Enjoyed a quick little trip, to central Oregon and discovered Big O Bagels ( @bigobagels )! They seem like a well-loved local chain, because after I left, hoards of people started coming in! The service from the cashier was great! Friendly asking about my day, the person who took my order wasn't very talkative or saying hello. The bagel was tasty, the egg was gross. The yolk was cooked into oblivion and had been reheated. I would have been better off with just spread if they are reusing old eggs and cooking for the efficiency or speed. Big O Bagels had been on my list of places to try for a while now, I just always seem to forget about it, until I stopped by in the morning the other day. I went to the location on the North end of Redmond (which I didn't realize was there until the day I went), ordered ahead and ordered a latte while I was waiting. Honestly both were unfortunately disappointing. I created my own bagel sandwich, nothing crazy but not very plain by any means so I expected it to have much more flavor than it did?? Idk there just really was nothing impressive or memorable about it whatsoever. Also the latte was given to me not all the way full. I didn't pay enough attention or make note of if the cup was the correct size that I ordered or if I was actually not given as much as I paid for?? I had already gotten to the car before I looked and saw that it wasn't full, so I accepted my fate and decided to assume that they were just out of the correct cup size. Regardless, I didn't like it anyways so it ended up being nice to have the extra space to "fix it" at home. Part of me wants to give this place another try, because I really did think I was gonna like it and I'm genuinely surprised by how disappointing it was - but I don't think I'm gonna be able to get myself to try it again when I could go somehwere I actually know I'll enjoy read more

I loved this place! I was trying to place what was different about the bagels and after reading some of the reviews, I think it might be that they don't boil the bagels before baking, or they at least don't boil as long. This does give them a different texture (not as soft), but I wasn't mad at it! We came back 2 days in a row (visiting from out of town) because I was sad to leave them behind. The first day, I got the garlic and herb bagel with the garlic and herb cream cheese. The girl helping us was really nice and gave her opinions on what she likes as I was debating on cream cheese for my bagel. The second day, I got the bacon and cheddar bagel with the garlic and herb cream cheese. Both days, I was blown away! The flavors are great, and the cream cheese was soooo good. I had the nantucket OJ to drink the first day, which was bleh, so I got apple the next day, and that was a win. We went in on a Saturday morning and a Sunday morning and didn't have a line really or have to wait. Staff was attentive and quick, as well as being friendly! Sad that these aren't out here in Vegas, but if I'm ever back, this will be my first stop! read more

The good news is that the staff there is very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, that is where it ends. I should say that I am from the east and know what a good bagel taste like. The bagels that displace produces I'm not bad for the location, but not even an image of the bagels that you can get back east. I am 76 years old and I've been eating bagels since I can remember! Instead of going to this bagel store, I would suggest going a block or two further to Walmart and buy the bagels that they sell there. Disturbing Observation... first let me begin that there were three of us in our group. We ordered different bagel types (chocolate chip, onion, and garlic) and the bagels were good. However don't order lox as it wont be lox... it's a cheap cream cheese with salmon-ish flavoring. The disturbing observation was watching a male employee exit from the staff door and go into a single-stall, single-person bathroom and two seconds later a female employee exit from the staff door and into the same restroom where it was then locked. Then two seconds later a third employee came from the staff door, and begin to say loudly "how middle school" and then close the staff door returning to work. So now you have two employees (male/ female albeit it could be same sex and the concern would be the same) in a single-person, single stall bathroom locked away and they remain in there during the course of our entire meal (20 minutes). When they emerge, they do so the same way they entered... one at a time. Both with big smiles. I'm a bit disturbed at this point. As we leave I ask to talk to the manager and explain my concern. The 3rd employee leaves the front with one remaining employee (who appears to be the hardest working one at this point) stranded by themselves for at least three minutes as more and more people enter the restaurant. The employee I complained to does not return to the front but the male employee who was previously in the restroom does. He approaches me laughing. I ask him for the managers info and he says he can't give me that information. Mind you the employee that I first approached has not returned and customers are still struggling to be served because only one person is in the front working. I again ask for information. The bathroom male continues to chuckle and refuse to get me info. And now this business gets this yelp review. You may think that this was some innocent two-person in a single-person, single-stall experience, but I assure you, it was not. Remember there were two single-person, single-stall bathrooms... it was the mile-high club without being a mile-high in an airplane. This is not what I came to the restaurant for... I did not need food and tasteless entertainment at the same time. I do not recommend this establishment for food; however, I do recommend the restaurant to the health department. read more

The bagels are great! I tried the everything and my partner got the herb and cheese. They were not too thick or too dense. Chewy and very tasty. The service was great, the women working were very friendly. They make and toast the bagels in front of you. I think there was a decent amount of toppings for sure. However.... The coffee was incredibly disappointing. It was on the colder side of lukewarm. I got a quad shot in a 12 oz mocha and it tasted basically like a hot chocolate, I'm not entirely convinced there was coffee in it, honestly. I'm only knocking off one star though because 1. It's primarily a bagel shop and 2. They just got the machine back so the woman did say she was looking forward to practicing more. I wish I could put no stars, the cutting boards they use smell like mold because they don't wash them they just wipe the crumbs off,they don't wear gloves and they rarely wash there hands after using the bathroom, I worked there not very long and the conditions were disgusting, Noel the owner and Camille are two people that I wokred with that you could tell they hate their lives, I've also witness d to many times people dropping bagels and putting them back as well as meats that go on your sandwiches, the meat you also eat is cut by a machine that is never cleaned and smells like mold. read more

Pretty good breakfast bagel. I got the eye opener with ham on jalapeño cheese. However, all three of the employees (pretty young guy and two young girls working at 11:30 on June 11th) were pretty rude. One was put out that I asked how the egg was cooked and couldn't explain how they cooked it, and one was very put out to have to communicate with the other two about how to ring up our order instead of me knowing what the group ordered. This bagel place has quite a few options on their menu and a variety of different types of bagels to choose to your liking. I came in to try a breakfast bagel so I ordered the Eye Opener on a plain bagel. It was pretty good, I liked the fact that it was made right away. I'd definitely come back to try a different option from their lunch menu or even their breakfast menu. The problem I usually encounter when ordering a lox bagel is I most often find myself wondering "where's the lox?" Not the case here! I nice portion of very delicious lox on top of an average bagel.
