Although there was only one person working the store, she was consistently checking in on everyone & made me feel immediately welcome & valued. I had one of those days where I tried on half of the store & very little looked quite right (my slim but athletic build is difficult to fit), but the woman who was running the store was nevertheless happy to grab me additional sizes & styles she thought I might like. And the bank with the credit card was 10% off at Ollie's on top of that. Well, I gave in to that. This is great! It is about half no name fake brand cheaper things that are knock offs (but not store brands like a Big Lots would have) and about half 2nd run name brands. I got Star Wars and Spiderman limited edition Pyrex refrigerator dishes, for just a scootch less than Goodwill would charge for them used. Those were clearanced on Amazon and the Pyrex website about 3 years ago, but here they are, resurfaced with racks and racks of them at Ollie's. They had all these comic books that came out around 2012-2015, and are about the age to get remaindered and past being clearanced at a bookstore. This location has tons of books. Pricing was all over the place for the books. The comic books were anywhere from $2 each to $8 each. (Most were $4.). The kids books were super randomly priced. Ones with retail value of $20 might be $2 at Ollie's, while ones with $8 retail value might be $4 at Ollie's. I used to resell books and the pricing was not related to retail pricing at all. There are bad deals here and there are awesome deals here. Good place for a last minute kids gift, because books are not as messy and cluttery as toys, so that is what I always give. I came for flower pots, in June (ie. in season). I was not disappointed. They have a bunch of ceramic flower pots ranging. A 5 gallon is around $20. Really big huge ones in dark blue (maybe 27 inches tall and more than 15 gallon) were $50 each. Last year, I went crazy at Lowes when ceramic pots were 66% to 80% off, and Ollie's on customer appreciation weekend was actually about like 60% off at Lowes for some of these. (With the discount, Ollie's flower pots are like 30% to 60% off Lowes ceramic flower pot prices; are like clearance at Costco; and are way lower than at Big Lots.) Probably a good place to check out for cute gardening stuff.

Poor customer service by the owner, I presume. I was shopping and being helped by the woman on the…read morefloor. I made a phone call and was repeating out loud the items the person on the phone was telling me I should get. I remember one being an item the woman helping me said was kept behind the counter. I simply said "Ok" and continued to grab what was on the floor. The man at the counter heard me on the phone repeating what I was told to get and took it upon himself to ring up the item that was behind the counter. (I was wondering why my total was so high but I didn't take the time to look in the bag or ask him to run to through everything. Big mistake.) When I got home and looked at the receipt I noticed a $36.99 item on it. Looked in the bag and saw a tiny bottle of product (Bold Hold) and realized it was what the lady said was behind the counter. I took the item back, as I did not ask for it, and was told I could not return or exchange it. The man told me "I heard you on the phone over there say you needed it" and asked how could he ring it up if I didn't tell him to do so. That's my question, sir! I said I don't even know what it is. He briefly explained what it was. Nothing I needed or wanted. I asked to exchange it for something I would actually use, totally giving up on the refund. No. He refused to break his policy (which he the pointed out on a top shelf, near the ceiling, behind the counter and merchandise, on a handwritten faded sign) and said that it would cause too many problems. I kindly asked how as it wasn't even opened. He was visibly irritated/annoyed. He refused to accept my plea. $36.99 for a product the company themselves sells for $19.99. By the way, he said it's none of his business what that company does and it was wrong for me to even ask why they mark theirs up so high. I told him he lost a customer. Be mindful of what is being rung up and look high up to your left behind the counter for their return policy.

Unfortunately, the dress was not finished in time, and communication has now stopped, as l've been blocked after requesting a resolution. She had shipped me the dress half made- not fitting correctly and now what I originally asked for, once i messaged her she blocked me on everything.
