She asked what size I was looking for and, I said "a large" which made her laugh. She took me to get sized making sure to leave room for my neck. The first shirt she had me try on was a perfect fit! Next was the bow tie. I said a yellow would suffice, but she insisted she had a gold one somewhere. She was right, it was the only true gold bow tie she had! She even tied it and let me keep it so I don't have to (I've never tied one before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)! I almost forgot the pants but once I mentioned it, she was on it! When I walked in, there was only one scooter available, and it appeared to be fully charged. Unfortunately, after I sat down and started to use it, it died almost immediately near the entrance. Because of my physical limitations, I wasn't able to move it myself and had to call for assistance. The employees were polite, but I was disappointed that no one checked the other entrance to see if another scooter was available. Instead, they told me one scooter was out of service and the other two were in use. As I was leaving, I saw another scooter, so I'm not sure if that was one that had been in use or if it had actually been available. I understand that equipment can malfunction, but working mobility scooters are an important accessibility resource for customers who rely on them. It would be helpful if they were checked regularly to make sure they're charged and operational, and if staff could verify availability at both entrances before telling customers there aren't any available. I hope this was just an isolated incident because I usually enjoy shopping at Target. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that accessibility can continue to improve for those of us who depend on these scooters.

This was a phone call to the desk. No formal person to say any of this. Just a phone ringing..... Why would I travel 30minutes to this store to retrieve a 14.99 shower curtain. Although the cashier tells me to go look and if I can find another one, she'll just give it to me. Now make that make sense. Bad business.......
