Service and help here was stellar! Love the retail offerings here: beauty, fragrance, clothing, shoes, even coffee table books.

I picked up an order recently, and my experience was outstanding. The service I received was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond by wrapping the gift for me--such a thoughtful touch! This was the best experience I've had with online shopping pickups.

Their great service and bright lights work on me every time... I normally don't buy anything at department stores, but I'll either buy something on the spot, or think about it and get it online later. The staff are great. When they opened the store the staff would run around trying to give me water. Now they are still super helpful. Many of their items are.... I wouldn't say "high end" because it's worth the outrageous prices the designers (not Bloomie's) charge, but I can say it's more expensive than the typical clothing store. But honestly after a sale here and there you get what you pay for. They stock high quality items. Even if you don't agree with the $200 tote bag (with a 25% sale here it's actually cheaper)... not that I would ever by one, but it's what the other department stores are selling at face value.

Bloomie's in the Mosaic District in Fairfax, Virginia is a great store to check out for name brand apparel and accessories. It's not the largest department store you'll set foot in, but it offers selected items that's sure to please. We visited Bloomie's in the afternoon on a weekday and the place wasn't busy with customers. There was an employee in nearly every part of the store, waiting to assist customers. The layout of the store is all on one level, making it easy to check out the different departments, especially since it's not a very large store. Everything was easily organized by name brand and size. I love how dog friendly Bloomie's is, as they even have an accessories area just for the fur babies. Adjacent to Bloomie's is the Colada Shop for refreshments. For checking out, there's one main area where all customer service needs are taken care of. It'll be nice when Bellevue gets a Bloomie's, which is forthcoming!

Cafe inside bloomingdale shop at Fairfax VA Had a desserts and coffee. It was rather expensive and nothing special. Churros came out cold, premade dessert cops with different kind of flavors were interesting, expresso was bitter and couldn't have cappuccino because their coffee machine broke..

It's a smaller Bloomingdale's. Yay despite this they still have the food cafe. That is neat and the customer service is solid. You most likely won't find street parking. Your best bet is the large garage, although so be careful. It is free so that is advantageous. I like but also am bored by the smaller store. The big one at Tysons Center is better. Yet I think this could entice folks back into the fold. One thing about Bloomingdale's is their customer service. Staff know what they are selling, and are polite and driven individuals. Here clothing and colognes aren't the "full monty." Yet if in Mosaic I'll often stop in. If you've figured out the pricing algorithm, you can do well. Sometimes you have to pay a bit more for clothing that will last longer. The same goes for shoes. This is a nice store.

5/7/22 This is high end merchandise. Whether or not sales go on at this store, the prices could still be high.

5/7/22 This place is high end and from what I saw today, none of it is what I myself would wear. I could see this store fitting better at the high end Tyson's Galleria aka Tyson's II. Nevertheless, the employees I met were in high spirits and smiling. The smiling did look fake. A young lady tried to sell me cologne, but the stuff was to powerful and a turn off. The men's clothing isn't what I had in mind for style, but came close on the sweatpants. It was interesting to sed what this shop had to offer even if I did not take a bite from The Garden of Eden. Oh, there is a lingerie section near the fine jewelry area where you can try on different outfits. I must say the clothing styles I saw were not meant for voluptuous women. This might change in time, but not likely. If you want coffee, there is a coffee and snake bar near the front entrance. Maybe one day we will come back here.

The Bloomies concept was very well done! I know this is the first Bloomies and I was blown away by the modern concept. The decor and colada store attachment made me feel like I was transported into a shopping oasis. They were not short in the brands available, however, there is a very limited selection for each brand. The brands are definitely skewed towards a crowd with more disposable income, but it was still nice to walk and enjoy a new kind of shopping experience. Overall: this is like a Blue Mercury with clothes, shoes, perfume, handbags, and lingerie. Staff members were very attentive with each party that came in. I would definitely come back if I wanted to feed my shopping addiction.

What an amazing addition to our area! Bloomies is Unique and is a beautiful store with an amazing range of beautiful, stylish, fun shopping options! I love the shoe department and Erica has been such a fantastic help in my shopping experience! Loved her positive energy and knowledge! Best part is, YOU CAN CAN A DRINK AT THE CAFE AND TAKE IT THROUGHOUT THE STORE WHILE YOU SHOP! Genius! Definitely a great way to have a fun girls night, shop and drink! So happy Bloomies finally arrived. I also loved the grand opening event! Love all the events they have at this store!

Candace F.

The new Bloomie's has finally opened!! So much hype!! And even though they don't have a petite department, this is a very petite store!! For all the hype, the grand opening wasn't anything special!! They were doing nothing when the store opened at 10 AM. When I went back later on, they had a few people outside, one making balloons, but that was it. That part was kind of disappointing! In the old days, grand openings were so exciting and fun!! I guess companies just don't do that stuff anymore. I didn't see anything that caught my eye during my initial walk-through but I'm sure I'll be back again to check things out more thoroughly. It seems like most people were focused on the Colada shop that opened next to them. I guess it's easier to splurge on a pricey drink than it is on a pricey item of clothing! I'll be very curious to see how they do!!

Target is located right in the middle of the Mosaic District. You can go around to restaurants, shops, and come here for your groceries. This location is a one place stop for all your shopping needs. I usually stay at the hotel down the street. This place has been a great help whenever I am in town. Everyone is super friendly and everything is easy to find. On the first floor there is a gelato shop which always has long lines. On the other side there is an entrance to Rasa. You can grab a quick bowl of Indian food to fill you up. If not, as soon as you go outside there are several restaurants filled with large crowds. This is a fun place to hang out. The Mosaic District is a great place to spend your weekend. Shortly afterward, we overheard them laughing about the fact that we had believed them. This behavior was highly unprofessional and demonstrated a lack of honesty, respect, and customer service. Customers should be able to trust that employees will provide accurate information and assistance when needed. If employees are intentionally misleading customers and then mocking them afterward, it reflects poorly on the store and the Target brand. I hope management investigates this incident and takes appropriate corrective action to ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

I have parked there many times before and I'm aware of the need to press the free parking button on the meter. I did press the button and I'm sure the 2 hours appeared. But there is no way to prove this. I did talk to Harris Teeter's manager and he told me they tow regardless of the meter and recommend parking on the upper level that Harris Teeter owns as they don't tow there. Also be aware that the signage on the lower level is limited and the towing enforced signage does not even include a phone number for the towing company. I had to walk up to Harris Teeter's garage to find a sign and number. My recommendation is to stay away from the lower level parking that is shared by Harris Teeter and Avenir Pl. As even honest people can find themselves paying 200 bucks through no fault of their own, it's just not worth the risk.

OK, it's been five years since I've updated this review and it's about time lol…read more This was the nicest Ross around because it's newer and cleaner, but it's now sadly starting to look like every other Ross. They do still have a decent selection at this location and the shelves are nicely and neatly stocked, with the bonus that they haven't crammed the racks together yet so you barley fit a cart like they are doing it every other Ross! The only negative thing, and it is a very negative thing, is the staff here are hit or miss. There are a couple really friendly ones but not very often. There's one lady who has dark hair and she's always at the register in the middle of the store with the jewelry around it - not the one ones near the window in a row - and she's so rude and unfriendly, it's horrible. I always say hi with a big smile but she is rude, won't look you in the eye and only speaks to you if necessary and it's usually to argue; she literally could give two you know whats!!! Thank God for Mr. Kevin who is one of the really nice ones, and so friendly and helpful AND HE SPEAKS TO YOU lol! Too bad he's only there part-time, because he is amazing & they are super lucky to have him!!! Thank you Mr. Kevin for being you and Rock on with your bad self cause you are mucho beaucoup appreciated!!!

I absolutely love this Anthropologie!…read more It's location in Mosaic Center allows me to add in a Target + grocery trip, with easy, free parking. It doesn't get any better than that! Their sale section is absolutely STACKED and the employees here are REALLY, REALLY NICE. When I came in post partum, looking like a hot mess, they must have saw me with a wild look in my eyes and helped steer me to some nice options that I still wear, and look great in years later! And this Anthropologie at Mosaic District in Fairfax is a solid location. I popped into Anthro to see what was new while walking around the area, and the store was very well-organized, bright and clean. Even the room where all the discounted items was not that messy, compared to other Anthros I've been in. I love that everything was organized by color. This is a nice Anthropologie store to check out while in the area. It's not the largest of stores; thus, they didn't have as much house and/or kitchen ware here like at other locations, but I still enjoyed checking out what was hot off the press. Love Anthro.
