At Christmas time, I was able to get my dad, my nephew and my brother-in-law a beautiful 100% silk scarf for $10 each. I almost cried because I never have much of a budget and the men are always the hardest for me to shop for because there's not much you can get with $10, especially for a classy men like these. They always make a big deal out of my gifts and are very grateful because they know I can't afford much. But, this year, It made me so proud to be able to get them each something that they can wear and think of me. All three of them have worn their scarves each time I have seen them and they love them! I also found a nice fleece-lined beanie hat for my husband. She didn't say much of anything to me which I get it you are having a bad day and don't want to talk. But when the other 2 in my group came up and asked for her to honor a lower price on the same item she sighed and was like "I can get a manager to do that if you're gonna be mad about it." Then she didn't even do it right. My group went back up because they wanted the money off and she made another comment about us needing gas money. Real nice. My group all works in customer service jobs so we weren't being annoying even from the beginning.

They claim to have no control over them. They refuse to include any useful information (which only I can see) due to HIPAA. At the window, however, they think nothing of announcing RX names & personal information loud enough for everyone in the area to hear. (2) Then there's waiting in line for 20 mins to P/U a prescription only to find out I didn't come soon enought for their secret requirements & they put it back. They send me to another window where I have to wait in line again. They do whatever they do & send me back to the 1st window to wait in line a 3rd time. There has to be a better way. (3) Go in to P/U 2 prescriptions. One is not in stock. If they had notified me, I would've waited until both were ready before I went in. They tell me to come back tomorrow for it. I go back the next day & they still don't have it. Again, no notice. Had to back a 3rd. That's not customer service. (4) Tried asking a question about OTC meds in the pharmacy area. They claim NO responsibility for those med & know nothing about them. Who, then, does know?

Went in for cleaning and left with that and some desserts for tomorrow too. $37.74 Their Meijer brand danishes had high fructose sugar in some of them, didn't look so appealing, neither does their lemon square, way too thick of bottom crust for us.

First off, they stock way more things than any of the other Targets in the area that I go to. Whenever I'm looking for a specific item on the app and it's sold out at the stores around me, Brighton always has it in stock for pick up. Last Christmas I walked around and was amazed by how much more holiday decor they had available compared to other shops I had been to. Anyone who knows me knows I get a little holiday decor crazy so I definitely filled an entire cart with goodies. Their shelves are just so much more interesting than the other locations I go to. The grocery section is also pretty great and filled with way more than I typically see at my local Target. Recently I stopped in on a Sunday night and will say it was a bit cleaned out but that may have just been post-weekend shoppers. Any time I've gone mid-week it's been super stocked. This location also has a mini-Disney store inside which is only one of a handful in the state. It's not huge but they carry some things you'll only see in these mini-stores so it's worth browsing through if you have the time. My only complaint is, given the size of the store and how many people come through, they should have more than 4 self-check out kiosks. When I was there last they only had one register open so the self-check out line was pretty long. That would definitely ease things up a bit if they added some more.

So many valuable lessons learned! I've placed two online orders with Big Lot. Even though both…read moreorders showed they had the items in stock - BOTH orders were canceled as items were NOT available. On the second-order, I used a Visa Gift Card - HUGE mistake. I have contacted customer service via email twice with no resolution. I have contacted customer service by phone - no resolution. I have now been told in order to receive the $45 refund I need to go to the store or call the gift card company to get the refund processed. I will never shop online again with Big Lot and it's highly likely I will never return to their stores either - it's just too time-consuming dealing with all of the issues created by shopping here.
