Oh yes!! Fun variety, an amazingly nice and great staff, and a generally great place for casual dessert. I just had the simple scoop ice cream, but there was soft serve and other treats. It was tasty! I had the watermelon frozen yogurt with a side of watermelon boba. My husband got strawberry frozen yogurt with some toppings. The staff is friendly. It's tucked away near the movie theater so it's perfect for grabbing a sweet treat before or after. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy in a beautiful sunny day. They don't allow samples of the yogurt which I found a tad odd. But I would return. read more

I think this is my favorite date shake spot. Kinda pricey, but there are actual pieces of dates at the bottom which are tasty. Not totally a fan of the vegan coconut base, I think oat or almond milk is better. But still not bad. The regular date shake milk base was the best though obviously, so good with the butter toffee flavor (took sips)! I think that flavoring was put in (didn't totally clarify that we wanted it but maybe the staff guy heard me say it which is fine lol--btw, sorry Mr. Staff guy for scaring you initially when you were getting ready to close up & we walked in; other customers came in last minute too oops but we appreciated you!). Too bad I'm lactose intol. I got an allergic reaction from nut contamination at Great Shakes that upset me. Lappert's was not good either with their coconut based date shake (my least fav). This menu is so insane and fun; probably the highlight of our trip to Palm Springs for my kids, haha! The options are basically endless. While we tried to make sense of the combos and options, my son was pretty set on a giant blue Cookie Monster smoothie. Of course they top that wild thing with a pound of whip and a cute lil donut. Monster Shakes in the fall had me doing the Monster Mash! This frozen dessert, smoothie, juice and bowl bar spot was the perfect place to pop in after a day of fun in the sun. One of two locations in the Coachella Valley - Monster Shakes - Cathedral City is located in the Cat City hub off (East) Palm Canyon Drive on Pickfair St/Buddy Rogers Ave by the Mary Pickford Theater and Cathedral City Civic Center near many shops, eateries and scenic parts of CC. I spotted Monster Shakes and knew it was meant to be. Pulled up their menu on my phone with a QR scan on their front door... Figured out what to order and got the best customer treatment being the only customer in when I walked in (some others just finishing up previously and a pick up order or so while I was enjoying some yummy bliss). I went with the Vegan Date Milkshake, which was total awesomeness... Probably the best thing I had while up in the C.V. for several days. And also an Acai Bowl which was loaded with granola nuts, fresh fruit and all things energy bowl. My only issue was the acai itself being overly frozen so it took longer to get through and enjoy, but overall was pretty awesome. Inside is fun, bright and clean. Restroom was fairly up to par and gender neutral. Easy parking very close by for/in this mall plaza center of sorts - including some spots right in front! The guy who made everything was nothing but cool, chill, funny and friendly. Great personality (believe he might be an owner). Definitely stopping in again. read more

I was disappointed after getting a pina mango shake instead of my regular açaí shake. Tommy at the Cathedral City location refused to substitute the banana with blueberries. Never had an issue before when requesting the substitution, however the last couple of times, I was told it can no longer be an option. The pina mango shake didn't even taste right so for someone allergic to bananas, the shake options are utterly limited when substituting is not allowed. Gonna have to get my shakes from other places from now on read more

Centrally located in downtown CatCity across from the theater and sitting in the middle of several restaurants with ample parking all around. This was our first time here. Monster Shakes is my favorite Shake shop anywhere. I stop in every time I am in town. I really like that they keep coming up with new stuff. They've recently opened a second location which is great. I tried the new strawberry Oreo shake and it was solid. My favorite so far is their other strawberry shake. This is a great place for people of all ages. The salsa deserves its own shoutout because it was THAT good. The customer service was excellent too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe made us want to come back... which we did the very next day! This time we tried the tres leches espresso and the iced churro espresso, and both drinks were incredible. We'll definitely be coming back on future trips and referring friends and family!

Breakfast burritos are great here. One of my favorite in the desert. They're like Taco Bell burritos but better. Simple and quick. Coffees are weak though. Might be instant. Now if I can just get them to answer their phone line.

She did greet me with a cheerful "good morning" when I walked through the door. She seemed somewhat busy. And I figured it was just another hurry up and get my stuff and leave. I was the third person in line waiting to pay. I was honestly amazed when she went to the check out and called the next person in line. This lady was operating two cash registers. And speaking to everyone. I was treated like a "regular" even though I had never stepped foot in the store before. As she was ringing me up for my coffee and donuts, she asked me how I was, and how my day was. This whole one minute conversation we had I felt like I was important to that business. If only other stores had employees like her. I know that 7-Eleven looks at her as a lowly little cashier. But she made a difference to me on that day. And I do hope to see her again.

There was one slice left, and the customer in front of me bought it, along with almost everything else what was hot. I don't blame the customer, but the lone slice of pizza looked pretty sad, as if it had been sitting there a while. Although I've found a few seconds in the microwave can usually zap them back to life. Since I wasn't even greeted when I came, and this particular customer was taking a while, I decided to leave. It's a bummer to because I went out of my way for a slice of pizza and Cherry Slurpee and left with neither.

I got an iced lavender almond milk latte. I like that they have the option of using unsweetened or sweetened almond milk, you often don't have that choice. There are also 3 size options, the larger size has 4 shots whereas the other two sizes have two shots. I got the medium two shot version. It was lightly sweet from the lavender syrup and a nice little caffeine boost for my day. Friendly staff here too!
