This place hit the spot. You order at the front and they deliver the food to your table. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the combo plate with brisket and chicken. I could have used more bbq sauce. The cornbread muffin was tasty and the meal was very filling.

So we wanted to try something new and this was always a let's try one day so we did. Just coming in was really nice and felt comfy. The service was amazing and "Ariel" was my favorite. She heard yelling to my husband about getting more cheese biscuits and she was awesome and for us more and I devoured those. We got the pulled pork plate with baked beans and potato salad and the hub got 1lb ribs with flavored corn and Mac and cheese. Everything was so goof and flavorful. The only thing was our meat was hardly even Luke warm so that was a bummer but still was delicious. We would definitely come back here on service alone. If you haven't tried this place you need to asap.

Ok. Walking in feels like Texas, smells like good BBQ. I got the brisket topped mac and cheese, this was super good. Not a lot of fatty pieces which I appreciated! Service was great, they were all very sweet and helpful!

The Spare ribs wow! Shouldve gotten 1 lb, 2 lbs is enough for 2-3 people~. A bit on the salty side but overall decent ribs. The star of the show of course are the biscuits!! Service is so nice going table to table. Nice atmosphere, play some music

    BURNED, HARD RIBS

I really don't like this location. First, it's walk up order then depend on the waitress to get your food to you. Second, no one at the bar to make drinks. Third, MY GOT DAMN RIBS WERE BURNED & HARD. Very disappointed in this chain not chain. I'd really hyped this place up to my friend & was proud to take her here. Not this location. Back to Charleston I go. Will never be back to this new age, not good locale.

Food: 4.5/5 Interior: 5/5 Customer Service: 5/5 We stopped here on our trip back from a wedding in Waynesboro. I ordered a loaded potato with brisket and it was very good. My husband ordered baby back ribs, Mac and cheese. He enjoyed his meal as well. This is a nicer casual diner where you pay before eating. Although we didn't order any alcohol, the bar area is very nice. They have coat/purse hooks and cozy ambiance. The bartender was very friendly and she held open the front door for us and checked with customers to see if they needed anything since it was early and the bar was not busy yet. The southern states really do have good hospitality compared to a lot of the West coast. If I ever find myself in Georgia again, I would likely stop here.

Same as everyone else...I love the cheese rolls here! Be warned that they are addictive and will keep you coming back for more. I love the loaded baked potato here...I always sub for brisket instead of the pork bbq because that's just my preferred cut. It does cost extra. Never tried it with the pork bbq bit would never go back...the combination of the brisket tips with crispy bacon is perfect with the soft fluffy baked potato. Comes with 2 cheese rolls...and I'll usually order an extra half-dozen. The brisket by itself is tender and flavorful...also really like the chicken Jalepeno sausage...they sell them as add-on by the link now so I don't have to buy weight-based. I usually get the potato every 1-2 weeks. I always say I'll try something different...but never really stray away from this potato. I try loaded ones from other places but its never the same....Even got my coworkers hooked on it. Hubby gets the pork BBQ and it's pretty good...tender and flavorful. Cozy ambiance and friendly workers...service is great. Food always ready when I order online...quick and easy service. Family friendly atmosphere.

Half honey habanero and half buffalo

3 of us dropped in for a late dinner - we ordered pulled pork sandwiches and half honey habanero wings and half buffalo. We added a side of onion rings. You order at a counter and it's fast casual - the food was delivered by friendly servers fairly quickly. You get your own drinks at a fountain. Wings were good - honey habanero were the best - not too spicy but a nice sweet heat. The glaze gave it a nice texture too. The buffalo were a bit dry - not a wet sauce, per se. A decent blue cheese accompanied along with a few slivers of carrots and celery. My dining mates liked their pulled pork and we all had some little cornbread (?) muffins. The onion rings were okay - it was a different batter; almost like a panko? But they were crispy and held together nicely through a bite. (Versus falling apart) Brisket is the real test of a bbq place, but I was not up for it - so my review is a bit incomplete for a bbq joint. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly. I'd go back!

Brisket, pulled pork , bbq chicken, Mac n cheese

I was craving some bbq and wanted to try out this new spot in town.Ssome people have told me it's good at the other locations they've been to so I was excited to try this. We got the 3 meat platter with the pulled pork, mixed fatty and lean brisket, and bbq chicken, along with Mac and cheese and fries. I thought the pulled pork didn't have much flavor, and the brisket was okay, but surprisingly my favorite was the chicken. It was tender and well smoked. The flavor was great! Mac and cheese was also good, and the cheddar biscuits were great as well. I didn't really care for any of the bbq sauces. Lots of seating area and the building looked nice and clean. Portion sizes were on the small size and prices were slightly expensive for what you get. If I come here again I would get the chicken, Mac and cheese, and cheddar biscuits.

Pulled pork and double fruit side

Went there for lunch with a party of 8. There wasn't enough room for us to sit together inside so we were seated on the patio which is not ideal during pollen season but the outdoor tables and seating had been cleaned pretty well so it ended up not being too bad. They did have outdoor heaters that they turned on at our request. The service was professional and polite. The food was better than expected. They had gluten-free options. I had the JNN Classic Pulled Pork with two sides of fresh fruit. The fresh fruit was actually cold and fresh, which didn't seem to happen often at restaurants. Fresh fruit was strawberries, blueberries and green grapes. The pulled pork was generously sized and was moist, but didn't come with much sauce. The children's meal came with a drink and had nice sized portions.

Quick counter service type restaurant where you order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. They have quite an extensive menu so I appreciated their paper menu that we were able to look at before holding up the line trying to decide what we wanted to eat. The food was good, a little on the higher side, but still delicious. Everyone loved the muffins that came with the meal. The banana pudding was very good. The restaurant was clean, and service was quick.

I came here around lunch time and as I would expect this place was packed! The parking lot was very busy so my wife had to park next door but it looks busier than it is due to the drive thru. There was about a 20 minute wait but it went by fine since I was presented with a menu to look over while I waited. It is an order at the counter and sit down with a table number type place that I wasn't expecting but it helps speed up the ordering process when it's busy. The manager asked my wife and I if we wanted to sit at the bar and order food instead of the line and I am glad we did because the bar area is very nice and we were able to order like a tradition restaurant and grab a few drinks while we were lucky to have great outdoor weather. We order the brisket chili cheese wedges which were huge potato wedges covered in flavor! My wife and I each got different pork to share, the traditional and the Carolina. Both were fantastic and the flavors were good, nothing crazy but what I would expect for pork from a bbq place. The Mac and cheese side was super good, I highly recommend getting that paired with the baked beans. All in all this is a great spot, I have nothing bad to say and would absolutely go back for another round of new food options. The service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable, just prepare for a wait around busy hours.

Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry.
