Very rushed job, cleared the drain and that was. He did not check to ensure a full wash cycle would work. Lied and said they'd send a work order and did not. Took my cash and nothing was fixed. I do not recommend this business. He stated yanking and pulling on my wash machine handling it like almost was trying to cause damage to it. The freezer in my 20 year old subzero refigerator stopped working about three weeks ago. I called the factory authorized appliance repair and advised them of the problem. They advised me that it would be a few days before they could get a technition out to me and asked if I was handy and I replied yes. They said that the problem is usually a layer of dust on the cooling coils and that I should remove the forward panel and vacuum the debris off. They helped me with the process over the phone but it did not alleviate the problem. They then sceduled a repair appintment. The technition arrived on time and was extremey professional and friendly. He spent time troubleshooting the problem and determined that the freezer compressor and systems were working fine but there was a leak iin the coolant system lines that needed to be traced and repaired.He was honest and explained in detail all of the repair and replacement options to me. He further explained that the company did not do individual repairs and only rebuilt the entire system which was quite expensive. I gave him a generous tip and thought about the options. This was the good and what should be expected from a professional repair company. And now for the bad and Dynamic Appliance Repair: While still contemplating what to do I saw some friends and the situation came up. They said that they had used Dynamic Appliance Repair in the past and recommended them. I called them and was given an appointment with a repairman for the following week. The repairman arrived and failed to introduce himself as is generally the custom which should have been a warning sign. He brusquey asked where the refrigerator was and I took him to it. I tried to explain to him that a factory technition had previously examined it and had determined that everything appeared to be in order but it had a refrigerant leak that needed to be traced and repaired. The repairman became obnoxious and rude and told me that "I am forty six years old and an expert in sub zero refrigerators" and that I should leave the room while he works. When I tried to explain that I was only trying to make him aware of what the factory tech had said he exploded and yelled that he would not perform a repair for me and hurridelly and sloppily threw the parts of my refrigerator back together and stormed out of my house. I was shocked by his behavior! I immediately called the company, explained the situation and asked to speak to the owner. Mellisa answered the phone at 10:am and told me that the owner was out and couldn't be reached. I asked her to have him call me at his earliest convenience. I called repeatedly throughout the afternoon and spoke to Mellisa who repeatedly told me that the owner was out and she didn't know if he would get back to me. Obviously they had been through this before andf she was lying. I was persistent and finally reached Amir, the owner, after five and explained the situation to him and he blew me off and in essence showed me that he couldn't care less about what had happened. He wan't even smart enough to opologize and even feign concern. That would have satisfied me and I wouldn't have felt compelled to write this review. How this firm has managed to stay in business is beyond me. They take pride in being a familly run business but then again so did the Corleones. The moral of this story is to do your due diligence and remember that you generally get what you pay for. Avoid doing business with this firm and find a reputable one. Yes - it is another positive review for the exceptional work done by Mr. Ameer. Dryer wouldn't work but it wasn't the electrical connection. Mr. Ameer found the problem was a broken belt; I almost bought a new dryer. Full disclosure: the diagnosis and repair cost was not cheap BUT was Fair. And the work done was solid - haven't had a problem as I write this (belated) review three months later. Mr. Ameer has now done several jobs for me and is my Go-To guy for appliance repair. I've used this company twice in the last week and have nothing but good things to say. The lady who answers the phone was very nice and gave me a prompt appointment. The gentleman who repaired my appliances, Ameer, was terrific. Showed up wearing a mask and gloves of course because of COVID so this company is certainly taking CDC precautions serious and that's great to know. Ameer came and diagnosed my Father-In Laws washer Dryer unit and had the part ordered and installed within a week! Super fast! I was so impressed by their speed (especially during these times) that I called them to fix my fridge and they came the next day and he had the part already in his truck and my fridge was fixed on the spot. Terrific Prices are fair and repairs are done quick and they're taking the CDC precautions by wearing masks and gloves. Can't say much more than that. Will use again if need be in the future. These people are quacks. Not only did they rip us of money, wasted our time and called for parts not needed for our fridge repair. In addition the mechanic punctured the water pipe leading to the fridge which flooded our basement and we had to call a plumber in emergency who cut off the water supply to the fridge and showed us the damage to the pipe by the mechanic from Dynamic Appliances. Never call them for any job as they are not honest and do not know their job. We paid them $530 and $225 to the plumber and now will pay more than $500 to repair the damage to the ceiling. read more

I contacted about 6 companies when our fridge all of a sudden stopped cooling. This was the only company that told me they could come the same day. On the phone they were very respectful. I had read the reviews and was hoping, I would have the same experience as the others before me. Amir was professional and honest. He came and took a look and told us that if it could be repaired he consultation fee would be deducted from the repair charge. After looking at the fridge, he was not sure about the parts cost and the repair cost and was honest about it. He told us it may or may not be worth fixing, but he'd get back to us with quotes the same day.... which he did! This way we were prepared with the fact that we may need to buy a new fridge. Made an appointment and waited a week, technician Amerr literally walked in for two minutes after explaining the issue I was inform to call Samsung. He literally said this is not something he can do. I also explained I had a dryer issue and he said I would be charge another $50.00 for service since it's another appliance and I would need another appointment. Had my oven break down in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic; when one of the things to really look forward to in life was baking! I called on a Monday, they gave me a 4 hour window for the next day; Amir came early in that time frame. He immediately diagnosed the problems (actually neither oven in the 2-family house was working) and he was extremely fast in his repairs - he was probably in and out in less than 25 minutes: he replaced two electronic ignitions for the oven, cleaned all 8 burners; also told me honestly that a problem I was having with my dryer's door could not be fixed and I should just continue to live with it since it was not causing any harm. See we were loyal customers for the past year until we started having a lot of issues with the same fridge over and over again. It got the point where I didn't have a working fridge for 2 months and no one would return my calls. I called reception looking for a manager and the woman was less than pleasant. Hung up on me and never passed along the message. My sister called back a week later to try and follow up after no answer! and the receptionist woman had the nerve to complain that I rude and demanding. But she was aware of exactly who we were and the issue with fridge still no one got back to us !! After about 4/5weeks of playing telephone, no manager around to speak to and being ignored we got in contact with a different company who informed us the fridge wasn't working because the wires in the back had been cut. What kind of service are they providing ? The repair man was the only really nice one but once the issues started he was no where to be found. The receptionist is beyond rude and who even runs this place ? No manager around ever. At one point I called on a Friday and was told I would even be contacted by a manager on Monday on a ridiculous price quote on parts (close to $500) because they finally figured out what the issue was. After never receiving the said phone, even though at this point we were willing to pay to get a working fridge in my house, it never came. We were very disappointed with said service. My fridge broke down 3/4 times since the beginning of feb. I lost hundreds of dollars restocking the fridge every time they would ensure that it was working only for the food to go bad. I have small kids in the house, how were they not concerned for that! Don't deal with the extra stress kids. Just hire a different company. Not worth it!! read more

My Bosch gas oven broke. Bosch said they had a one month backup for a repair person to come and fix it! They recommended three third party repair companies, none of which wanted to come to Queens. Stuck! A friend highly recommended Amir of Dynamic Appliance. I decided to try calling. His receptionist was lovely and helpful. Amir came last week and knew exactly what to do. He tried to fix it without it ordering the part but it would not work. He did not want to be paid for the visit but I insisted. He ordered the part, came today and finished the repair. I called on a Monday and made an appointment for that Thursday to meet a repair person at my Mom's house. They suggested a time slot of 9-11 am. Since I have to take the subway to get to Mom's house to meet them, I said no, not before 10. The scheduler told me the time slot on their schedule is 9-11, but she'd note that they should not arrive before 10. She also promised they would call 1/2 hour before arriving. At 8:30 am they called my Mom's house and said they would be there in a few minutes. My Mom's home aide said no, they were not due until 10. They told her they would either come now or not at all that day, because that was when they were in the area. Bad customer service. read more

I had an oven that needed a thermostat. The technician came and put in the new thermostat and realized that the knob was the wrong knob so when the oven was off it looks like its on broil. The tech said no worries ill order the new one and have it sent to you. Ok I pay the bill and give him a 40 dollar tip. That was in January and still have not got the new knob. I called a half dozen times and the two times someone answered they said someone will get back to me. So long story short I paid 260 for a new thermostat and knob. Only got the thermostat and now no one even answers my calls. So I will never use this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I hired Dynamic Applicance Repair because of the good reviews on Yelp. Ameer arrived within the time frame that the ladies at the office said he would. He examined my washing machine and told me that it might be a simple jam from something like a coin getting trapped in-between the basket and the outer drum. But he also told me that it might be the transmission failing and that it might fail in the future. He disassembled about half of the washing machine and physically freed the basket so that it could spin. He re-assembled the machine and tested it to make sure it was working. Everything seemed fine. He cleaned up and gave me a bill that was very very reasonable. He said that he hoped I could get some more time of it running good. After he left I started a load of wash and after a while the machine began to make a noise like there was a screw loose and rattling around. I called the office and told them, and they said that Ameer would come back. He came back after he finished the job he was working on and took the covers off my machine. He located the noise and showed me that a part of the transmission was rattling loosely. I told him that the transmission was still under warrany for parts from the manufacturer. He said he would get me an invoice so that I could order the parts from the manufacturer and then he would do the repair and only charge labor. Later that week he emailed me the invoice, and I was able to order the transmission parts at no cost to me. After I received the big box of transmission and parts, I emailed him pictures of the all of it to make sure they were all correct for my machine. He confirmed that it was correct. It has been a few months since, and so far the machine is working well. I have found an honest, talented, and kind repairman. Five Stars to Ameer and Dynamic Appliance Repair. I called him for a refrigerator repair. Ameer told me that the coils needed to be cleaned. After paying for it, and the fridge still not working, he told me that the computer needed to be replaced. I ordered the computer board after confirming with him that this was the right part. Still not working. He then said I installed it wrong. He came over, saw that it was installed right, and then claimed it was the wrong part. Left messages, said he would call back immediately, does not call back. So I went by the reviews and the distance of the repair shop and I have to say I am so happy I chose Dynamic. I called around 1030 am and I got an apt right away to fix my fridge and Amir came earlier than expected. It took him a matter of 2 mins to tell me what was wrong, and ran down to his truck to get the part and fixed it within 5 mins. I'm not kidding! Amir is amazing; not only is he quick, but he's really knowledgeable, smart, extremely efficient and so nice! I've repaired other appliances in the past with other places, and they have either taken hours and had no interest to fix it or took a while to get the right parts. He told me exactly what he was doing and specifically what went wrong, and ensured I was certain I wanted to fix my fridge and gave me other options which I appreciated. They are fantastic. Diane was very courteous over the phone when I made an appointment. They were very accommodating. Ameer was on time and I was late. Luckily my mother was at home to let him in. He knew exactly what the problem was when he came. By the time I arrived at home, the refrigerator was fixed. I felt bad because he had to move the refrigerator by himself in order to fix it. I had wanted to clean the fridge and the surrounding area first before he serviced it. My mother said he swept out the dirt from underneath the fridge before he serviced the fridge. I was in NYC visiting my sister. My mom passed away last year and she is taking care of the family house. Well I wanted to cook something in the oven and she mentioned when it's cold outside the oven takes a long time to get warm. She thought it was a cold gas issue (LOL) I did some google/youtube research and came to the conclusion it was the pilot light even though it was glowing just not hot enough to ignite the gas. She mentioned she had used Sears before so I called them first and was not happy with the price quoted and the initial customer service while only on the phone. When I left town that weekend I gave my sister a heads up on about what the price should be based on research I did. What I told her was if it's less than $200.00 its a good deal and that they are an honest repair place that you will be able to use on other appliances. If it gets close to $250.00 have them do it but next time let's call around a bit more. Well they showed up, had the part, were very efficient, polite and came in less then $200.00. The tech that showed up at my house was professional and well mannered. He could have told us that our refrigerator was broken and could have charged hundreds of dollars to repair it which we would have happily paid to avoid paying a couple thousand dollars buying a new one. He pointed out a knob in the freezer that is often turned off by accident in my brand of appliance, turned it on and said that was the problem.
