Love this Big O Tires! Early this week, I went there with a leaky tire on my car. Due to my car having AlI Wheel Drive, I was very concerned that I might need a whole new set. Alec Rose and Joe Vigil were very friendly and helpful in fitting me in that day and keeping me aware of where they were in the process of looking at my tire. We were on a trip from California to Monument, CO. Stayed the night in Grand Junction, CO, and woke up with our car front passenger flat tire. We happen to be very close to the Big O in Grand Junction. They were VERY busy but got the tire fixed and us on the road as quickly as they could being so busy. All very nice, understanding, and caring while doing it all. Great service and hospitality! Oh, and they did it for no charge!!! We made an appointment for 4 PM to have an alignment. When we arrived we were told they didn't have time for us and couldn't do it because they had several walk-ins. What is the purpose of an appointment when walk-ins take priority. We left and had our alignment done elsewhere. The mechanic didn't seem phased that we were going elsewhere nor did he apologize for the inconvenience. read more

My friend warned me Big O Tires had tried to rip them off before. I decided to go anyways because I already had an appointment scheduled. I went in for a battery replacement. Both my dad (over the phone) and I (in person) verbally confirmed with Glenn that he was going to install an Interstate MTP 35 battery and the price. After the battery was installed I opened up my car and saw an "MT 35" battery was installed. It was a different model. Glenn claimed he misread it. I might be inclined to believe him if my friend hadn't explained a story of them being misled by Big O Tires. Do not go here. My friend recommends Batteries Plus Bulbs instead. read more

Walked the downtown streets, picked up b'fast did mail at the P.O., and 43 minutes total, it was fixed; i was on my way. Really nice group working there that work well together. A few weeks ago I experienced the sinking-heart feeling of walking out to my 2000 Honda prelude on my lunch break and seeing one of my tires nearly flat. At the advice of one of my coworkers, I drove the 0.2 miles to this establishment and let them know I could see a screw in my back passenger tire. The guy took my keys and my number and told me he'd call me when he was done. The service was so fast, so polite, and so easy. I was amazed. What I thought was going to be an expensive headache was a snap to deal with, thanks to the guys at this location. I am car guy. Have driven sports cars and classics for 45 years and do most of my own work. I am not a fan of Big O tires tho per se. But today's store sell Yokahama and Pirelli, probably other competitive brands as well. My four star review tho, is about the crew and this store. Chose to get new tires here based on decent tires at a very competitive rate per online quote. Requested an appointment on their website based on quote. After requesting appointment standard statement online saying appointment would be confirmed via phone or email. Neither happened, I had to call the store to confirm. After new tires were placed the price was significantly higher than the quote (+$100), and the store would not honor the quoted price. Service was... average at best. Better service and price on tires other places in town. Will not be doing business here again. read more

Two hours for an oil change and tire rotate. Two bays are in use no lines. I'm glad it's next to a bunch of hotels, you can use the hotel internet since the Big O Tire guest network is very slow. I would not recommend this store. read more

They probably are a decent shop for tires. Do not get anything mechanical looked at here. I was purchasing a used car for my college age daughter. As I do not know about auto mechanics and I wanted her to be safe, I opted to have a mechanical inspection done prior to making my purchase. Dan's Auto sales recommended Big O's, so that is where I chose to have the inspection done. They missed multiple things wrong with the car including rear brakes that were shot, power steering pump that leaked like a sieve and a valve gasket that leaked oil all over the engine. Put 950 into repairs three weeks after getting a clean "mechanical inspection" from this shop. Buyer Beware! read more

This is a great shop. I stopped by yesterday to get my tired repaired. The staff was very friendly and they got me right in. My tire was repaired within a half hour and when I took out my credit card to pay, the manager told me that there was no charge. What a great surprise. I was scheduled to pass through grand junction on vacation, I was in need of two new tires, I spoke with Brittany and she told me they did not have these tires in stock but could have them by Thursday that week at the latest and would give me a call, This would work because I would not be arriving in GJ until Friday morning. I received no call, but I was traveling and could have missed it. I called the store at 7:00 am on Friday morning, Brittany wasn't in, but the gentleman that answered the phone said he couldn't find any information but would check it out and call me back.
