We recently tried the Fredrik's Meijer brand frozen pizzas and they were awesome! The crust was so crispy and delicious as were the toppings. One of the things that has changed over the years is the number of employees that work the lanes. They don't have conveyor belt self-checkout, just the one where you can fill like 2 bags. I asked, since I had a massive cart full of groceries, if I could have someone ring me out. They said I'd have to wait, 2 hours, until 9:00 because "we don't have anyone working". Mind you, there were dozens of employees in the store, many of whom were chit chatting "stocking shelves". So Walmart is now paying an employee to walk around the store with my cart putting everything I selected back on the shelf, or likely having to throw it all away because it's food, because they refused to scan my goods. Well played, Walmart. The $30 you would have had to pay ONE worker to be the checkout person from 7:00-9:00 would have been cheaper than the $400 of groceries. Honestly, it was pretty satisfying. Maybe I'll just start filling carts up every morning and walking out of the store until they stop treating their customers like they are their employees. If everyone in the US just did this once a week we could probably bankrupt Walmart in a year or two... revolution anyone?

I hoped to find a purse that has a full size flat pocket on the backside of the purse for my handicap placard and for my small file of half fold papers. The space of the main compartment needed to be roomy enough for the contents I always carry; double pack epipen, purse calendar, wallet, checkbook, mini first aid kit, pens, notepad, cell phone, keys.i hoped that I could find a satchel style that had a double handle that I could carry in my hands or hike up on my shoulder. My husband realized several weekends ago that I was shopping online for a purse. He steered me to JCPenney.com because they were having a sale that went through that Sunday. What could be better than buy one,get the second one free. After spending the day looking at pictures and reading descriptions I found two purses to order. I kept my fingers crossed until they arrived that they were going to be right but knew JCPenney is good about accepting returns if they were totally wrong. So I had to be the one standing in line waiting to get a price on this scarf. As i was standing there waiting, it occurred to me that SHE should have been the one waiting for a price...not me. I don't work there!!! so with that, i put the scarf back and they can shove it where the sun don't shine. VERY poor customer service!! Never again. why should i have to get the price??? are they not trying to sell their crap? (Of course, I looked all through the department and didn't see another scarf like it)

This store is a men shoes is like shopping at a poorly sourced goodwill. The men's section is absolutely the finest selection of them all (and also pretty terrible at that. Where in bigger cities Ross can be killer place to find gems, this Ross has had the same shoes stocked for the past month straight. Travel 90 miles north and it's like a whole different experience (and better prices as well). I can be in and out of this place in 5 minutes and most of the times empty handed.
