I recently ordered in from Big Mama's soul food, and the food was so good. My container was so full and heavy, they did not skip on the servings because it was delivery. I ordered the baked turkey wing with the yams, cornbread muffin and turnip greens. Everything was delicious. And whoever ever made the sweet potato pie knew what they were doing. It tasted just like my mamas and I haven't had any good sweet potato pie since she's been gone. I come here for lunch and dinner. I have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and the service great. I'm a big fan of the chitterlings and the all you can eat catfish on Fridays isn't bad either (2pm - 6pm). The holiday catering has saved me a few times. The oxtail was good it was served on a bed of rice, husband asked for rice as a side but was told that the dish comes with rice already. If you want more rice with your oxtail get the side of rice. They should have told us that they were out prior to or as they were serving the food and not make us ask.
