A squeezie bottle of Duke's mayo is the same product here as it is in Publix only it's half the price. It's the same with the spices and the keto bread and the cleaning products. If you're willing to deal with the randomness of the shopping experience, Walmart can work for you. Early on a Sunday morning is usually the best option. Think of a Roses as a small-town Wal-Mart. It is a department store that has something in every…read moredepartment but no groceries. The store is bright and clean. Think Dollar General on steroids. Men's and women's clothes as well as children's take up about 1/4 of the store. They are not name brand fashions by any means, but for casual clothes & underwear, you can find a lot at very economical prices. Plenty of accessories for whatever season we are in. The middle & back are houseware-type items, and plenty to choose from. I have gotten great kitchen rugs, towels and chair cushions before. Lots of kitchen containers & fry and sauce pans, too. Even some of the "As seen on tv" items! There is a small pet department, along with an equally small automotive section. No problem - about what you might need in a pinch, or a quick store run on a weekend. Just the basics. Go further and you have toys and Seasonal. They had plenty of Christmas odds & ends when it came to lights and decorations. A small electronics section carries headphones & ear buds, and small speakers. Heading towards the cashier's you will pass the Health & Beauty Aids section which carries just about anything you might need. And of course the "quickie snack" section. They usually have cool Seasonal treats if you are looking for neat stocking stuffers!

Normally the ladies and younger workers are smiling and always speak and tell you about the size of the place and how awesome it is. I walked in today and noticed several workers chatting behind the desk. I grabbed a shopping cart as I normally do because there is a boat load of good stuff and I always leave having spent a ton on great items. There's literally 3 floors and massive sq footage of everything under the sun. I spend hours here because I'm a true thrifty and I check out every station/booth, around 200 spaces I think. I'm very observant and always aware of my surroundings. I noticed the 1st man come from behind the desk as soon as I walked to the first booth. I've seen him there before. He wears a crossbody purse and glasses. I continue my normal walk and scan. I see him out the corner of my eye look me up and down. He walked into a few of the same booths as I and walked off. I rounded the corner and there he was pretending to filter through some sports cards. I kept browsing and scanning and noticed his stares. I walked up to the second floor to confirm if I was being paranoid and sure thing, he followed. I made eye contact a few times thinking ok,I'll give him benefit of doubt, other people were shopping and I kept minding my business. A 2nd guy starts to follow me, I've seen him before as well, he has a hunch back of ND walk, he looks like a teenager, obvious and sloppy. I purposely went into a few women clothing and jewelry and furniture booths and he followed, making eye contact and pretending to shop, all the while looking at me every few seconds. I walked in his direction and at this point I've decided I'm leaving. I pull out my phone to record for my safety and call my bestie to let her know what's going on. As I'm recording he stops in a booth next to me pulls out his phone to text or pretend and I say very loudly how uncomfortable I'm feeling with these mall cops following and profiling me. He heard me, then he picks up a random candle holder he had already passed and walks away. Most of the vendors have personal video cameras in their individual spaces to deter shoplifters. There are also cameras everywhere. Why are they following ME. It was OBVIOUS and because of how they made me feel in that moment, the only poc, being follwed, I left and will never go back. If you are a vendor here, they are making you loose business. I Do Not recommend black and brown people patronize this place. They do not want you here.

As an avid thrift shopper and estate liquidation attendant, I offer from my experience that this location does not have deals or even reasonably reduced prices. Highly disorganized compared to goodwill, Salvation Army or other local thrift stores. The environment here is like your hoarder moms garage with a lot of unpacked boxes and a few things showing on top here and there. Pricing is terrible. For example, I found a Youth Dual basketball game, in pictures. The only thing I was interested in talking to them about. Online, I can purchase and have Amazon deliver me one for $10 more than they had this priced in the store, and I had no way to get it home as it was already assembled and bulky. They didn't even consider a discount when I presented them the Amazon price. No Negotiating, prices are as marked. The owners, a husband and wife, communicated in broken English. There could be some things lost in translation, but I think "No, price is, no changing" is clear enough.
