I just wanted to give a review of my experience with my freezer repair. I received a call with the date (following day) from 9-5 window. I requested a call before tech arrived. About 9:05 I received the call that he was 30mins out. He arrived at 9:30 and was polite and knew exactly what the problem was ( I provided a video of noise, since noise was not always present) and got to work. Short time later he had replaced the fan and gave me tips on how to make freezer and refrigerator run more efficiently. Beside a couple wire clippings you would never know I had a repair person in my apt! Happy customer here! Oh and the girl that made the appointment was sweet as well! read more

They're constantly surprised whenever called and they don't keep track of appointments/work order/ordering parts/anything. After seeing the reviews the place has already, it makes sense that this is how they are, once he finally responded he had the audacity to say that " i am spamming him and that he was having phone/connection issues, and that he already said that and do I not understand English?" Given his position with the company, I felt like my complaint probably wouldn't go anywhere. But I decided to speak up because customers deserve to be heard and treated with respect. On Saturday 8 2026, I was given an appointment window of 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. I stayed home ALL DAY, even taking time away from work, because my apartment building has a contract with this company. NO ONE SHOWED UP. I called more than three times, and someone repeatedly answered and hung up. When I finally spoke with Mike, I explained that I had been home the entire day. Yes, I was very upset--and even more upset because I knew I was there. Yet I was told someone had come to my door and that I wasn't home. I even offered to send Mike my call log showing my calls to the company. He showed no interest in reviewing it. He also said they had pictures of my door as proof they came. My question was simple: If you were at my door and had my phone number, why didn't you call me? I was home waiting. Instead of trying to de-escalate the situation, apologize, or find a solution, Mike argued with me that made me even more upset..He hung up the phone, and told me to call back when I was ready to make another appointment. He then told me to write a Yelp review because he would be the one responding to it.I did not even know he was on yelp writing a review was never my intention. I was given another appointment for Thursday 13 2026 window of 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, meaning I was expected to sacrifice ANOTHER ENTIRE DAY waiting. Comments were then made making light of the fact that I would have to stay home all day again. Then came the "Welcome to America or this is America" comment. I never expected to hear something like that from a company representative. Regardless of how it was intended, it was inappropriate and made an already frustrating situation feel even more disrespectful. Mistakes happen. Missed appointments happen. But how you treat a customer afterward says everything about your company. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I wanted acknowledgment, an apology, and a solution. Instead, I felt dismissed, disrespected, and unheard. Listen. Apologize. Take accountability. Fix the problem. That's customer service. I almost stayed silent, but my time matters, my experience matters, and customers deserve better than this. It's Thursday 13 2026 stayed home again all day no one showed up . At 4:30 PM, the exterminator has been going door-to-door asking residents if they would like preventive spraying to avoid bugs. While speaking with him, I mentioned what happened on Saturday. He informed me that the refrigerator repair technician is currently working in Apartment 2A--the same apartment Mike claimed he went to on Saturday for a refrigerator repair and today again never showed up guess he feels like he was doing something to me by not showing up again. They need to be investigated. There's no way this guy is an accredited technician. My landlord hired these people to replace the fridge seal. That's it. That's all. He showed up unannounced. Then lied & said he called twice (phone records exist dude). Looked at the fridge for all of 5 minutes then insisted on "fixing the freezer" which didn't need fixing. Ever since then, our freezer & fridge are no longer keeping temperature & the fridge seal is still not fixed...which is what he was hired to do in the first place. The repairman has since come to my apartment several times and left without it being fixed claiming he would come back to fully fix it, and he never does. The tech showed up over an hour early with no courtesy call, damaged my wall and shelf dragging out the fridge, and didn't apologize or acknowledge the mess. He pushed my belongings across the floor with his foot and started removing food from the freezer without asking. When I asked him to stop and fix the shelf, he reinstalled it incorrectly, causing more damage, and hid the broken parts. I called and requested another tech, but was told it wasn't possible. I asked him to wait 5 minutes for my husband to arrive, and he walked off the job. When we called again, the secretary was rude, unhelpful, and didn't care about the damage. She promised a call back from the owner, then shifted blame to my building manager. They rescheduled for Saturday after 12:30 but arrived early again and refused to return. I had a small leak at the bottom of my refrigerator. I called the management office in my building and they sent over Big Mike's to repair the refrigerator. The technician who came today used a red hair blow dryer in the freezer and I didn't get to see what was done to the inside of the freezer until the job was done. The heat from the blow dryer warped and distorted the back of the freezer and the sides, please see photos attached. Below you'll find their exact response to me/ office management. If you own your appliance, please be careful, this company will justify technicians damaging your refrigerator and nothing will be done about it. From BigMike - "Please advise when the layers of ice are too much we sometimes use a heat gun (not a blow dryer). In this case the ice was too much and to avoid leaving tenants without a working fridge for multiple days our tech used it. The fridge was left in working order and since the side walls are plastic sometimes they bend a little or bubble due to temperature but that has no effect on the refrigerator whatsoever." read more

The absolute worst experience dealing with this company. My management company gave me their information and said that they would be the ones I need to work with in order to have my refrigerator fixed. I called made an appointment, a technician came out about a week later and said they needed to order a part and the office would be in touch. No word. Two weeks later I called they said they had the parts they would be out in a week. No one showed. I called a few days later to ask about the missed appointment and now the office says they have absolutely no information on me. They couldn't even find information regarding their own tech already coming out and writing an invoice up. Made another appointment to essentially start the process over and a tech comes out a few days later. I was explaining that the freezer now, in addition to the fridge is not working. The tech did not speak English so they called the office to translate. The girl said the seal would fix all. I tried to explain that the seal on the freezer was in perfect shape and that it seemed to be a separate issue. A guy, I'm assuming is Mike, gets on the phone and screams at me to let him do his job and then hangs up on me. Absolutely atrocious behavior and unprofessional to say the very least. read more

I am not surprised at all to see all of the poor reviews. The secretary/receptionist, I'm not sure of her title but the first point of contact (ivia phone) was very unprofessional and incompetent. She was also dishonest and a poor communicator. The technician, despite the fact that he was nice, did not even take a look at my fridge which had for the fourth time stopped cooling due to the back freezing over. The day before he was scheduled to come the ice melted and the fridge began to cool again. I explained all this and more to him and he said "call me if it happens again." Essentially telling me to call when it breaks again, at whatever point. A few weeks later when it inevitably did, I called back and was made aware that they no longer offered time-blocked windows (previously they offered 9am-12pm, afternoon, and evening windows) and that a tech would arrive "before 5pm" meaning one has to take off of work an entire day to have a technician just look at their broken required appliance. I asked my building management company if there is anyone else they could send to fix my fridge because of how poor the quality of service is and how much of a headache admin is to deal with. read more

We are mid Heatwave and I have a Broken AC in my apartment, for some reason my building booked this company to fix it, they told me theyd be here between 9-5 would not give any specific timeframe, but said they will call before they arrive. So fast forward at 1 pm and I call them to see where the repairman is and they said he came and noone was home, no call no ringing nothing. Our building management company contacted them 2 weeks ago to repair a broken dishwasher and we still haven't been able to get it resolved. They called a week later claiming they sent someone, but the repairman apparently got the wrong address and went to a different borough. A week after that, they sent someone again without any prior notice or call when no one happened to be at the apartment. Important to note that we have tried calling them more than 20 times over the past 2 weeks and haven't gotten a SINGLE PHONE CALL ANSWERED. This is company my scummy management company provides. They are just as unfriendly, unconcerned, and unprofessional. I have gotten my refrigerator " repaired " twice already for the same exact issue with no luck. I am now after almost a year still having the same issue but far worse. I have had a tremendous loss in dollar amount due to spoiled groceries because of the refrigerators lack of proper working parts. They set up an appointment with the time frame of 9am-5pm and there is no other option. Therefore I have to take time off of work every time they come. Despite her clear lack of professionalism I maintained my composure and was more than accommodating and polite in the conversation, even after she hung up on me twice and refused to give me her name. If I could give them a 0, I would. We had a gas leak in our stove and my management called this company to come fix it. They came out once and said it was the regulator. A few hours later, we still smelled gas. They then came out Friday after Thanksgiving and were angry that they couldn't come in the apartment through the buzzer even though I told them that they needed to call because the buzzer didn't work. He then told me everything was fine and all had been fixed and told me it didn't smell like gas. After STILL smelling gas the second time and letting them know, they called me. The guy was INSANELY rude and said "I won't come out again. You need to call 911 or the gas company and have them confirm and point out what exactly is wrong". Then proceeded to tell me he couldn't come out with "claims" of gas being smelt. Then hung up. Last time I checked, I wasn't a stove expert, so why am I being told to do your job for you? Turns out our stove was leaking a harmful amount of gas and the building had to evacuate. Needless to say, these people were so incredibly unprofessional about the whole thing and it could have been fixed if you took me and my roommate seriously. I have told my management they need to cut ties with this group and they're probably about to get a nice little violation along with my building from the EPA. I'm not sure how they are with other appliances, but for ovens, trust your own instincts and DO NOT use them! read more

When my landlord told me he called this company for my repair and I looked at their Yelp I was TERRIFIED. However, I felt obligated to write a review as I had a more than pleasant experience! The receptionist was very polite and nice, and got me an appointment as quickly as they could, noting that they had overbooked and were trying to rearrange things. I was given a timeframe of 9-1 and the repairman came around 12:45, and was in and out in less than 20. He was polite, friendly, and professional and I am very happy with the experience! read more

You can schedule an appointment, however, that doesn't mean that they will come. That's right, you know that episode of Seinfeld where he talks about taking a reservation but not holding it. That's the scenario right there. This abortion of a company does not give a crap about inconveniencing you in the slightest. The "fixed" appliance, actually is not a fix. It'll work for a few months, and then it will break again. At which point another replacement part will be ordered, and you will have to sit there and wait.
