11/26/22 Do things change over time? Some times they do. Other times they do not. The last time I was here, I was hoping the bathrooms would be cleaned up at the very least. I guess management is tell me and others " You can hope." Well the managment and staff members we saw at the checkout line were great. They gave off a good positive attitude and vibes. The was nicely stocked, but noticed the flooring was breaking apart an various places. Particularly by the bathrooms. The men's bathroom was just as disturbing as the last time I saw it. Employees who have to use the bathroom when nature calls are in for a rude awaking. Standing in a puddle or dried piss on the floor doesn't make me feel any better. Especially knowing your shoes can track this stuff all over your house...if you live in a household that wears shoes in the house/apartment. Last time I don't believe I took photos of the men's bathroom. This time I did. Please get this fixed, because someone could end up slipping on the broken tiles or get some kind of sickness using those bathrooms. The only reason I haven't given this review a 1 star is because the manager and staff members we met had great personalities. read more

Big lots surprisingly has a decent selection of home goods, decor, everyday snacks, food needs! Cleaning products , laundry needs, pet products and I have always received good service at their various locations. I would not furnish my home from there but for storage needs, outdoor furniture we have been happy with their service and selection! read more

I went in to buy some things and had to use the bathroom. 2 stalls were occupied and the middle one had human feces on toilet seat and floor. I tried flagging down a worker informing her of the health hazard. She had no sense of urgency after the second time repeating it she said she would let the manager know and kept organizing/stocking. Update: I took John's advice and added a picture for reference. I did not have a picture of the toilet seat because I did not want to go back in that stall. read more

My first time at Big Lots and it was better then I expected. We were looking for a couch and TV stand, and they had options we liked but none in stock. All nearby stores seemed to be sold out as well. You either have to pick up your own furniture or they suggest an app you can use to hire delivery. The price and quality of the couch we liked seemed to be perfect, but again none in stock. If you're not pressed on time, this place is a good option if they end up restocking. Nice and helpful employees. read more

The Latino gentleman that was running the cash register between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. on October 22nd 2022 needs to be fired. He was very rude he tried to charge me an extra nickel for bags when bags are only supposed to be a nickel and when I questioned this he turned his back on me went to another register and started waiting on other customers and ignoring me. I would post his name but his wrinkled dirty shirt didn't have a name tag on it. I'm giving this store a chance to do the right thing and get rid of this guy before I have to go to corporate and get more than just him fired. He took a mild irritation of a situation and escalated it to the point where it could have actually gone a lot worse. Joaquin the manager came in and saved the day. I was literally about to take a cart full of stuff and just leave it there. If you feel the need to treat another human being like that they're not human being doesn't need to help pay for your paycheck. read more

I would like to give a special thank you to Ron the Assistant Manager for this location. He went above and beyond with his customer service to make sure I got the appropriate Curtain Rods for my bedroom. He also took the time to help me troubleshoot the curtain rods over the phone and in the store! If more stores had customer service like this location the world would be a better place. read more

I love Big Lots! You never know what stuff you will find there. It's a great place to stock up on cleaning products, lotions and soaps that are closing out...but still good. Cheap frames and photo albums also abound. If you are looking for inexpensive stuff to decorate for a party...you just never know what you'll find. read more

Worse ever, racist register on a sunday afternoon they had me waiting in front of register for no reason. Oh wait, they jumped to another register to help white person out without any words to me on how long it might take to get my 1 item scanned or if i can even get it scanned. Just saw me,turn over to register 1 from 3 to help them. They never came back and just watched me stand there while everyone that came later got their business done in cashier 2. All of the cashier just watched me stand without an apology. Instead came over and laughed as I left the store. read more

I brought a box of dishes that I got home and they were ended up broken inside. So I then went to Big Lots to return the broken dishes and they told me they couldn't help me because it was supposed to be inside of a box full of the dishes so there's nothing they can do for me and for me to have a great day! read more

I will never step foot in a Big Lots again... After purchasing blue Christmas lights on Sunday I decided to get white ones instead. I drove 25 minutes back to the store the next day with the lights and receipt. After I got out of the car and packed up my newborn, I grabbed the bag out of the front seat and the receipt flew out of the bag. It was a very windy day and below freezing; there was no way I could have left my baby and chased after the receipt. Once in the store, I explained to the clerk what had happened, but he would not let me exchange for the same price value. Their RETURN POLICY is ridiculous and I'm out $12. I was going to buy a printer for $79.00 too. You would think they could be more understanding, especially around the Holiday season. Cheap prices are not worth it. This store is filthy dirty. On March 5, 2010, I saw a live mouse running up and down the store aisle where dry goods (mashed potato flakes, cereal, boxed macaroni and cheese) are sold. After screaming, "mouse! mouse!" for five minutes, I informed the acting store manager who was quite nonchalant in telling me that they were aware of the problem and Orkin would be exterminating on Tuesday.
