara. I feel like another pizza night is wasted. read more

I chose this place while in town on business. I'm a big Green Bay Packer fan and I try to find a Packer bar whenever I'm in a new place. The Packer site listed this as a Packer bar so I figured I was in luck. Being pre season I know it can be tough to find games so I called ahead to make sure they would be showing the game. The girl answering the phone was not sure so she asked somebody else and she then told me that they would. I showed up a little before kickoff time and placed my order. At 7:00 I was looking at the different screens and did not see the game. I asked the bar tender if they were showing the game and she told me that she would put it on. She could not find the game on the guide. She tried texting somebody, and then told me that she was going to the back to ask her boss what channel it was on. She came back and still could not find it. She then told me that her boss was going to print out the channel list so she would know where to find it. 20 min. later there was still no list. I asked her to box up my pizza and left. If you can't or won't show the game just tell me. As for the food I had a 14" Supreme and also an order of cheese curds and jalapeno poppers. I was given no forks or napkins. I kept reaching for the little napkins that they place your drinks on. The pizza and appetizers arrived at the same time. Perhaps they don't understand the meaning of appetizer. The pizza was good, but I'll admit that there haven't been many pizzas I don't like. Stay away from the appetizers. They are just frozen things put in a fryer. The oil seemed like it might have been old. For $25 I could have done better. read more

While traveling across the country, on Aug. 16th, my husband and I stopped at the brand new LaQuinta, 9305 E Interstate 40, in Amarillo, Texas. We received several restaurant recommendations, and decided to give a local restaurant, La Bella Pizza, a try. Upon calling, at just before 8pm, the phone was answered by a young girl, who took my order - 2 meatball subs, a half gallon of unsweetened tea, and a 20 oz diet Coke. The ordering would have been easier, if someone there had turned down their music - I had to keep repeating myself, and could barely hear her. I specifically told her my location, and gave her the address of the LaQuinta hotel, and she said that it would be between 45 minutes and an hour, which was fine. About 45 minutes later, we received a call from the delivery driver, who said he was at the door. Nope, he had gone to the wrong hotel. About 10 minutes later, he arrived and delivered our food. He left, and we prepared to finally eat our dinner. We opened the food wrappers, and discovered soggy meatball calzones! There's a big difference between a meatball sub and a calzone! Which would have been acceptable, I guess, but we had no utensils - knife or forks, and no napkins. Needless to say, next year as we travel through Amarillo, Texas, we won't consider LaBella Pizza. And we certainly won't recommend them to others. read more

I go to Amarillo College and one of my classmates works there. So I go to try it out, and I was blown away by this small little hole in the wall place. The pizza was absolutely great, the service was also top notch, and the wings were delicious. I will be back for more! read more

I was craving a gyro and couldn't get ahold of Vince's so I searched for other places that serves gyros and was glad to find La Bella's does! They serve a choice of chicken or lamb. It was very good and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys gyros. It hit the spot for me. The service was also friendly, too! read more

I order from La Bella's on Hillside all the time so I thought it would be nice to get pizza for everyone at work. First I received the wrong order and finally 30 min later I received the correct order. It was cold and had been setting in a bag a long time, toppings were extremely skimpy, crust was like a cardboard box. Overall not impressed and will not order from this one again. To ad insult to injury if was $62.00 (jalapenos were $1.50 for a side). I will never buy from this one again. read more

I usually love to order from here!! But tonight, when I ordered I asked if we could please have mushrooms on the side instead of on the pizza, the lady hesitated.. This should have been my red flag. LaBellas is a shining star in a pizza baron land. The pizza was good, however, the thing that really sets this place apart from its competitors is said in one word. EXPERIENCE. Wonderfully outfitted with a modern and classic style I really loved waiting out front and just peering in. Its a really cool ambiance. So much so that after leaving the pizza side with my carryout I had to walk in and see the dining side. They had posters of my "heroes." All of the Don's and their subbosses. Beyond that the beer selection was many, and most importantly the young man behind the counter was clearly very passionate about the beer selections. He told me about Untappd, which is a unique way to track the beers you try, and see what is on tap, or in the fridge (for bottles and cans) ahead of my visit. I had one of the beers from my six pack last night and it was exactly as described. He clearly knows his stuff. No masks inside, if that is a worry. However, cardboard, pizza, and glass are very hard to carry the virus from what I have read. I can't wait for the time when I'll be comfortable to eat inside. This is clearly a very different LaBellas than some of the other locations around town. Incredible Pizza prices, and the young lady who brough the pizza out had a huge smile.
