We paid in full, over $5700, using our credit card and were told our order would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. On 5/25, after contacting them several times and being told they had no idea where in the process our order was, we contacted Bassett directly and were told 1) our order was not even placed until 3/30 and 2) our order was not even in production yet. We were assured by Shauna at that time that if we did not cancel the order with them that we would have it in June. On 6/28, my husband went to the store and was told, again by Shauna, that they did not have the order but they could surely have it in July. Also, that they are moving, which was evident by the appearance of the showroom, but couldn't give out a forwarding address yet. He asked then that the order be cancelled and we be given a full refund. We will see if this company has any integrity, and returns our money after this debacle.

I read that a lot of items come from Asia (I saw a lot from India) and apparently they have buyers that just go out and look for this type of eclectic furniture in bulk and one offs. Rugs are some of the best deals I have seen (good quality and good price). If you need a piece to really stand out (and no one else has) this is the place to go! They also have free popcorn and fruit drink in the front for customers!

They had 6 shelving units and you could actually see EVERYTHING on them at a place. However, oddly, they did have lots of picture frames. Go figure. I usually go to GW for my dog toys, stuffed animals they can chew up, but this facility had basically none. The prices on clothing was about par for the industry and nicely displayed, but again, very limited for the size of the store. The one good thing is that on Sundays, they have 50% off the marked price for seniors, meaning people 50 or over, with an ID.

They also do Alive after 5 in Hamilton and other events that are right in the center of the store. Sara is super sweet. Her products are a lot of home decor, gifts for women, clothes, scarves, jewelry etc. always something new when I go! My favorite part are the lamps. If you are ever in the market for a neat lamp, her husband makes them and they are amazing. All kinds of unique pieces turned into lamps. This is my go-to spot if I need a gift for my mom, sister etc or just something for myself :) She also does events with local Hamilton businesses.
