Wendy created a fabulous robe, beautiful veil with the lace from her dress, wrap for my flowers and a precious handkerchief for my mom by using a square of her gown and then cut-out a piece of lace and sewed it on one side. Seeing my mother hold this walking down the aisle is priceless. Our wedding took place in another city so all of my vendors were remote. I really wanted to someone local to do this (shop small!). This was such a special, positive experience so I will always be grateful to Wendy - she is just so, so talented. Her daughter, Erin, is who I dealt with at the shop and Erin was the best! We started our rental process 3 months prior to our wedding. My fiancé went to have the first…read morefitting and the information was put in the computer under the wrong name. When the tux's came in and they went for the final fitting the shoes had missing eyelets, one shirt was too small, and my fiance's shirt had a ring of dirt around the collar. The manager told him it would be in at 10:00 the day of the wedding!!!!! When he returned home and discussed the situation with me I called the store and told her it was unacceptable and she needed to do better than that. She drove to the nearest factory the next day. The shirts were new and the shoes were as well. The Best Man then had to return to the store because the suspenders were dirty. The tux's looked much different on the guys then they did on the mannequin. The were oversized and sloppy looking. We had no choice but to use them at this point. When i went to return the tux's i forgot the shoes at home. I wanted to leave the suits at the store while I went to retrieve the shoes. They refused the suits and said they would need to charge me $25 per tux if I left them there while I returned home to get the shoes. This implied that I wanted to keep there disgusting product. SO YOU DECIDE. Do you really want to get your tux's here???

An hour into our appointment, the owner yelled at us in front of the entire store and said that we needed to leave because we were just playing in her dresses and weren't going to buy one. It was awful and humiliating. We were not being disrespectful whatsoever. The owner only cares about money and once she has your money for a wedding dress, you and your group are wasting her time because you're not forking over the money for a wedding dress.

My goal was to get something before the winter because my summer purse is fabric and leads to drenched contents during the rainy season. The features that were a must for my new purse were that it needed to be leather/water proof. The main compartment needed to have a zipper closure. I hoped to find a purse that has a full size flat pocket on the backside of the purse for my handicap placard and for my small file of half fold papers. My husband realized several weekends ago that I was shopping online for a purse. He steered me to JCPenney.com because they were having a sale that went through that Sunday. What could be better than buy one,get the second one free. After spending the day looking at pictures and reading descriptions I found two purses to order. I kept my fingers crossed until they arrived that they were going to be right but knew JCPenney is good about accepting returns if they were totally wrong. I found a scarf I liked on display but there was no price tag on it. I found the associate working…read morethat department and asked her to check it for me. there was no UPC code on it and she told me I'd have to take it to the check out so they could look it up. So I had to be the one standing in line waiting to get a price on this scarf. As i was standing there waiting, it occurred to me that SHE should have been the one waiting for a price...not me. I don't work there!!! so with that, i put the scarf back and they can shove it where the sun don't shine. VERY poor customer service!! Never again. why should i have to get the price??? are they not trying to sell their crap? (Of course, I looked all through the department and didn't see another scarf like it)
