I was looking for a delicious dessert and couldn't pass up and see what Monster shakes is about. I yelped through the pictures and several monster shakes caught my eye. But there is so much more available when you visit. It's so much worse! Everyone can leave with something sweet they're craving whether it be something simple from a scoop of ice cream to something extreme like a monster shake! There are so many options, you are sad leaving with only one! You can get ice cream, a sundae, Dole soft serve or have your dessert made! I couldn't decide which monster shake I wanted... Oreo cookie coma, Espresso your self, or Nothing to snicker about. I was so torn, the owner was super helpful! She answered all my questions and more! A Sweet Surprise: Dole Soft Serve in Every Flavor I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They had Dole soft serve -- the kind I usually only find in Hawaii at the Dole Plantation. Here, though, they had it in just about every flavor you can imagine: strawberry, orange, pomegranate, lemon, and more. I tried several flavors but ultimately put most of mine in the pineapple (check out my before picture below no after picture because it was so hot, I ate it too fast!). Service was excellent, too. Came by with the fam during spring break. LOVE the self serve dole whip! Don't be like me and turn your attention away when your 10 year old is serving himself - turned back and he got himself 19 oz with a smug look on his face. Having ALL the dole whip flavors is amazing though, incl the less common flavors like lemon, watermelon, strawberry. Per other comments, some of the toppings were stale. Mochi bits were rock hard. I got the mangonada which was delicious with the dole whip. Their version is basically mango dole whip with chamoy and tajin. I realized I could've made it myself at the self serve bar (since chamoy and tajin are avail toppings) though I'd be missing the tamarind straw, but that would let me customize the size a bit more. Kids enjoyed the ice cream too and my husband liked his milkshake, though I had to remind the staff he was missing the mini donut on top. Staff was helpful but not super warm/nice. I think the poor woman wasn't having a great day as she definitely seemed like she was over all the tourists, ha. The customer service here is amazing. My son and I came here on a recent vacation based on the positive reviews. When we first entered and I tried to read their rotating menu, a staff member offered me a copy of a menu to make it easier for me to read. I was taking a photo of the screens so I could read them. The manager was also there and she answered all my questions about their Acai Bowl. She offered to eliminate the granola since it wasn't gluten free. I don't like to be an annoying customer with lots of questions but my son has Type 1 Diabetes so I needed to know exactly what was going to be in the Acai Bowl and how much. The manager was so accommodating! She had a worker there who was being trained and I think the answers I got helped her staff member too. The Acai Bowl was fresh and delicious. Upon walking in we were instantly greeted by 2 young men who were super nice and helpful. They offered us samples and told us what they offered when we said it was our first time in. They had so many choices it was hard to decide. My husband landed on an espresso coffee and chocolate shake and I had 2 scoops in a cup of the banana heath and espresso coffee ice cream. Y'all...this was DELICIOUS! They blended that shake several times. It was the smoothest shake we'd ever had and the flavors were outstanding. Not to mention both guys working were total sweethearts. These are the kind of employees businesses need. This place needs to be shown some real love, I highly recommend it! The shakes are fantastic--more like a work of art than just a couple ingredients tossed into a blender like you get in many other places. But my favorite thing is the big row of self-serve soft ice cream machines featuring an enormous selection of various fruit flavors. The Dole pineapple is my favorite, but I usually sneak a little taste of a couple other flavors in the same container. Mmm. Then you pay based on the weight of what you've chosen. And don't forget to give them your phone number to get credit in their frequent guest program. I only have two suggestions for improvement: (1) please bring back that tart flavor similar to Pinkberry and (2) please remove all the calories. Highly recommended. Treat yourself! read more

Nothing too flashy but a nice place to enjoy the sweet smells and one prize machine game. FOOD: 2 Scoops - Rocky Road & Strawberry Blend (Recommend) Two delicious mixes. You can't go wrong with a nice nutty fill of chocolate and fruity sweetness of strawberry. They also charge a $1 for any extra toppings, I got the Reeses' PB and it was delicious. It was like a PB&J with chocolate! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Thomas was great! Friendly and knowledgable about the menu. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. I had a great time here. Reasonable prices, great choices, and delicious ice cream. If I had the metabolism, I probably would've taken one of their monster shakes. However, they still have other delicious sweet bites.
