I was midway driving to go shopping in Palm Springs when I craved a smoothie, so I went to Google Maps and found this store with 5 star reviews. I thought it was a safe bet. The shop itself has beautiful decor and much lovelier than the store I frequent near my house. There was one person ahead of me and I watched as the lady taking her order did so with a bothered attitude, annoyed mostly with the payment processor. OK, I get that. When it was my turn I was smiling at her and happily placed my order, and the response I got from her was annoyance and frankly, gave me dirty looks and never smiled. The other woman making the smoothies never looked at me but had the same sour face. I rarely encounter a vibe like this but it was very off-putting. There was the sound of children screaming behind a door in the back like they were in pain, it was so weird. I'm sure they were playing but still. Lastly, there was almost no air conditioning to speak of and this is on a day that is maybe 85 degrees but inside the store it felt swampy. I am giving it 3 stars for the decor and the fact that the smoothie was delicious (24 oz. for a bit more than $12). There is no way I'll ever go here again because those women gave me the big time ick. This store made me realize how very important it is to have a good customer service experience. No matter how good the product is, sour service will put me off ever doing business there again.

I've tried both the Acai and Pitaya bowls, and both are really good. The almond butter they use tastes freshly made in-house, which is a nice touch. The green juice was also excellent, refreshing and flavorful. The only downside is the price, which is a bit high, but I'll keep coming back for a light, healthy breakfast when I'm in Palm Springs.

I used to love Big Juice Bar but it's gone down hill with the new employees working there... 2/18/24 I called at 10:30am for 2 açaí bowls and was told 20 minutes by the gentlemen on the phone. I arrived 20 min later and the bowls weren't done so I ordered a Johnny's Special coffee to add to the order which is just milk and espresso. When I paid with cash, they didn't have the full change so I let them keep the missing amount as a tip. Several people came in after me and received their orders first while I continued waiting for my order that never came. After another 20 minutes of waiting in store they finally brought out the bowls but didn't bring the coffee. The guy working said he needs to still make my coffee (he forgot). Rather than make my coffee right at that moment, he proceeded to work on 2 other orders first then finally made my coffee. I walked out with my order at 11:15am to find my açaí bowls were completely melted into a soup-like consistency. In short, it took 45 minutes to make my small order and over 4-5 customers that came in after me were served first and I was left with an unappetizing breakfast and money lost... I really hope Big Juice Bar can get back to their original consistency and great service they once had. When management is working at the establishment, things run great, but the last couple times I've been in, it's gone down hill. I hope they can get things turned around.

Me and my fiance took a trip to Palm Springs and we hit up this place at least 4 times. The smoothies were incredible! Blended to perfection. The inside was cute and clean and they were playing good music. He got the P&B Shake and Greens Juice. I got a Gorilla Berry with Oreos and an Oreo Shake a diff day. Wow I wish we had a place like this in the Bay Area. The staff was hella cool and helpful. read more

I am not much of a smoothie person but on a hot day after golf we stopped in. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly, helpful and patient as we took time deciding. We both decided to try the peanut butter cup and it was delicious!! It was like having a dessert and I wanted more when I was done. The shop is clean, plenty of space to sit down and to enjoy your smoothie. Parking is easy, many spaces available out front. We could only wish for a smoothie shop like this in Los Angeles. Definitely stop in and give it a try, you won't regret it. Enjoy! read more

Quality of the food has always been great, but today (2/1 at 5:30 PM) the service was terrible. My boyfriend ordered a matcha, and the girl behind the counter acted like he was bothering her when he asked about the drinks. We sat outside for a bit with about 15 minutes until closing. Then another employee with curly black hair and blonde streaks came outside and started putting away one of the tables next to us. It felt like she was slamming them on purpose to make us aware they were closing. They weren't polite at all. Also, one of the employees was sweeping and pushed stray wrappers and debris onto the walkway--literally just a few inches away from me. Not okay. read more

Got a 16oz latin frap & 16oz brown sugar white mocha latte with oatmilk, a total of $19.something. Price is on the higher side but I don't mind paying for quality. Unfortunately, the latte tasted like pure oatmilk, neither brown sugar nor white mocha, very disappointing with a drink that cost almost $10. On the other hand, the latin frappe was tasty. I always like patronizing local businesses but the service is terrible here! Every time I have come in every employee acts like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. They don't say a word when you come in and said nothing when they come to the register to take my order. I am always very kind to them but they can't be bothered to have any customer service skills. The service is horrible. First and last time here! I asked what the base was for the juices and if it had ice? Her reply was " what's on the menu is what's in it." Like be so for real after the eye roll that I gave her she offered to add ice and it was pressed. That was the CORRECT way to reply in the first place. It's your job to educate your potential customers in a professional manner. It was really slow so they had time. 4pm on 19APR2025. Check your cashier/ barista! The juices are great, made to perfection. I got the sunrise which is a very good choice. The service was excellent. I was greeted as I walked in, I wasn't rushed to order I was able to look over the menu and order. They made my drink quick and efficiently. The ambiance was great. Came in the other day for a coffee date. Had their vanilla latte and it was absolutely fantastic! The sweetness was perfect and was just a perfect amount of strength in the espresso. Was hungry so had the chicken Caesar wrap and LOVED it! It had spinach instead of romaine, major game changer! Staff was quick to take my order and friendly. The food was ok tasting, I got the chicken and rice bowl but the chicken was a really weird texture. The workers were pretty rude. When I walked in, 3 girls were just standing there and didn't even acknowledge me. Then I sat at the counter for a min before one of them even turned around. The brain and heart drink I got tasted like nothing. I probably won't be going back as it was just so mediocre. read more

So happy to find a great juice bar near my home! Always, fresh, generous portion sizes, and service is pretty fast. Waiting on a door dash order as I type this, lol. My only complaint is the air conditioning needs to work better. I was in yesterday and it was really hot in there, made it uncomfortable to wait on my order, and I felt bad for employees who looked a little sweaty and hot. But I'm a happy return customer for sure read more

A huge shoutout to Robb and his team for the outstanding service and organization. They made one less thing for our coaches and parents to worry about during a busy tournament weekend. I normally have a great experience when the male employee is working. Today, there were two young females on shift, and the difference in service was very noticeable. As I walked in, there was no sense of urgency or even a basic greeting. It looked like they were in the middle of cleaning, and one had gloves on, which is understandable, but a simple "Welcome" or "We'll be right with you" would have completely changed the experience. As someone who comes here often, I already know what I like to order. When one of the employees, who had long acrylic nails, came to take my order, she said nothing at all. No greeting, no "Are you ready," no "What can I get you." Just silence. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I also noticed she had removed her gloves after cleaning and went straight to the counter without washing her hands, which is concerning, especially given the nails. After I placed my order, she immediately moved to process payment without confirming if I wanted anything else. There was no effort to engage or ensure the order was complete, which added to the overall lack of professionalism. The most concerning part of my visit happened when my drink was ready. As I went to pick it up from the bar, I saw one of the employees, the one with a piercing on her cheekbone, drinking from the blender that was used to make my drink. She stopped midway when we made eye contact. That alone was unacceptable. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially because I have had good visits here before. The Juice should take more care in hiring and training staff to ensure basic customer service and hygiene standards are met. Because I work nearby in a role that relies heavily on networking and customer experience, I will be sure to share this experience with my colleagues so they are aware if they consider visiting while similar staffing is in place.

They have all the selection of flavored dole soft serve. There's a wall with all the selections. Same concept with the frozen yogurt where you grab a cup, serve yourself and add your topping and then it gets weight. Except it's the dole flavors. Then there's the ice cream counter with whatever flavors you crave. Loads to choose from that it can be overwhelming, but in a good way....lol. Besides a scoop of ice cream, they also offer the fancy creation. Shakes, sundae, bananas splits, ice cream sandwiches and so much more options. I kept it simple this time with two scoops of salted caramel and cookies and cream. Classic yet so good. We now know what this place is all about and it's definitely a favorite so far. He arrived a few minutes early and went inside to wait. The man behind the counter asked what he wanted to order, and Joe politely explained that he would wait to order until his friend arrived in about five minutes. The employee told Joe that he could not wait inside unless he was ordering ice cream immediately. Joe again explained that his friend was almost there, but the man nastily told him to wait outside instead. My husband, not wanting any confrontation, went outside and stood in 104° weather waiting for his friends. When they arrived, they all went inside and still spent about $25 on ice cream. What upsets me most is that there was no apology, no explanation, and the store was completely empty at the time. Nobody should be treated this way, especially over simply waiting a few minutes for a friend inside an ice cream shop. I will absolutely be contacting the manager or owner to understand why this happened. I can also guarantee that I will never recommend or return to Monster Shakes after hearing about this disgraceful treatment of my dear husband.

This place is our favorite juice bar in Coachella valley. We've been to many places and this is our favorite. The drinks are consistent. The shakes are always the perfect texture. They must have top of the line blenders and reciepes. The staff are welcoming and friendly. My kids love this place to and look forward to having their healthy beverage, although they are usually very picky. We go out of the way to come here and they have alot of choices to choose from. 10 stars from us! read more

The smoothies are really good and they give great customer service. My personal favorite is a strawberry banana smoothie, and it makes it even better that the location is close to a gym.
