Their pediatrician also mentioned that they would need some extra work at home with specialists. I was referred to High Quality Home Therapy. I was skeptical at first because I live in Oxford and they are located in Stamford. That's quite a hike to travel and a bunch of traffic both ways! I was pleased to find out that I was able to have all the therapy and other services performed at my home. They ALL came to me. What a relief! My three children were provided with amazing services. I thought they would see all three for up to 45 minutes, but I was wrong. They saw each for a full 60-90 minutes each. My youngest has the most services as he struggled during COVID in school and needed special tests and a different course of therapy. He received two or three therapists/specialists twice per week. Everything was arranged by Dr. McAllister herself. I told her when the kids had time and she asked when would be convenient and I said please give me a schedule that works best with her staff. She said thank you and gave me a schedule right aways. She worked with my insurance, more like twisted their arm to get me the services my three children needed. I couldn't believe that my insurance initially told me they would not cover anything by three separate letters, however, after she worked behind the scene I received a letter for 20 approved sessions per therapist and specialist and all the additional testing my children required. When my kids required additional sessions she was able to get the insurance company to approve additional sessions, beyond what is in my plan...amazing. I've never seen such dedication and passion from any medical professional. My three boys are all doing better. My youngest has made huge improvements. All of this is because of Caryn McAllister. I think the best surprise was one of the therapists was a former student of mine. What a treat to see how one of my former students has succeeded and she kept telling me how much she loves her boss and company. It made me feel so good about working with High Quality Home Therapy. I only had one issue and it was with my insurance company where they refused to cover one service. I fought hard to challenge it. Dr. McAllister had my back and then she told me that they won't bill me for it again. I was very impressed. It did take a while for the bill to get taken care of. About a month later I found out that Dr. McAllister was not able to get the bill approved and removed from my obligation. She took care of it. I don't know specifics but I didn't have to pay for that bill. Wow. I know that her patients also appreciate and actually care for her. I am also a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist and have met many patients of hers and they all say wonderful things about the service they receive and level of care and detail. I can't believe I didn't write this review sooner. If anybody in my family requires therapy in the future we certainly will use only Dr. Caryn McAllister.

Ok, my mistake I get it, BUT ironically a month later, they screw up and forget to schedule us. We show up and wait, we didn't get compensated. My husband took off from work. I tried to schedule a make up session and got dismissed b/c they were busy. I overheard a therapist talking badly about us clear from another room. When confronted, they blamed it on another parent. That was a lie and even if it was true, my child's treatment, history, etc should never have been discussed where another parent could hear. That is a clear HIPAA violation. Therapy is good, but those little things left a bad taste in my mouth.

Kelsey is able to keep our son engaged for 45 minutes a session and provides excellent tips to integrate speech exercises into our daily routine. She spent four months with our family and during that time became such a consistent positive presence in our daughter's life. Kelsey brings positive energy to each session and the child feeds off of it. She got to know our daughter on a very personal level, her likes and dislikes, and brought activities that fit well in the greater scheme of how our daughter learns. Our sessions were incredibly productive. When she first came, our daughter could only say 15-20 words. When Kelsey left four months later, our daughter was speaking in full paragraphs. I have gone to Ivy Physical Therapy for an arthritic knee and more recently for an arthritic hip…read more I have found that Ivy helped me to make substantial improvement in my condition. They have a method that works which consists of time spent with a physical therapist followed by intensive supervised expercise. My condition was constantly being monitored and the program progressed as appropriate. I would also like to point out that should one need it they have a reasonable self pay rate. A big shout out to Chesson Clement, Clinic Director, for his kind and compassionate care.

The office manager is difficult to get a hold of via telephone because her office hours are seemingly limited. However, as stated, email is reliable. When she started, she was on sensory overload, couldn't really walk, couldn't climb, had really low muscle tone, wouldn't eat anything, and a host of other concerns. Now she is a totally different kid. She jumps, climbs, runs, (kinda) eats, and is so well adjusted. When we first started, her tantrums would alarm anyone within ear shot. Now, it's been months since she has thrown a tantrum. Her therapists genuinely care about her and her progress. She recently had her CPSE evaluation and her progress is remarkable. She will continue to see her therapists at WTS until she ages out of CPSE and by then I am confident she will be doing all of the age appropriate things.
