Despite these perpetual staffing puzzles, my cart inevitably overflows with products for my coily hair and laundry detergents--two of my weaknesses. So it's a regular Thursday, and $124.00 later, I write this. Skip ROSES for fashion. But come for home essentials at a low cost. I've been a customer for over seven years. While lines are [always] too long, associates are generally friendly and try hard. I do get the vibe that returns might be tricky, though I could be mistaken. As an avid thrift shopper and estate liquidation attendant, I offer from my experience that this location does not have deals or even reasonably reduced prices. Highly disorganized compared to goodwill, Salvation Army or other local thrift stores. The environment here is like your hoarder moms garage with a lot of unpacked boxes and a few things showing on top here and there. Pricing is terrible. For example, I found a Youth Dual basketball game, in pictures. The only thing I was interested in talking to them about. Online, I can purchase and have Amazon deliver me one for $10 more than they had this priced in the store, and I had no way to get it home as it was already assembled and bulky. They didn't even consider a discount when I presented them the Amazon price. No Negotiating, prices are as marked. The owners, a husband and wife, communicated in broken English. There could be some things lost in translation, but I think "No, price is, no changing" is clear enough. I ordered online for store pickup to save on shipping and when I arrived noticed this wasn't a typical Dick's store. Makes sense why my flask was so much cheaper. They make it easy to pickup an online order curbside or in store. In your confirmation email you just check in and a notification is sent to a point person at the store. I think I even heard a doorbell ring. With this method you don't need to show ID. Of course I had to do a quick browse, and the prices are very reasonable. The store appears to be well stocked too. I didn't make it past the tops because they were about to close, but I'll definitely return to find some workout gear. I like that you can use your phone to price check anything in the store, that should be a standard at all stores. I grabbed a couple of shirts and can't wait to return.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. The store use to be filled with all pre-owned donated goods. Now more than 1/2 of the stores looks like Target liquidation & other new items. These items are black and never going sale. I had three bikes that needed a tuneup to be Summer Road ready and after researching three of the…read moretop local bike shops I chose Cabarrus Cycling. I called them one afternoon and spoke with Tim who told me to bring the bikes in. I arrived 30 minutes later and Tim greeted me with a hearty welcome and introduced me to Jacob the bike mechanic who checked the bikes in for a level one tuneup. Three were different types of tuneups that your bike can get; a level one starts at $80 and that includes checking the gears, tightening the chains, adjusting the brakes, checking the inter-tubes and tires and filling them with air if needed, and washing the bike. Level two and three encompasses a level one plus more. The bikes were supposed to take a few days, but Jacob got them done the next day. This is a great local bike shop, not only are they quick with the repairs but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is clean, and fully stocked with a large selection of bikes, helmets and accessories. Oh yes and they do offer a 10% discount to Police, FD, paramedics, and Military. Cabarrus Cycling highly recommended!
